디젤기관의 성능과 배기관 특성에 의한 필터트랩의 열재생에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on Thermal Regeneration of Filter Trap by Diesel Engine Performance and Characteristics of Exhaust Pipe)

  • The exhaust emissions from diesel vehicle are known to be harmful to human health and environment. Recently, one of the most environment problems is particulate matter. In this study, through the actual exper iment and heat transfer of exhaust pipe in light duty diesel engine equipped with the ceramic filter trap of throttling type, following results are obtained. 1. In case of light duty diesel engine equipped with ceramic filter trap of throttling type, Power and torque of engine were decreased about 5%, compared with the case without trap system. It means that was not so much effect on base engine performance.2. If the length of exhaust pipe when equipping with ceramic filter trap is suitably controlled, the range of regeneration will be expand much more.3. Particulate matter reduction efficiency of ceramic filter trap system was about 70%-80%, so it was proved a good system to reduce particulate matter.In experiment, test was conducted to estimate engine emission in 2,476cc light duty diesel engine which was equipped with ceramic filter trap.

  • This paper presents the output filter design and the output characteristic analysis by cut-off frequency set up of the LCR filter on NPC multi-level inverter with trap-filter. The single-phase NPC three-level inverter operates at low switching frequency. The proposed LC trap filter is comprised of a conventional LCR output filter, by using LC trap filter the need for high damping resistor and low LC cut-off frequency is eliminated. Also. low damping resistor is increased the output filter system. The multilevel inverter system used NPC type inverter in proper system for high power application and controller is used DSP(TMS320C31). The effectiveness of proposed system confirmed the validity through SPICE simulation and experimental results.

  • Purge & Trap-GC/MS 전처리 방법과 capillary column gas chromatography/ mass spectrometry 분석법을 이용한 휘발성유기물 분석에 있어서, 보다 효울적으로 시료를 주입하는 방법에 대하여 연구하였다. 미국환경청에서 제시한 물 중의 휘발성 유기물 분석방법에서 이용하는 moisture control nodule 과 cryorefocusing에 따르는 여러가지 문제점을 관찰하였다. 이러한 무제점을 해결하기 위해 개선된 시료 주입방식을 제시하고, 여러가지 트랩과 컬럼의 특성을 조사하여 최적 실험조건을 구하였다. 이때 사용한 Purge & Trap 장치의 트랩은 carbopack B/carboxen 1000과 1001이었으며, 기체 크로마토그라프의 컬럼은 주문 제작한 dimethyldiphenylpolysiloxane crosslingking moiety capillary 컬럼을 사용하였다. 본 연구에서 제시한 방법으로 물 중에 포함된 54종의 휘발성유기물을 대상으로 동시분석할 때의 정확도와 정밀도에 대해 조사하였으며, 각 화합물에 대한 method detection limit를 구하였다.

Simple Self Trap Cropping System to Control Tukra Mealy Bug (Maconellicoccus hirsutus Green) Incidence on Mulberry (Morus spp.)

  • A field study on self trap cropping system in controlling tukra mealy bug Maconellicoccus hirsutus Green) incidence on mulberry (Morus spp.; V-1 variety; $3'{\times}3'$ spacing) gardens was undertaken in selected sericulture farmers' mulberry gardens of Pydeti village (Parigi Mandal, Anantapur District, Andhra Pradesh, India). The study was conducted for three years (2004, 2005 and 2006). Four treatments (T0; control/no treatment, T1; self trap cropping rows with 10 row interval, T2; self trap cropping rows with 10 row interval and treating these rows only with 0.5% neem oil emulsion and T3; self trap cropping rows with 10 rows intervals and treating all the mulberry rows including self trap cropping rows with 0.5% neem oil emulsion) were considered. The results indicated that the incidence increased in T0 and T1 while the same suppressed in T2 and T3. The suppression (%) of tukra incidence between T2 and T3 was not significant. Hence, T2 only was recommended to farmers as its economical viable practice. The results are discussed based on the importance of tukra, its suppression and cost of treatment.

  • We designed and developed the burner which would be adapted on the burner type diesel particulate trap system. The burner type particulate trap system consists of burner system to regenerate to ceramic filter, ceramic filter canister, system controller and etc. Many design factors which affect the performance of the burner system were discussed. We also investigated burner characteristics according to the operating parameters. Burned gas temperature could be controlled better by the 2nd air flow rate than the 1st one. As the space velocity increases, the axial and radial temperature gradients in the filter decreases.

스팀 트랩 바이메탈 밸브의 열 구조해석 (Thermal Structural Analysis of Steam Trap Bimetal Valve)

  • In this study, structural thermal analyses for steam trap valve considering contact boundary condition have been conducted for high temperature and pressure conditions using nonlinear finite element method. Full steam trap model also including regulator and housing structures is considered in order to accurately simulate the complex valve mechanism and investigate thermal stress levels, and structural behaviors of core structural parts. It is typically shown that the present computational approach can give very useful results for design engineers so that the operating performance and structural safety of the steam trap valve can be verified in the design process.

