In this paper, we propose a video summarization technique on a smartphone, based on spatiotemporal saliency. The proposed technique detects scene changes by computing the difference of the color histogram, which is robust to camera and object motion. Then the similarity between adjacent frames, face region, and frame saliency are computed to analyze the spatiotemporal saliency in a video clip. Over-segmented hierarchical tree is created using scene changes and is updated iteratively using mergence and maintenance energies computed during the analysis procedure. In the updated hierarchical tree, segmented frames are extracted by applying a greedy algorithm on the node with high saliency when it satisfies the reduction ratio and the minimum interval requested by the user. Experimental result shows that the proposed method summaries a 2 minute-length video in about 10 seconds on a commercial smartphone. The summarization quality is superior to the commercial video editing software, Muvee.

We designed the model picture of Tourism Botanical Garden, as a kind of theme park, in which we could enjoy flowers all the year round and the glorious tints of its autumn foliage. It would be very important to decide what kinds of trees should be planted and where to plant them. We selected the appropriate flowers and trees according to their value of appreciation and flowering time and the grand view around there and the weather conditions of the central region. We selected perennial plants as native plants, according to their color, flowering time and for the convenience of maintenance. And we selected some kinds of culture plants to show the seasonal change and diversity, according to their color and flowering time. We adopted the roof-tile pattern of Pakjae Kingdom to design the basic model of the garden, and the area was divided into eight sections. Six of them were divided again into four small planting areas from the outside respectively, according to the kinds of trees; pine-tree area, native flowering plant area, flowering tree area and flowering shrub area. The last two sections are by a lake, so they could make a beautiful landscape of waterfront. For the effective and economic operation of the garden, some kinds of flower trees and shrubs, which are little damaged by blight and are needless to prune, were selected. And perennial plants were also selected, because we don't have to change them into other plants, so we could cut down the expenses. As for the culture plants, they could be easily replaced with other culture plants in the flowering time, to show seasonal change and the harmony with the scenery around the garden.
In recent years, many people in the manufacturing field have been making efforts to increase efficiency while analyzing manufacturing data generated in the process according to the development of ICT technology. In this study, we propose a data mining based manufacturing process using decision tree algorithm (CHAID) as part of a smart factory. We used 432 sensor data from actual manufacturing plant collected for about 5 months to find out the variables that show a significant difference between the stable process period with low defect rate and the unstable process period with high defect rate. We set the range of the stable value of the variable to determine whether the selected final variable actually has an effect on the defect rate improvement. In addition, we measured the effect of the defect rate improvement by adjusting the process set-point so that the sensor did not deviate from the stable value range in the 14 day process. Through this, we expect to be able to provide empirical guidelines to improve the defect rate by utilizing and analyzing the process sensor data generated in the manufacturing industry.

Purpose: We retrospectively analysed patients' dental and periodontal status according to the presence of non-communicable diseases (NCDs) and the effects of NCDs on periodontal treatment outcomes. Factors influencing disease recurrence were investigated using decision tree analysis. Methods: We analysed the records of patients who visited the Department of Periodontology, Pusan National University Dental Hospital from June 2014 to October 2019. As baseline subjects, 1,362 patients with periodontitis and who underwent full-mouth periodontal examinations before periodontal treatment were selected. Among them, 321 patients who underwent periodontal examinations after the completion of periodontal treatment and 143 who continued to participate in regular maintenance were followed-up. Results: Forty-three percent of patients had a NCD. Patients without NCDs had more residual teeth and lower sum of the number of total decayed, missing, filled teeths (DMFT) scores. There was no difference in periodontal status according to NCD status. Patients with a NCD showed significant changes in the plaque index after periodontal treatment. The decision tree model analysis demonstrated that osteoporosis affected the recurrence of periodontitis. Conclusions: The number of residual teeth and DMFT index differed according to the presence of NCDs. Patients with osteoporosis require particular attention to prevent periodontitis recurrence.
This study explored all domestic and international theories for maintenance and health enhancement of an old and big tree, and carried out the anatomical survey of the operation part of the tree toward he current status of domestic surgery and the perception survey of an expert group, and drew out following conclusion through the process of suggesting its reform plan. First, as a result of analyzing the correlation of the 67 subject trees with their ages, growth status. surroundings, it revealed that they were closely related to positional characteristic, damage size, whereas were little related to materials by fillers. Second, the size of the affected part was the most frequent at the bough sheared part under $0.09m^2$, and the hollow size by position(part) was the biggest at 'root + stem' starting from the behind of the main root and stem As a result of analyzing the correlation, the same result was elicited at the group with low correlation. Third, the problem was serious in charging the fillers (especially urethane) in the big hollow or exposed root produced at the behind of the root and stem part, or surface-processing it. The benefit by charging the hollow part was analyzed as not so much. Fourth, the surface-processing of fillers currently used (artificial bark) is mainly 'epoxy+woven fabric+cork', but it is not flexible, so it has brought forth problems of frequent cracks and cracked surface at the joint part with the treetextured part. Fifth, the correlation with the external status of the operated part was very high with the closeness, surface condition, formation of adhesive tissue and internal survey result. Sixth, the most influential thing on flushing by the wrong management of an old and big tree was banking, and a wrong pruning was the source of the ground part damage. In pruning a small bough can easily recover itself from its damage as its formation of adhesive tissue when it is cut by a standard method. Seventh, the parameters affecting the times of related business handling of an old and big tree are 'the need of the conscious reform of the manager and related business'. Eighth, a reform plan in an institutional aspect can include the arrangement of the law and organization of the old and big tree management and preservation at an institutional aspect. This study for preparing a reform plan through the status survey of the designated old and big tree, has a limit inducing a reform plan based on the status survey through individual research, and a weak point suggesting grounds by any statistical data. This can be complemented by subsequent studies.

