  • 인간의 시각정보처리는 망막에서 입력된 영상을 시각피질에 전달될 때 많은 특성을 가지고 있다. 그중에서 방향성에 대한 민감한 반응을 분석하여 영상인식에 미치는 영향을 분석하고자 한다. 수직반응의 가중치와 수평 및 대각선반응의 가중치를 여러 가지로 변동하여 영상의 인식률을 비교함으로써 수직반응 정도에 매우 민감함을 보이며 차후 인간시각모델 구성에 적용하고자 한다.

  • Polymer modified cement mortar (PCM) is commonly used as a repair material. However, in high-temperature environments such as fire, it is more likely to explode than cement mortar. The polymer is thermally decomposed at a high temperature to form a gas, and the gas remaining inside the structure increases the internal pressure to generate a burst. When an spalling occurs, the coating is peeled off and dropped, and high temperature is transmitted to the inside of the structure. In severe cases, even the reinforcing bar is exposed, which can lead to the collapse of the structural member due to severe loss of strength. In this study, in order to reduce spalling of PCM, a fiber mixing method was selected from the refractory method to find an appropriate blending ratio of fibers and polymers.

하악 편측 유리단 국소의치의 직접유지장치 형태에 따른 3차원적 광탄성 응력분석 연구 (THREE-DIMENSIONAL PHOTOELATIC STRESS ANALYSIS OF CLASP RETAINERS INFLUENCED BY VARIOUS DESIGNS ON UNILATERAL FREE-END REMOVABLE PARTIAL DENTURES)

  • The extent and direction of movement of removable partial dentures during function are influenced by the nature of the supporting structures and and the design of the prosthesis. Since forces are transmitted to the abutment teeth through occlusal rests, guide planes and direct retainers during functional movements, proper design based on the avaialble research data will maintain the health of abutment teeth and their supporting structures. The purpose of this in vitro study is evaluating stress distribution clinically around the abutment teeth prepared following 4-type clasping systems for unilateral free-end removable partial dentures. Three-Dimensional Photoelastic Stress Analysis method was used because it shows a visual display of stresses of the simulated abutment teeth and residual ridges and reveals stress concentration that can be read at any given points in terms of direction and magnitude. For this study, the author fabricated 4 mandibular photoelastic epoxy models missing left 1st and End molar. Epoxy models were duplicated and 4 unilateral removable partial dentures were construe- ted in accordance with 4-type direct retainers. Unilateral free-end removable partial dentures were positioned on their own models. 6kg force was loaded on the every removable partial dentures of the epoxy model on the central fossa of mandibular left 1st molar vertically by the loading device. After the stress was frozen in a stress freezing furnace, 6 specimens of 6-mm thickness were made from every epoxy model and examined with the circular polariscope. The results were as follows : 1. Generally I-bar clasp revealed the most favorable stress distribution around the abutment teeth. 2. At the end portion of the free-end ridge, Back action clasp showed the highest stress concentration at the bucco-lingual and top portions of the residual alveolar ridge. 3. At the distal area of the abutment teeth, Akers clasp and Roach clasp showed higher stress concentration bucco-lingually and apically than the others. 4. To the abutment tooth, I-bar clasp showed the least stress distribution bucco-lingually but the others showed irregular stress distribution. 5. At the mesial area of the abutment teeth, the order of effective stress distribution was I-bar clasp, Back-action clasp, Akers clasp and Roach clasp. There was big difference of stress distribution between them. 6. At the right 2nd premolar and 1st molar, the stress concentration of Akers clasp was a little high but that of I-bar clasp was low.

불탑의 의미와 어원 (A Meaning and Origin of the Stupa)

