The paper tries to review the structure, functions and responsibilities of International Fisheries Bodies including the Indo-Pacific Fisheries Commission(IPFC), which was changed to Asia-Pacific Fisheries Commission(APFIC) by the amendments of the Agreement on 1993. In addition to this review it tries to find out the current issues of international fisheries in the Asia-Pacific m It also tries to find ways and means for our country to manage such kind of international fisheries issues in that area. Finally, it tries to propose ways how our country strengthen its activities in International Fisheries Bodies and impact on establishment of internationl fisheries policies.

In this paper, I tried to analyze the relationship between the market structure of teleommunicatin industry and market performance using Economides and Lehr's results considering composite goods methods. And I took three policy scenarios into account. First, government tires to implement the policy which divides the integrated monopoly into network operator and service provider, then invite competition to service part. Second, government tries to implement the policy which invite the competition to service part only. Third, government tries to implement the policy which invite the competition to integrated duopoly. I gained the best result in the third scenario. So we can conclude that Parallel vertical integration is the best market structure. I also specially checked the relationship between the market structure and service quality. I gained the best service quality in the third scenario. So we can conclude that Parallel Vertical Integration is also the best market structure with regard to the service quality.

The stringent performance requirement for the high efficiency of routing protocols on the Internet can be satisfied by exploiting the threaded border gateway protocol (TBGP) on multi-cores, but the state-of-the-art TBGP performance is restricted by a mass of contentions when racing to access the routing table. To this end, the highly-efficient parallel access approach appears to be a promising solution to achieve ultra-high route processing speed. This study proposes a general routing table structure consisting of two-level tries for fast parallel access, and it presents a heuristic-based divide-and-recombine algorithm to solve a mass of contentions, thereby accelerating the parallel route updates of multi-threading and boosting the TBGP performance. As a projected TBGP, this study also modifies the table operations such as insert and lookup, and validates their correctness according to the behaviors of the traditional routing table. Our evaluations on a dual quad-core Xeon server show that the parallel access contentions decrease sharply by 92.5% versus the traditional routing table, and the maximal update time of a thread is reduced by 56.8 % on average with little overhead. The convergence time of update messages are improved by 49.7%.

The expression KES, one of the most commonly used words in the Korean language, has various usages. This expression is also used to express English-like cleft constructions. It appears to provide at two different types of cleft constructions: predicational and identificational. The paper tries to provide a constraint-based analysis of these two types of Korean cleft constructions and tries to implement the analysis in the LKB system to check its feasibility. In particular, the paper shows how a typed feature structure grammar, couched upon HPSG, can provide a robust basis for parsing Korean cleft constructions.

This paper treats the japanese adjective phrase forming derivational suffix -tai from a new point of view: firstly it tries to approach from a semantic standpoint by applying the proposal made in Ikeya (1991). It will be shown that adjective phrases formed by -tai fits nicely with the semantic structure proposed by Ikeya. Secondly, we attempt to 'derive' -tai sentences by adopting a basic framework of HPSG so that we can 'derive' them without having recourse to transformational operations, that is, in a monostratal way. In tackling the problem we have tried to incorporate many ideas proposed so far on this issue.

One of the terms that are most often used in mathematics classrooms by either teachers or students might be about 'understanding' of mathematical concepts. Although 'understanding' in mathematics teaching and learning has been highly emphasized by many people, there is no exact and undebatable definition of 'understanding' as of yet. This paper tries to contribute to unfolding the meaning and the structure of understanding in mathematics education along with various literature and finally enhance our understanding of 'understanding' in mathematics education.

This study tries to view the social and public roles of roads in urban structure in a renewed way, focusing on NakAn-Eupsung, which was a spontaneous settlement, not a designed city, of the many traditional villages. The most valuable meaning the alleys of traditional villages give us is the community of cooperation. Thus, this study tries to examine the features of the community in three major ways happening on the alleys of NakAn-Eupsung in three major ways. First, the features according to regional community; second, the features by social community; third, the features according to public community. Through this, we can understand the features of alleys within the building structure of traditional villages, and also we can have a chance to grasp the image of 'togetherness-of-the-public', long lost on contemporary alleys. In order to realize the ideal of sustainable residence, the techniques of housing complex project are continually being developed, and recently it is not hard to come across the flow of planning techniques taking especially community into consideration. At this point of time, it seems that various kinds of communities being made up on roads of traditional villages can present new directions and models to contemporary housing complex formation.

IP 라우팅에서는 가장 긴 프리픽스가 일치 (longest prefix matching)되는 목적지 IP 주소를 사용한다. 따라서 고속 If 라우팅을 위하여 IP 주소 검색이 고속으로 수행되어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 소프트웨어 기반의 유연한 IP주소 검색을 효과적으로 수행하는 LC-트라이 알고리즘을 개선한 다중 LC-프라이 기법을 제안한다. 메모리 검색 회수를 줄이기 위하여 검색되는 IP 주소의 분포 패턴을 분석하여 자주 접근되는 IP 주소의 집합으로 별도의 LC-트라이를 구성함으로써 기존의 단일 LC-트라이 기법에 비하여 빠른 검색 결과를 실험을 통해 확인한다.

This paper proposed a conceptual design of bascule bridge, which is a new kind of movable bridge with an aim of reducing the weight of superstructure. Compared with the traditional bascule bridge, the light bascule bridge chooses cable-stayed bridge with inclined pylon as its superstructure; therefore, the functions of balance-weight and structure will fuse into one. Otherwise, it adopts moving counterweight to adjust its center of gravity (CG) to open or close the bridge. In order to lighten the superstructure, it uses contact springs to auxiliary retract, and intelligent prestressing system (IPS) to control the main girder's deformation. Simultaneously the vibration control scheme of structure is discussed. Starting from establishing the mechanical model of bridge, this article tries to analyze the conditions that the design parameters of structure and attachments should satisfy to. After the design procedure was presented, an example was also adopted to explain the primary design process of this kind bridge.

Recently, the Korea's economy concerns the second money crisis because of the rapid increase of the exchange rate. The Korea's economy which is very dependent on the foreign trade is more sensitive to the change of exchange rates. There are many literatures which analyze the effects of variations of the exchange rates on the secondary and tertiary industries such as the manufacturing industry and IT(Information Technology). But there have been no studies which try to figure out the effects of variations of exchange rate on the primary industries, especially, fisheries' industry. Therefore this paper tries to analyze the effect of price competition structure and the change of exchange rate on foreign fisheries exporting prices in Korea's fisheries import market. This study utilizes OLS(Ordinary Least Squares Analysis) for the analysis in the market of frozen yellow corvina, hairtail, angler fish which are major fisheries importable in Korea. The results show that the exporting country which has the highest market share is more sensitive to the change of the exchange rates itself than that of the other exporting countries' price when it starts to set up its exporting price. And the exporting countries which have low market share are more sensitive to the change of price which country has the highest market share than that of price whose countries have low market share and those of their exchange rate. Also we can find out that the countries which have similar market share try to set up price-setting strategy in the opposite direction. In other words, one country tries to bid up its price, other countries response to rival country by lowering their prices. In the consideration of the fact that most exporting countries aren't affected by Korea's fisheries' prices, the exporting countries in Korea's fisheries import market are more sensitive to the prices of other exporting countries than that of Korea's. This result indicates that the price leader-follower model could be applicable to the Korea's fisheries import market.
