Applying Quality Function Deployment in the Apparel Industry

  • Quality Function Deployment (QFD) is a product development tool used to ensure that the voice of the customer is heard and translated into products. This paper shows the applicability and usefulness of this product development tool in the apparel industry by developing an apparel example and taking it through the four matrices that encompass a QFD process.

A Study on the Change of Tourism Marketing Trends through Big Data

  • Recently, there has been an increasing trend in the role of social media in tourism marketing. We analyze changes in tourism marketing trends using tourism marketing keywords through social media networks. The aim is to understand marketing trends based on the analyzed data and effectively create, maintain, and manage customers, as well as efficiently supply tourism products. Data was collected using web data from platforms such as Naver, Google, and Daum through TexTom. The data collection period was set for one year, from December 1, 2022, to December 1, 2023. The collected data, after undergoing refinement, was analyzed as keyword networks based on frequency analysis results. Network visualization and CONCOR analysis were conducted using the Ucinet program. The top words in frequency were 'tourists,' 'promotion,' 'travel,' and 'research.' Clusters were categorized into four: tourism field, tourism products, marketing, and motivation for visits. Through this, it was confirmed that tourism marketing is being conducted in various tourism sectors such as MICE, medical tourism, and conventions. Utilizing digital marketing via online platforms, tourism products are promoted to tourists, and unique tourism products are developed to increase city branding and tourism demand through integrated tourism content. We identify trends in tourism marketing, providing tourists with a positive image and contributing to the activation of local tourism.

굴곡지형 안전주행시스템의 개발 (Development of Stable Traveling Systems for Stairs and Off-road)

  • This paper describes traveling systems consisting of one major-wheel and three minor-wheels attached to each tip of three spokes. A link of inter-axle plays an important role of the system. It connects secondary axle to the major wheel axle. Its length is determined to ascend stably various stairs. The systems was designed to mount a cart for carrying agricultural products. The systems was applied to ascend stairs, travel on sand and cross a obstacle, despite of simple design.

지정식 보관방식 창고시스템에서 보관위치 할당계획 (The Allocation Planning of Storage Location in a Dedicated Storage Method Warehuse System)

  • This paper addresses the allocation planning of the storage location in a warehouse system that the dedicated storage method is used. In the discrete finite time period model, the demands for storage location of products are dynamic for time periods. The planning is to determine the reallocation time period and the storage location of the products in reallocation time period, which minimizes costs. The cost factors are the reallocation cost, the travel cost within warehouse and the surplus storage location cost. A model is formulated, and the property of optimal solution is characterized. The dynamic programming algorithm is developed, and a numerical example is shown.

  • 본 연구는 소비자의 가치지각 측면별 이미지 차별화를 각 세분시장에 따라 검토함으로써 여행시장 전반의 경쟁력 제고 및 커뮤니케이션 전략의 효율성을 개선하는데 목적을 두고 있다. 계절적인 목적지 특성에 따라 우리나라 해외신혼여행객이 해외신혼여행목적지를 선택할 때 어떻게 차이가 있는지를 분석하고자 하였다. 본 논문에서는 다차원 척도법을 적용하여 7개의 여행지(괌/사이판, 호주/뉴질랜드, 중국, 일본, 하와이, 태국, 유럽)를 중심으로 여행을 경험하였거나 신혼여행을 계획하고 있는 사람들을 대상으로 하였으며, 분석결과 목적지별로 계절에 따라 지각도의 위치가 달라지는 것을 확인하였다. 본 논문의 공간상에 지각측면을 시각화한 연구 결과를 통해 해외신혼 여행지 시장전반에 걸친 경쟁력 제고 및 목적지별 다양한 전략적 시사점은 여행기업 내의 가능한 대체전략을 수립하는 기초자료를 제공할 수 있을 것이다.

관광가이드의 긍정심리자본 요인이 직무만족 및 조직몰입에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Impact Positive Psychological Capital of Tour Guides on Job Satisfaction and Organizational Commitment )

  • Purpose - The purpose of this study is to identify the influence relationship between positive psychological capital, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment of tourism guides, and to provide implications through empirical research to increase the capabilities of tourism guides that are a factor in the performance of planned travel products Design/methodology/approach - This study conducted an empirical survey using the google online questionnaire. It was directly surveyed, distributed, and collected from workers who were or were performing tourism guide duties in Asia and Europe, and 203 questionnaires were used for analysis. The empirical survey was conducted in a self-written manner through a simple random sampling method, and the statistical package was conducted with frequency analysis, factor analysis, multiple regression analysis, and correlation analysis using the spss 21.0 program. Findings - First, among the positive psychological capital factors, two factors, hope and optimism, have a significant positive (+) effect on job satisfaction. Second, among the positive psychological capital factors, two factors, self-efficacy and optimism, have a significant positive (+) effect on organizational commitment. Third, job satisfaction has a significant positive (+) effect on organizational commitment Research implications or Originality - The implications of this study are that the research results have had a positive (+) effect on the variables of positive psychological capital, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment of tourism guides, and have laid the foundation for academic research on research topics. In practice, it is expected to increase the positive psychological capital of tourism guides and have a significant impact on the organization's performance by actively supporting and supporting individuals related to the sustainable growth of travel products.

