In this paper, a demultiplexer for MPEG-2 Transport Stream which can be applied to terrestrial digital broadcast is developed. The demultiplexer separates video, audio, and data from MPEG-2 multimedia stream and transports them to each decoders respectively. While most existing demultiplexers of MPEG-2 transport stream have been developed as hardware systems, but the fast increment of computer's performance enables a software demultiplexer to be worked in realtime. The developed demultiplexer is implemented as a software module called a filter using DirectShow of Microsoft which is based on COM(Component Object Model)and works on the Windows system. The operation of the demultiplexer is verified by using the GraphEdit tool and rendering a test file formatted as MPEG-2 transport stream.
IPTV Content delivery systems over wired networks confront scalability problems due to their high network bandwidth requirement for real-time services. Especially, VoD service provides Trick Mode features such as pause, fast forward and similar operations. However, Trick Mode services are delivered by the method of unicast only for controlling of the stream. With a point of views, this paper propose a new real-time multimedia streaming architecture over IP Networks, which tries to achieve bandwidth efficiency and supporting for mass clients better than traditional unicast services. The proposed methods divide the Transport Stream into a series of segments. After that, this divided partial Transport Stream makes multicast streaming periodically. Meanwhile Set-top Box of a client makes a rearrangement orderly by using Presentation Time Stamp field from the served Transport Stream packets. While the current Transport Stream segment is playing, it should be guaranteed that the next segment is downloaded on time. Consequently, the original video content can be played out continuously. The detail introduction of a new real-time multimedia streaming system with analysis and simulation follows as below.

Wire, wireless digital broadcasting has sharply expanded with the birth of high definition TV since 2010, the use of duplex contents as well as simplex contents has rapidly increased. Currently, our satellite communications system adopted DVB by European digital broadcasting standardization organization as a standard of domestic data broadcasting, the method how to use selective contents has been studied variously according to the development of IPTV. Digital broadcasting utilizes the method using Transport Stream Packet(TSP) by the way of multiplexing of information in order to send multimedia information such as video, audio and data of MPEG-2, this streams include detail information on TV guide and program as well as video and audio information. In order to understand these data broadcasting system, this study realized TS analyzer that divides transport stream (TS) by packet in Linux environment, analyzes and prints by function, it can help the understanding of TS, the enhancement of stream parsing ability.
STREAM - a lattice transport calculation code with method of characteristics for the purpose of light water reactor analysis - has been developed by the Computational Reactor Physics and Experiment laboratory (CORE) of the Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology (UNIST). Recently, efforts have been taken to develop a photon module in STREAM to assess photon heating and the influence of gamma photon transport on power distributions, as only neutron transport was considered in previous STREAM versions. A multi-group photon library is produced for STREAM based on the ENDF/B-VII.1 library with the use of the library-processing code NJOY. The developed photon solver for the computation of 2D and 3D distributions of photon flux and energy deposition is based on the method of characteristics like the neutron solver. The photon library and photon module produced and implemented for STREAM are verified on VERA pin and assembly problems by comparison with the Monte Carlo code MCS - also developed at UNIST. A short analysis of the impact of photon transport during depletion and thermal hydraulics feedback is presented for a 2D core also from the VERA benchmark.
Current Internet and Intranet developments are focusing on network multimedia services involving the transport of real-time multimedia streams. In this paper, we present a real-time MPEG2 Encoding/Decoding systems and a MPEG2 stream player running on client systems based on real-time transport protocol(RTP). The MPEG2 player has been implemented by using JMF and java applet. We have tested our prototype systems with one of possible multimedia sources, camcoder, to verify its functional correctness and measure its performance.
STREAM, developed by the Computational Reactor Physics and Experiment laboratory (CORE) of the Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology (UNIST), is a deterministic neutron- and photon-transport code primarily designed for light water reactor (LWR) analysis. Initially, the photon module in STREAM did not account for fluorescence and bremsstrahlung photons. This article presents recent developments regarding the integration of atomic relaxation and bremsstrahlung models into the existing photon module, thus allowing for the transport of secondary photons. The photon flux and photon heating computed with the newly incorporated models is compared to results obtained with the Monte Carlo code MCS. The incorporation of secondary photons has substantially improved the accuracy of photon flux calculations, particularly in scenarios involving strong gamma emitters. However, it is essential to note that despite the consideration of secondary photon sources, there is no noticeable improvement in the photon heating for LWR problems when compared to the photon heating obtained with the previous version of STREAM.
The movement of sediments in the stream crossing a large industrial complex to the mouth of Masan Bay was monitored for eight years. Sediment samples were seasonally collected in the period of $1992{\sim}1997$ and $2001{\sim}2002$. The heavy metal content of sediment was found to be higher at dry season with the peak on February and significantly decreased at rainy season. Metals content in stream sediments were rapidly decreased by large precipitation events in rainy season because the contaminants in the upstream sediments were transported to the dredged area of Masan Bay where is a typical enclosed bay in Korea. The increasing and decreasing tendency of heavy metals in sediment was repeatedly observed for six consecutive years. The heavy metals assessment of stream sediment provide us the information about the pollutant source, transport pattern and control strategy along the industrial complex. It was strongly suggested that the transportable stream sediments of an industrial area should be controlled as one of the important strategies to restore and manage the enclosed bay. Combined wastewaters have been collected and treated in a publicly owned treatment works (POTW) after industrial wastewater treatment at each location of industries since 1994. A field study was conducted to investigate the pollutant removal efficiency and performance of contact oxidation system installed and operated in two locations in the stream. The stream sediment quality was improved since then, and as a consequence the habitat of the estuary has been restored.
The input of digital TV software is the Transport Stream, which utilizes the moving picture compression technique, MPEC-2 (Moving Picture Experts Groups-2). MPEG-2 TS consists of the complicated table hierarchy and internal relationships, as well as the various restrictions with regards to system standard of digital TV software in determining the field values of transport stream. However, the general MPEG-2 TS generation tool produces transport streams solely based on the MPEG-2 TS specification itself, and does not consider the interaction between modulo features or modules themselves, which construct digital TV software. In this paper, we propose a method to systematically generate MPEG-2 TS test data, namely‘Test Stream’, for digital TV software. We present the experiment result where the test stream derived from our developed tool according to the proposed method was applied to the actual digital TV software settop-box, and then analyze the result. Apart from other existing MPEG-2 TS generation tools, the advantage of our method is that not only is it capable of generating various levels of test streams including digital TV software module, integration, and system testing, but also detecting errors and analyzing their causes.

In general, there is discontinuity phenomenon like a black screen and an irregular sound for repeated play of a finite digital stream. In this paper, for repeated play we analyze the relation between source and stream time causes this phenomenon. We obtain the time relation between video frame rate, audio frame rate, and TS packet transmission rate to eliminate this phenomenon. Using this time relation, we propose a new generation method of elementary stream (ES) and transport stream (TS) to eliminate discontinuity phenomenon. The test results of the generate ES and TS using the proposed method show that the discontinuity phenomenon can be eliminated for repeated play of a finite proposed stream.