This study was conducted to develop the plant-mat for ecological restoration which was formed as the thin multi-layers of woven nets, soil media, seeds, etc. The experimental site was selected at a slope of 240$m^2$ at the rear of Design College of Sangmyung University and divided into 8 sub-experimental plots (20$m^2$ each) according to mat types. (forest-type and grass-type mats with and without seed attachment, respectively) Also, the existing vegetation plot and the no-treatment plot were included in this experiment for comparison. The experiment construction was conducted on September 3, 2002. Mat covered plots regardless of seed attachment showed nearly no signs of erosion even if rainy season in summer compared to the no-treatment plot. Vegetation monitoring result showed that germination rates were somewhat high in both forest and grass-type mats without seed attachment in the initial germination stage. Although germination rates of seed attached mats were somewhat slower than non-seed attached mats in the germination stage, but over time, it showed a good rooting and shooting environment for germinated tree and grass species because of soil media existence within the mat. This indicates that while non seed-attached mats require follow-up maintenance, seed-attached mats does not require maintenance after rooting and germination.

Urban transit is a complex system that is combined electrically and mechanically, it is necessary to construct maintenance system for securing safety accompanying high-speed driving and maintaining promptly. Expert system is a computer program which uses numerical or non-numerical domain-specific knowledge to solve problems. In this research, we intend to develop the expert system which diagnose failure causes quickly and display measures. For the development of expert system, standardization of failure code classification system and creation of BOM(Bill Of Materials) have been first performed. Through the analysis of failure history and maintenance manuals, knowledge base has been constructed. Also, for retrieving the procedure of failure diagnosis and repair linking with the knowledge base, we have built RBR(Rule Based Reasoning) engine by pattern matching technique and CBR(Case Based Reasoning) engine by similarity search method. This system has been developed based on web to maximize the accessibility.

In this paper, through the study and consideration of the recently prominent monitoring of cable stayed-bridge, practical but reasonable suggested for the evaluation of the probabilistic safety of the bridges using probable measured data from monitoring measurement system. It is shown in the paper that the live load effects can be evaluated using measured data of cable-stayed bridge and this the realistic probabilistic safety of the cable-stayed bridge could be assessed in term of element reliability and system reliability. As a practical method for the evalution of the system reliability of system cable-stayed bridges partial ETA method is uesd, which can find the critical failure path including combined failure modes of cable, deck and pylon. Compared with the conventional safety analysis method, the propsed approach may be considered as the practical method that shows the considerably actual and reasonable results the system redundancy of the structure.

The purpose of this study was to suggest, an ameliorated, 'standard of estimated unit manpower & material' in the Landscape Planting Work. To achieve this goal of this study, following process was performed to reach more advanced results. First, relevant domestic & foreign references were gathered & analyzed with a viewpoint of the system & contents within, Second, most similar foreign country‘s relevant 10 forms & actual site were surveyed, Third, actual site data were collected from the 17 selected landscape Planting sites Fourth, the collected data from reference study & actual site survey were analyzed and calculated. And Finally, analyzed data were reorganized & rearranged in good order with 3 principles to produce more ameliorated 'Standard of estimated unit manpower & material' in the landscape Planting Work. The suggested main results of this study include, 1. Reorganization of current system to transplanting(includes excavation & root ball wrapping), planting(includes tree & shrub), turfing & maintenance 2. Deletion of the Range of 'account of labor' & simultaneous distribution of 'account of labor' with a proposed regular ratio 3. Adjustment of the range of the plant's size 4. Amelioration of the level of 'Account of labor' 5. New establishment in maintenance items as Watering, Fertilizing & spraying chemicals on turf area. 6. Readjustment & new establishment of the backfill volume. 7. Actualization, readjustment & new establishment of the transportation amount.
Purpose: Tunneling is a periodontal surgical procedure that creates access for patient cleansing and maintenance within the furcal area of a molar tooth with severe furcation involvement. Up to date, there are few studies about a long term clinical and radiographic stability of tunneling. The purpose of this retrospective study is to evaluate the long term prognosis after tunnel preparation of molars with through and through furcation. Material and Methods: 25 teeth of 23 patients aged 36 to 70 (mean age 51.7) were treated surgically with tunnel preparation. These cases were followed for 2 to 13 years (mean 6.5years) after surgery. Patients were recalled for an evaluation which was based on a questionnaire, a clinical examination, and radiographic analysis. Clinical assessment included plaque index, caries registration, probing pocket depth, bleeding on probing, tooth mobility. Baseline and over 2-year follow-up radiographs were collected and evaluated for this study. Result: 3 teeth(12%) had been extracted and 1 tooth(4%) hemisected. Root caries was detected in 3 teeth(12%). Thus 72% of the teeth were still caries tree and in function. Clinical parameters including PI, PD, BOP, mobility showed somewhat favourable results. Radiographic furcal bone loss showed no statistically significant difference compared to interproximal crestal bone loss ($3.59{\pm}1.69%$ vs $3.42{\pm}2.95%$) when root length was used as reference. There was no correlation between root trunk length and furcal bone loss. Conclusion: Over 2 years after tunneling procedure, teeth showed a clinically and radiographically stable condition, despite of slight root caries and alveolar bone loss within clinically acceptable range. The tunnel procedure may be considered as a viable periodontal treatment option for molar teeth with severe furcation involvement in individuals following a regular maintenance program.
