  • Fingerprinting scheme is a technique which supports the copyright protection to track redistributors of digital content using cryptographic techniques. These schemes enable the original merchant to identify the original buyer of the digital data by embedding fingerprints into digital contents. Asymmetric property of fingerprinting schemes is important to keep the buyer's privacy. In this paper, we propose a symmetric encryption based fingerprinting protocol without trusted third party. Our scheme enables the reduction of computational costs for the encryption using symmetric key encryption scheme. Since a trusted third party doesn't take part in making the fingerprint of each buyer, the protocol doesn't need to control the trusted third party and it is more secure against collusion attack.

  • Mobile cloud computing (MCC) has revolutionized the way in which the services can be obtained from the cloud service providers. Manifold increase in the number of mobile devices and subscribers in MCC has further enhanced the need of an efficient and robust authentication solution. Earlier, the subscribers could get cloud-computing services from the cloud service providers only after having consulted the trusted third party. Recently, Tsai and Lo has proposed a multi-server authenticated key agreement solution for MCC based on bilinear pairing, to eliminate the trusted third party for mutual authentication. The scheme has been novel as far as the minimization of trusted party involvement in authenticating the user and service provider, is concerned. However, the Tsai and Lo scheme has been found vulnerable to server spoofing attack (misrepresentation attack), de-synchronization attack and denial-of-service attack, which renders the scheme unsuitable for practical deployment in different wireless mobile access networks. Therefore, we have proposed an improved model based on bilinear pairing, countering the identified threats posed to Tsai and Lo scheme. Besides, the proposed work also demonstrates performance evaluation and formal security analysis.

  • Private Matching is the problem of computing the intersection of private datasets of two parties without revealing their own datasets. Freedman et al.[1] introduced a solution for the problem, where only one party gets private matching. When both parties want to get private matching simultaneously, we can consider the use of Kissner and Song[2]'s method which is a privacy-preserving set intersection with group decryption in multi-party case. In this paper we propose new protocols for fair private matching. Instead of group decryption we introduce a Semi-Trusted Third Party for fairness. We also propose an update procedure without restarting the PM protocol.

  • A threshold decryption scheme is a multi-party public key cryptosystem that allows any sufficiently large subset of participants to decrypt a ciphertext, but disallows the decryption otherwise. When performing a threshold decryption, a third party is often involved to guarantee fairness among the participants. To maintain the security of the protocol as high as possible, it is desirable to lower the level of trust and the amount of information given to the third party. In this paper, we present a threshold decryption scheme which allows the anonymity of the participants as well as the fairness by employing a semi-trusted third party (STTP) which follows the protocol properly with the exception that it keeps a record of all its intermediate computations. Our solution preserves the security and fairness of the previous scheme and reveals no information about the identities of the participants and the plaintext even though an attacker is allowed to access the storage of the STTP.

  • Electric commerce system based on distributed mobile on object such as mobile agents need both precise identification and secure authentication scheme on remotemobile entities. In this paper, existing discrete logarithm based Schnorr like entity authentication schemes are improved by the analysis of performance and security on the bi-directional interactive proofs. And ElGamal like schemes are also proposed. Then, there are enhanced with oblivious transfer based mono-directional authentication schemes based on trusted third party for applying to the mobile agent based computing systems. Therefore, proposed schemes provide compatible performance and safety on mobile entity authentication process.

  • Mobile computing system requires both precise identification and secure authentication scheme on remote mobile entities, which is based on the distributed mobile node. In this paper, existing discrete logarithm based $Schnorr^{[7]}$ like entity authentication schemes are improved by the analysis of performance and security on the hi-directional interactive proofs. And $EIGamal^{[14]}$ like efficient authentication schemes are also proposed. Then, these are enhanced with oblivious transfer based mono directional authentication schemes based on trusted third party for applying to the mobile agent based computing systems. • In this paper, we proposed scheme that we use a difference of timestamp in time in Ubiquitous environments as we use the Diffie-Hellman method that OTP was applied to when it deliver a key between nodes, and can detect a malicious node at these papers. Existing methods attempted the malicious node detection in the ways that used correct synchronization or directed antenna in time. We propose an intermediate malicious node detection way at these papers without an directed antenna addition or the Trusted Third Party (TTP) as we apply the OTP which used timestamp to a Diffie-Hellman method, and we verify safety regarding this. A way to propose at these papers is easily the way how application is possible in Ubiquitous environment.

  • This paper proposes a secure data forwarding scheme on source routing-based ad-hoc networks. The scheme uses two hash-key chains generated from a trusted third party to generate Message Authentication Codes for data integrity The selected MAC keys are delivered to the ad-hoc node using a pre-shared secret between the trusted third party and a node. The proposed scheme does not require the PKI, or the provisioning of the pre-shared secrets among the ad-hoc nodes.
