NATM터널의 공종별 환경부하 특성 분석 (Analysis of Environmental Load by Work Classification for NATM Tunnels)

  • 국내 외 기후변화 대응 체제의 강화에 따라 전 세계적으로 온실가스 감축을 위한 노력을 기울이고 있다. 건설 분야에서는 건축물을 중심으로 온실가스 저감을 위한 연구가 활발히 이루어지고 있으나, 온실가스 이외에 지구환경에 영향을 미치는 각종 오염물질을 고려한 종합적인 환경부하 저감을 위한 연구는 다소 부족하다. 이에 본 연구에서는 NATM터널을 대상으로 LCA (Life Cycle Assessment, 전과정 평가) 방법론을 이용하여 공종별 환경부하 특성을 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 라이닝콘크리트공, 숏크리트공, 갱문 및 개착터널 등 7대 공종이 NATM터널의 주요 환경부하 공종으로 나타났으며 전체 환경부하량의 89.22%를 차지하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 대표공종들의 연장(m)당 환경부하량을 산정하여 비교 분석한 결과 개착구간에 해당하는 갱문 및 개착터널 공종의 환경부하량이 가장 큰 것으로 나타났으며, 전체 터널 구간을 대상으로 할 경우 라이닝콘크리트공과 숏크리트공에서 환경부하량이 많이 발생하는 것으로 분석되었다. 본 연구의 결과는 설계초기단계에서 환경부하 대표공종의 물량을 개략적으로 산출하여 전체 환경부하량을 추정하는 모델 개발 시 활용할 수 있을 것으로 판단되며, 향후 친환경 SOC건설을 위한 환경부하 관리방안을 수립하는데 큰 역할을 할 것으로 기대된다.

  • 도심지에 건설되는 지하터널의 경우 터널 지상부 환경의 고려 뿐만 아니라 터널이 건설되는 지반 내부 환경의 변화를 정확히 파악하여 설계·시공해야한다. 하지만 현재 터널 설계에 적용되는 프로그램의 제한적 기능과 활용의 어려움으로 인해 지반응력, 지하수위 변화 등을 연계한 수치해석에 어려움이 있다. 이는 과다 설계로 이어져 공사비를 증가시키기 요인이 될 수 도 있고 부실 설계로 인해 시공 중 사고로 이어질 수 있는 문제가 발생할 수도 있다. 특히, 저토피 구간에 설치되는 도심지 터널의 경우 터널 상부 지층에 지하수위가 존재하며, 지하 공사 중 지하수위 저감으로 인해 상부지층의 유효응력이 증가되어 지반이 침하하는 현상이 발생할 수도 있으므로 지하수위 변화를 정확히 평가 후 설계를 해야한다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 터널 상부에 지하수위 층이 있는 도심지 지하터널을 대상으로 배수형태에 따른 응력-침투 연계해석을 통해 터널의 거동특성을 분석하였다.

터널 굴착에 따른 고원습지 영향 최소화 방안 연구 (A Study for Minimizing Wetland's Influence by Tunnel Excavation)

  • In this paper, we have studied the expected problems when tunnel is excavated under the wetland, and described the measure to maintain the wetland's ecosystem environment. Firstly, we investigated the wetland's ecosystem such as plants and animals, and executed ground investigation including in-situ tests and geophysical survey. And we analyzed the foreign similar cases for tunnel excavation near the wetland. We also evaluated the runoff and infiltration quantity of groundwater and hydraulic behaviour of rock mass and wetland by numerical analysis. Finally, we established the effective measure to minimize the ecosystem's influence by tunnel excavation.

암반풍화도에 따른 지질공학적 특성 저감효과 (Effects of Rock Weathering on the Degradation of Engineering Properties)

  • 풍화작용은 심부에서 생성된 암석이 지표에서 파괴되고 변질되어 현재의 환경조건과 평형을 이루는 산물을 형성하는 과정이다. 본 연구에서는 국내에서 가장 분포면적이 넓은 화강암질암의 풍화단계별 시료를 채취하여 편광현미경관찰, X-선 회절분석, 전자현미경관찰, 화학분석, 물성시험등을 수행하였다. 실험결과에 의거하여 풍화에 의해 형성되는 2차광물, 특히 점토광물의 형성과정을 확인하였고, 풍화에 따른 암석의 공학적인 성질변화와 물성저하의 메카니즘을 규명하였다.