  • Buddhism that has arisen in India began to build the Stupa to enshrine body and Sari of Buddha as an object of worship. The stupa existed as a tome of holy leaders even before the birth of Buddha, which was called stupa or tupa in the Sanskrit and the Pali, the ancient language of India. The stupa was renamed accordingly in each Buddhism transmitted countries such as Ceylon, Tibet, Nepal, Myanmar, Thailand and China and also reshaped according to their own formative style. But its original meaning and type are kept unchanged. The stupa was established in the 4 holy places including the birth place of Buddha, the place where Buddha found enlightenment, the place where Buddha preached for the first time, and the place where Buddha died. Thus, a pagoda to commemorate holy ancient places is called Chaitya, which became differentiated from the stupa in which Sari is enshrined. The stupa means Nirvana, the eternal body of Buddha, and also a place filled with teaching and preaching of Buddhism. It signifies the symbol of Buddha who escaped from the death and rebirth, to achieve complete extinction, i.e. parinirvana, and to reach ultimate eternal world, rather than simply means death. During the non-statue of th Buddha period, people built the stupa to embody Nirvana of the Buddha, and worshipped the tomb where body of holy saints was enshrined. On the other hand, they also sanctified memorial things such as tools that holy saints used, the Bo tree under which one achieved Nirvana, Dharma cakra that implied words, footprint that carried out mission work, and a way to reach to heaven.

밸런스 바가 장착된 레이싱 스펙 브레이크 페달의 경량화 구조 해석을 통한 융합연구 (A Convergence Study through Structural Analysis for Lightweight of Brake Pedal for Racing Spec Installed with Balance Bar)

  • 본 연구에서는 4가지 모델의 밸런스 바가 장착되어 있는 레이싱 스펙의 브레이크 페달에 대한 경량화 구조해석을 수행하였다. 강과 알루미늄 합금 2개의 소재를 이용하여 4개의 형상들에 대하여 해석을 진행하였다. 일반적으로 사람이 자동차에 승차했을 때 발생할 수 있는 힘의 크기를 1000N이라 가정한다. 고정점은 볼트와 페달이 고정되는 부분과 마스터실린더의 압력이 상승해 작동이 멈추었을 때 Rod를 통하여 전달되는 응력을 받는 밸런스 바 장착 부분으로 지정하였다. 본 해석 연구를 통하여 각 브레이크 페달 모델의 취약점을 조사하고 브레이크 페달의 전달 효율성을 경량화에 의하여 증가할 수 있다고 사료된다. 본 연구결과를 토대로 얻은 브레이크 페달의 내구성 있는 설계데이터를 활용함으로서 실생활에서의 자동차 부품에 융합하여 그 미적 감각을 나타낼 수 있다.

  • 인간의 시각정보처리는 망막에서 입력된 영상을 시각피질에 전달될 때 많은 특성을 가지고 있다. 그 중에서 확대성질과 방향성에 대한 민감도를 분석하여 영상인식에 미치는 영향을 분석하고자 한다. 확대성질은 중심와의 영역이 시각피질에서 확대영역으로 할당되는 사실을 확대배율이라고 부른다. 방향수직반응의 가중치와 수평 및 대각선반응의 가중치를 여러 가지로 변동하여 영상의 인식률을 비교함으로써 수직반응 정도에 매우 민감함을 보이며 차후 인간시각모델 구성에 적용하고자 한다.

A total strain-based hysteretic material model for reinforced concrete structures: theory and verifications

  • In this paper, a total strain-based hysteretic material model based on MCFT is proposed for non-linear finite element analysis of reinforced concrete structures. Although many concrete models have been proposed for simulating behavior of structures under cyclic loading conditions, accurate simulations remain challenging due to uncertainties in materials, pitfalls of crude assumptions of existing models, and limited understanding of failure mechanisms. The proposed model is equipped with a fully generalized hysteresis rule and is formulated for 2D plane stress non-linear finite element analysis. The proposed model has been formulated in a tangent stiffness-based finite element scheme so that it can be used for most general finite element analysis packages. Moreover, it eliminates the need to check that tensile stresses can be transmitted across a crack. The tension stiffening model is a function of the bar orientation and any orientation can be accommodated. The proposed model has been verified with a series of experimental results of 2D RC planar panels. This study also demonstrates how parameters of the proposed model associated with cyclic damage modeling influences the pinched cyclic shear behavior.