다상모델을 이용한 탁도계 버블트랩 내부 유동장에 관한 고찰 (A Study on the Flow Fields of Bubble Trap of Turbidimeter Using the Multiphase Model)

  • The objectives of this study are to examine a bubble trap mechanism of the turbidimeter for low turbidity and to acquire it's technology concerned. Reynolds-Averaged Wavier-Stokes equation and Laglangian discrete phase model were applied to analyze a flow field in the bubble trap. 3D hybrid grid system was used to simulate the flow field of bubble trap and numbers of it's node point are about 110,000. From the comparison between the standard $k-{\varepsilon}$ model and the laminar state, it was found that the former estimated less the velocity in the outlet of bubble trap than the latter did, and that the former estimated more the shear stress at the wall of bubble trap than the latter did. And, it was possible to visualize the path of bubbles in the bubble trap and to copy the removal process of bubbles out bubble trap. Also, it was found that nearly most of bubbles in the bubble trap disappeared.

동해안 울진해역 원통형과 장구형 고둥통발의 혼획 및 투기 실태 (Bycatch and discards of the whelk trap in the Uljin waters, East Sea)

  • Experiment was set up to analyze bycatch and discards situation including snow crap Chionoecetes opilio of whelk trap. Four types of trap were used: drum type trap with PE net; drum type trap with PBS net; cylinder type trap with PE net; and cylinder type net with PBS net. Three funnels were attached in drum type trap and two funnels were used in cylinder type trap. A fleet of traps was consisted with one hundred traps. 25 traps of each type were set on a line in repeated sequence. Field experiments were conducted with 6 fishing operations in the Uljin waters, East Sea in July 2014. Catch of target whelks were 173,261 g and catch rate was 48.7% of total catch, while bycatch were 182,571 g, 51.3% of tatal catch. The catch rate of bycatch was 2.6% higher than that of target catch. Bycatch weight of snow crap was the highest as 142,987 g and formed about 40.2% of total catch, followed giant octopus, Enteroctopus dofleini, 31,762 g (8.9%). Bycatch rate of cylinder type trap was 2.3 times higher than that of drum type trap. Discard rate (discard/(discard+landing)) was 43.6%. Discard rate was the highest at cylinder type trap with PBS net as 63.1%, followed cylinder type trap with PE net as 47.9%, drum type trap with PE net as 33.4%, the lowest at drum type trap with PBS net as 22.1%.

AIT: A method for operating system kernel function call graph generation with a virtualization technique

  • Operating system (OS) kernel function call graphs have been widely used in OS analysis and defense. However, most existing methods and tools for generating function call graphs are designed for application programs, and cannot be used for generating OS kernel function call graphs. This paper proposes a virtualization-based call graph generation method called Acquire in Trap (AIT). When target kernel functions are called, AIT dynamically initiates a system trap with the help of a virtualization technique. It then analyzes and records the calling relationships for trap handling by traversing the kernel stacks and the code space. Our experimental results show that the proposed method is feasible for both Linux and Windows OSs, including 32 and 64-bit versions, with high recall and precision rates. AIT is independent of the source code, compiler and OS kernel architecture, and is a universal method for generating OS kernel function call graphs.

스프링식 붕장어그물통발의 어획성능에 미치는 입구크기의 영향 (The effect of the entrance size on the catch of trap for conger eel)

  • Recently, Fishermen have required to expand the circumference of trap entrance for conger eel because it was difficult to take the catch out as well as to put the baits into. A series of fishing experiments was carried out in coastal areas of Tongyoung, Korea in 2008 and 2009 using the traps to describe the effect of the entrance size on the catch. The experimental traps (five types) were used in filed experiments with four types circumference size traps (140, 180, 220 and 260mm) with mesh size 22mm and another type was used the same one usually using in filed with mesh size 35mm (750mm circumference). The experiment results were, the conger eels of total length 35mm more or so were caught 85, 93, 142 and 176 individual by the experiment traps with mesh size 22mm as increase circumference size from 140mm to 260mm, respectively. And the small conger eels of the total length below 35mm to be prohibited to catch by law were caught 145, 160, 288 and 304 individual according to increase the circumference size of trap, respectively. In addition, in case of the trap with mesh size 22mm, bycatches were 230 - 260 individuals and much more than bycatches of the trap with mesh size 35mm. In conclusion, when we expand the circumference size of trap according to fishermen's requirement, we should review not only economic of fishery but also increasement the bycatch of non-target fishes and small size fishes.