프리캐스트 판넬을 이용한 장대터널 내부라이닝 개선방안 연구

  • Increasing constructions of tunnels are become larger of the size and longer of the length. Construction of the tunnellinings is in poor working environment, for example, dark and narrow underground. Therefore, it is difficult to constructlining by required quality in these poor working conditions. In case of the designing tunnel in large scale, particularly, there may be several problems as follows; delay of construction due to a long time in constructing lining and difficulty of quality control. It is also indicated that longitudinal cracks of them are main defects in domestic tunnels. Therefore, in this study, the precast lining method is introduced for solving problems, which are delay of the tunnel construction a d deterioration of tunnel lining. Precast linings have mainly been constructed in Norway and North Europe. A new construction method of tunnel lining, suitable in domestic situation, is introduced by detailed case study. Also, useful materials for design and construction of Precast lining are presented.

비젼센서를 이용한 콘크리트 터널 라이닝 균열검사 시스템의 개발 (Development of Vision-Based Inspection System for Detecting Crack on the Lining of Concrete Tunnel)

  • To assess tunnel safety, cracks in tunnel lining are measured by inspectors who observe cracks with their eyes. A manual inspection is, however, slow and subjective. This paper, therefore, proposes vision-based inspection system for measuring cracks in the tunnel lining that inspects cracks fast and objective. The system is consisted of an on-vehicle system and a lab system. An on-vehicle system acquires image data with line CCD camera. A lab system extracts crack then inform their thickness, length and orientation by using image processing. To improve accuracy of crack recognition the geometric properties of a crack was applied to image processing. The proposed system were verified with experiments in both laboratory and field environment.

  • Many of research on noise reduction techniques have been progressed for the improvement of noise environment in subway train. There are many way to noise reduction techniques in the tunnel, but it has been reported as an alternative to attach sound absorption material on tunnel wall. For this reason sound absorption material has been studied for application of tunnel. The objective of this study is to investigate design parameters on a Helmholtz resonator with built-in sound absorption panel for the reduction of the tunnel noise in the subway. Sound absorption panel composed of the perforated panel with sub-millimeter holes and the airspace backed a rigid wall or between panels. The experiment is performed through the change of number of perforated panel, cross sectional area and the depth of airspace of the sound absorption panel under the normal incidence sound.

  • It seems inevitable for residential buildings to be high-rise and allocated near traffic roads due to the overcrowding in urban area. Acoustic environment in those area has been seriously deteriorated by the increase of traffic vehicles. Commonly used sound barriers have a limitation in controlling noise due to diffraction noise of sound barrier. Hence sound barrier is not effective to attenuate noise especially for the residential units in high level. This work aims at evaluating noise reduction according to the tunnel section shape by using 1/5 scale model. We carried out a number of field measurements for 1/5 scale model of Noise Barrier Tunnel with various sectional shape. The results from predictions and the measurement show generally good agreement.

  • To avoid the large scale of damage when fire occurs in the tunnel, it is necessary to have a system to minimize the damage, and early discovery of the problem. In this paper, we have proposed algorithm using the image processing, which is the high-speed detection for the occurrence of fire or smoke in the tunnel. The fire detection is different to the forest fire detection as there are elements such as car and tunnel lightings and other variety of elements different from the forest environment. Therefore, an indigenous algorithm should be developed.The two algorithms proposed in this paper, are able to complement with each other and also they can detect the exact position, at the earlier stay of detection. In addition, by comparing properties of each algorithm throughout this experiment, we have proved the propriety of algorithm.

  • High flowable concrete was first developed in 1988 to achieve durable concrete structures. High flowable concrete can improve workability sharply reason why the concrete has properties of resistance to segregation, filling ability, passing ability without compacting. Therefore, as we apply a high flowable concrete to a large dimensional tunnel which constructed in special environment, we can get workability, strength and durability required. Tunnel lining concrete with a large dimension has to use necessarily fly ash and slag for the properties of high flowability and watertight. We can expect improvement of workability and durability, mitigation of hydration, reducing shrinkage, enhancement of watertight by using cementitious materials. This paper proposes investigations for establishing a mix-design method and high flowability-strength testing methods have been carried out from the viewpoint of making a standard concrete tunnel lining with large dimension a standard.