대면적 Multi busbar 모듈 전력 손실 저감을 위한 태양전지 설계 (Solar Cell Design for Large Area Multi Busbar Module Power Loss Reduction)

  • Solar energy had become the main energy industry of renewable energy along with hydroelectric power generation. One of the technologies that contributed to the popularization of photovoltaic power and the decrease in the unit price of photovoltaic modules was the large-area solar cell. However, as the area increased, the light receiving area increased and the current value increased accordingly. Since power loss occurs when the current value was large, the number of busbar was increased to increase the current collection rate, and a technology to lower the current value through half-cutting was developed. The bus bar of the solar cell served as a passage through which the generated current was transmitted. This was because when the number of busbar decreases, the moving distance of electrons increased, so the amount of power generation decreases and when it increases, shadows occured. An important aspect of the electrode design was the optimal balance of these busbars and number of fingers. Therefore, in this study, the characteristics of the solar cell according to the number of front bus bars of the large-area solar cell were simulated using Griddler 2,5 pro. After selecting the number of busbar with the best characteristics, the difference was compared by varying the number of fingers and a better direction for the number of cutting was presented.

RC 보의 휨실험을 통한 고강도 확대머리철근의 겹침이음 강도 평가 (Evaluation of the Lap Splice Strengths of High Strength Headed Bars by Flexural Tests of RC Beams)

  • 본 논문에서는 겹침이음되는 고강도 확대머리철근의 유효춤이 동일한 경우와 상이한 경우의 겹침이음상세를 가지는 보에 대하여 휨실험을 실시하였다. 이를 통하여 고강도 확대머리철근의 겹침이음성능을 평가하였고, KDS-2021 설계식의 적용성을 평가하였다. 실험 변수는 철근의 설계기준항복강도, 겹침이음길이, 스터럽 간격, 서로 겹침되는 철근간의 중심간격 등이다. LS 계열 실험체에 대한 ACI 318-19식이 KDS-2021식과 비교하여 약 23.8~32.7% 더 큰 정착길이를 나타내었으며, VLS 계열 실험체에서는 약 13.7~35.5% 더 큰 정착길이로 평가하고 있다. 유효춤이 동일한 확대머리 철근의 겹침이음실험에서 KDS-2021식의 1.3배 이상, ACI318-19식의 1배 이상의 겹침이음길이를 가지는 실험체는 모두 연성적인 거동 후 휨파괴되어 충분한 겹침이음성능을 확보하였다. 유효춤이 상이한 철근간에 겹침이음되는 상세를 가지는 실험체는 KDS-2021식으로 겹침이음길이를 산정할 경우, 유효춤이 적은 측의 철근강도를 증가시킴으로써 유효춤이 큰 단면의 보유휨강도와 유사하도록 휨응력을 전달시킬 수 있다.

Progress and Prospect of Rice Biotechnology in Korea

  • This is a progress report of rice biotechnology including development of gene transformation system, gene cloning and molecular mapping in rice. The scope of the research was focused on the connection between conventional breeding and biotech-researches. Plant transformation via Agrobacterium or particle bombardment was developed to introduce one or several genes to recommended rice cultivars. Two chimeric genes containing a maize ribosome inactivating protein gene (RIP) and a gerbicide resistant gene (bar) were introduced to Nipponbare, a Japonica cultivar, and transmitted to Korean cultivars. The homozygous progenies of herbicide resistant transgenic plant showed good fertility and agronomic characters. To explore the genetic resourses in rice, over 8,000 cDNA clones from immature rice seed have been isolated and sequenced. About 13% of clones were identified as enzymes related to metabolic pathway. Among them, twenty clones have high homology with genes encoding enzymes in the photorespiratory carbon cycle reaction. Up to now about 100 clones were fully sequenced and registered at EMBL and GenBank. For the mapping of quantitative tarits loci (QTL) and eternal recombinant inbred population with 164 F13 lines (MGRI) was developed from a cross between Milyang 23 and Gihobyeo, Korean rice cultivars. After construction of fully saturated RFLP and AFLP map, quantitative traits using MGRI population were analyzed and integrated into the molecular map. Eighty seven loci were determined with 27 QTL characters including yield and yield components on rice chromosomes. Map based cloning was also tried to isolate semi-dwarf (sd-1) gene in rice. A DNA probe, RG 109, the most tightly linked to sd-1 gene was used to screen from bacterial artifical chromosome (BAC) libraries and five over lapping clones presumably containing sd-1 gene were isolated. Rice genetic database including results of biotech reasearch and classical genetics is provided at Korea Rice Genome Server which is accessible with world wide web (www) browser. The server provides rice cDNA sequences and map informations linked with phenotypic images.
