In Postal logistics, the efficient design and operation of transportation network is very important issue. But, it is hard to operate the postal transportation network flexibly according to the change of mail volume. In Korea post, a transportation plan is pre-determined and the transportation of mail is performed through the routes in the plan. When the routes cannot transport all mail, temporary vehicles are used. In the postal transportation, it is important to make a good transportation plan and to manage the plan efficiently. But the change of transportation plan is not a simple work because hundreds of vehicles and persons are related to the plan. So, a methodology to check the effect of the change of the transportation plan in advance is required. In this paper, we develop a simulation model to evaluate the performance of a postal transportation plan. We implement the simulation model and develop an information system including user interface for managing data and simulation results. We apply our simulation model and system to the real change of transportation plan.

교통 계획 및 정책수립 등 교통관련 업무에서 가장 중요한 부문은 교통수요분석과정이며, 이러한 교통수요분석과정에서 필수적으로 요구되는 자료는 OD와 네트워크이다. 그 과정에서 OD와 네트워크는 상호영향(interactive)을 주면서 검증을 거치긴 하나 이중에서도 네트워크의 경우에는 현실 세계를 모델링하여 반영한 것이므로 분석기준 년도에 대응되는 현재성과 정확성과 객관성을 보유하고 있어야 한다. 그러나 몇몇 교통수요 분석과정에서 예산 및 시간의 제약으로 인해서 네트워크는 실세계의 교통망을 많은 부분을 단순화시켜서 구축하고 이를 분석과정에 이용하는 경우가 있다 또한 일단, 구축된 네트워크에 대해서 변경되는 교통망을 반영하기 위해서나 분석자의 의도에 따라서 네트워크를 수정, 편집할 때에 그 작업이 불편하여 많은 인력이나 시간이 소요되는 것이 현실이다. 이를 위하여 교통개발연구원 국가교통DB센터에서는 국가교통DB구축사업의 일환으로 구축한 교통 수치지도를 이용하여 교통분석 목적의 패키지에서 직접 이용할 수 있는 네트워크를 추출/변환하는 소프트웨어를 개발하였다. 본 논문의 목적은 GIS에 기반한 교통수치지도로부터 교통분석용 네트워크로의 변환이 가능한 알고리즘 및 소프트웨어를 소개하여 향후 이런 종류의 연구수행에 도움을 주는데 있다.

Since the transportation cost takes about two thirds of the logistics cost of Korean firms, significant reduction of business logistics cost can hardly be achieved without effectively reducing the transportation cost. Although consolidated transportation has been regarded as the most promising strategy for reducing the transportation cost, it has not been successful in practice. In this paper we consider a consolidated transportation for the factories located in a limited area such as industrial complexes, where loads of various volume and weight are consolidated. We want to group the loads to assign to a truck of various size such that the total transportation cost is minimized, while the maximum volume constraint and weight constraint of each truck are satisfied. We suggest four heuristic algorithms to efficiently determine the groups of loads; and conduct a computer simulation to evaluate the performances of the algorithms.

The ROK TRANSCOM and Army Logistics Command have established wartime overland transportation plans. They have to mobilize several wartime overland transportation troops in order to meet the wartime transportation requirement. But there are some uncertainties in the process of transportation such as the number of vehicles to mobilize, the vehicle utilization factor, and round trip time. Here, we established two models. One is the simulation model to evaluate the transportation capability considering uncertain factors. The simulation model is executed with two scenarios and then the results are analyzed through a sensitivity analysis. The other model is the regression model to analyze the effects of transportation factors toward capability.

In this paper, the converter and traction system of 8200 electric locomotive is modeled using matlab simulation module. And the characteristic was analyzed through simulation of the combined system of converter and inverter for controling 8200 electric locomotive. The validity of the simulation was proved through performing unit power factor control of converter and speed control of inverter.

최근 교통안전과 공공보건에 대한 관심이 증대됨에 따라 친환경 교통시스템의 설계 및 구축의 필요성도 높아지고 있다. 교통의 패러다임 변화 및 환경성 관심의 증대로 공공보건 및 교통안전 증진을 위한 교통관리전략이 요구됨에 따라 본 연구에서는 이를 평가할 수 있는 시뮬레이션 연계기반의 평가방법론을 개발하는 연구를 수행하였다. 이를 위해 교통시뮬레이션 및 환경시뮬레이션을 연계하여 교통관리전략의 효과를 미시적 및 거시적 관점으로 통합평가 할 수 있는 분석 툴과 절차를 제시하였다. 본 연구에서 제안하는 방법론을 교통정온화기법을 바탕으로 하는 속도관리전략의 효과를 평가하는데 적용하여 분석사례를 제시하였다. 분석결과 시케인을 적용한 시나리오가 종합적으로 기존 미설치의 경우보다 우수한 것으로 도출되어 기존의 교통환경을 개선할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다. 따라서 무분별한 과속방지턱 보다는 효과적인 속도감속유도를 위한 타 시설을 고려할 필요가 있다. 본 연구의 결과는 공공보건 및 교통안전 등 다양한 요소를 고려한 교통관리전략 수립 시 정책결정자의 의사결정을 효과적으로 지원할 것으로 판단된다.

Recently, in order to stay at predominance in the global infinity competition, most of companies have been reducing the cost in many fields of industry First of all, the reduction of the logistics cost have been recognized greatly as the company value rises. But, the current situation of domestic logistics cost is very weak compared with Japan, U.S.A., etc. A rate of logistics cost out of GDP is still high compared with the competitors. The reduction of the transportation cost from overall logistics cost is most urgent subject. One of the methods to make a domestic transportation system efficient is the consolidation. In this paper. we try to compare the consolidated transportation model for a cost reduction with individual case. We also analyze the efficiency of consolidated transportation using simulation program with Arena of System Modeling Company.

철도교통사업의 계획 및 시행 가능 여부를 판단 하는 데 있어, 다양한 의사결정 과정이 필수적으로 요구되며, 그 결과로 총사업비, 운영비 등을 포함한 LCC(Life Cycle Cost) 값을 예측한다. 본 연구에서는 철도교통사업 의사결정 및 LCC 도출과정을 지원하기 위한 모델링 및 시뮬레이션 기반의 분석 방식을 제안한다. 먼저, 수치적 데이터 기반의 분석이 가능하도록 기존 다양한 철도교통사업 자료를 취합하여 Cost Analysis 모델을 구성하였으며, 실험계획법 및 반응표면법 기반의 근사모델링 기법을 통해 시뮬레이션을 수행, 결과를 도출하여 분석하였다. 모델 구성 및 시뮬레이션을 효과적으로 수행하기 위해 전문적인 상용 소프트웨어 도구를 사용하였다. 연구 결과 검증을 위해 실제 추진되고 있는 철도교통사업을 선정하여 분석결과를 비교하였고, 이를 각 분야 전문가 검증 과정을 거쳐 연구 성과의 신뢰성을 검토하였다.