옵아트(Op-Art) 패턴의 여행용 패션가방 디자인 연구 -빅토르 바자렐리(Victor Vasarely)의 작품 응용을 중심으로- (A Study on the Travel Fashion Bag Design Using the Op-Art Textile Patterns -Applying the Artwork of Victor Vasarely-)

  • This study with 'trip' as a theme, aims to develop textile designs and fashion bags for travel which is widely applicable fitting traveler's T P O, applying Victor Vasarely's artwork. During the planning process of design, 'Whenever & Wherever's concept was set by analyzing fashion trend information in 2010-11 F/W proposed by Interfashion Planning and FCK; in addition, 'Bobos' were selected as research targets. It organized 4 images of 'Modern', 'Romantic', 'Classic' and 'Fantastic'. The motives are proposed textile design with '$Cross^2$', 'Falling Z', 'Cir-Classicism' and 'Skinny-holic' per each theme. The designs developed were printed out and into polyester canvas with a Polaris V6 DTP from dgen, Corp. Textile designs developed were applied for 'two-way' formed fashion bags for traveling with high practicality. Fashion bags for traveling consisted of big bags, tote bags, and hip sacks; a total of 12 works (4 sets per theme) were produced. This study sought practical plans for artworks by producing fashion goods through a DTP system. The results of this study can be used as guidelines for further studies and as a significant contribution to the creation of high values for exciting fashion products.

Ilmenite계(系) 아아크용접봉(鎔接棒)의 Penetration에 관(關)한 실험적(實驗的) 연구(硏究) (An Experimental Study on the Penetration of Ilmenite System Coated Arc Welding Electrodes)

  • Penetrations of arc welding electrades are different by changing welding conditions, welding speed of travel and current, even though quite same ones. Changing status of penetration is studied by changing welding speed of travel keeping welding current constant, at first, and by changing welding current keeping welding speed of travel which was obtained prior experiment constant, afterward. The F-100 4mm $\phi$ rods, E4301 class, which covering substance is mainly ilmenite and a domestic representative product of this class electrode, are used for this experiment. The Marquette's No.130 5/32"(4mm)$\phi$ rods, E6011 class, and No. 140 5/32"(4mm)$\phi$, E6013 class, which were produced in the United Stated, are used to compare penetration with F-100 at same welding conditions. The covering substance of Marquette's No. 130 rods is mainly cellulose, and belong to deep penetration arc welding electrodes, the covering material of another rods is titania, and a kind f shallow penetration rods. The result of this study is as follow : penetration of F-100, domestic ilmentite covering electrade, E4301 class, is between E6011 and E6013 of the United States products. At the lower range of welding current, penetration is closer to E6013 than E6011, at the higher range, closer to E6011 than another; and the value of penetration ranges $1.65{\sim}2.70mm$ for 4mm$\phi$ rods in the adequate current range. The changing status of penetration is showed by following experimental formula. $P=KE_v^{-\frac{2}{5}}1^{\frac{3}{2}}$

가속도 센서를 이용한 이동거리 측정 시스템 (Moving Distance Measurement System using a Accelerometer Sensor)

  • 본 연구에서는 정확한 운동량 측정을 위하여 가속도 센서, MCU, 그리고 블루투스를 이용한 운동량 측정 시스템을 제안한다. 이러한 시스템은 실시간 무선으로 이동거리 정보를 정확하게 측정할 수 있다. 제작한 운동량 측정 시스템을 이용하여 다양한 모의실험을 하였고, 그 결과를 분석하였다. 분석한 결과를 기성품과 신뢰성 및 정확도에 측면에서 비교를 하였다. 본 연구에서 제안하는 시스템은 13% 정도의 이동거리 오차를 가지는 기성품에 비해 8%이하의 우수한 오차를 보였다. 이러한 시스템은 소형화되어 기성품에 적용되리라 기대한다.

Development of Tourism Information Named Entity Recognition Datasets for the Fine-tune KoBERT-CRF Model

  • A smart tourism chatbot is needed as a user interface to efficiently provide smart tourism services such as recommended travel products, tourist information, my travel itinerary, and tour guide service to tourists. We have been developed a smart tourism app and a smart tourism information system that provide smart tourism services to tourists. We also developed a smart tourism chatbot service consisting of khaiii morpheme analyzer, rule-based intention classification, and tourism information knowledge base using Neo4j graph database. In this paper, we develop the Korean and English smart tourism Name Entity (NE) datasets required for the development of the NER model using the pre-trained language models (PLMs) for the smart tourism chatbot system. We create the tourism information NER datasets by collecting source data through smart tourism app, visitJeju web of Jeju Tourism Organization (JTO), and web search, and preprocessing it using Korean and English tourism information Name Entity dictionaries. We perform training on the KoBERT-CRF NER model using the developed Korean and English tourism information NER datasets. The weight-averaged precision, recall, and f1 scores are 0.94, 0.92 and 0.94 on Korean and English tourism information NER datasets.
