Presently, because making process of train service plan consist of various constraint condition, for example structure of track, structure of track in station, train maintenance time and others for considering to be necessary of train management, it has been had extremely complex structure problems. For these reasons, it has big problems to compare analysis for various train service time-table. A study suggest methodology to choice service the most effective schedule and plan of train put before comparative analysis on making train diamond picture's expected effect of established possible various train time-table in making process of train service schedule for improving effectiveness and organization of train service schedule establishment. A study uses Line-Blocking theory for analyzing train service time-table and analyze example for regional train Sadang to Ansan section in 4line.
Automatic Operation based on ATO (Automatic Train Operation) is necessary for driverless Light Rail Transit business. When this kind of driverless LRT operation plan is made, TPS (Train Performance Simulation) is traditionally simulated at all-out mode and coasting mode based on manual operation. Commercial schedule speed equals to all-out speed minus $9{\sim}15%$ make-up margin. Coasting mode TPS simulation is also run at commercial schedule speed to calculate run time and energy consumption. But TPS based on manual operation should make an improvement on accuracy in case of driverless LRT operation Plan. In this paper, new fast mode TPS simulation using ATO pattern is proposed and show near actual ATO result. The actual ATO pattern can be accurately simulated with the introduction of 4 parameters such as commercial braking rate, jerk, station stop profile and grade converted distance. Normal mode TPS simulation for commercial schedule speed can be designed to have fast mode trip time plus 3 seconds/km margin recommended by korean standard LRT specification.
Hitherto, train schedules are made by several human experts and the scheduling is very long and tedious job. Moreover those results are not accepted as the optimal solution. The purpose of this research is the finding of optimal methodology and useful constraints for locomotive scheduling. For these purposes, the interactive simulation program for train linking schedule is developed. Some constraints and technique for train linking scheduling is able to be edited or modified by various interactive windows. The constraints, rules and methodology for scheduling can be analyzed and also obtained useful schedule results by using this program.

The power supply system in Korean electrified railway has adopted AT feeding. If a fault occurs in some substation for any reason, the vicinity substation must feed electric power on the outage substation through catenary. So, the feeding distance grows twice of the normal state at extended feeding condition. If substation's feeding distance is longer than normal condition, the catenary impedance and train to supply electric power from the substation. Therefore, the severe voltage drop can occur and power supply shall be not allowed. This paper presents the model of compensator against voltage drop using multi-port network algorithm. Whole traction power supply system can be analyzed with this model. Computer simulation including this model is performed based on real train schedule and increased schedule in case studies.
This paper is implemented a control algorithm in order to be stable and minimized to entire train traffic system at delayed case. Signal ing system is described wi th algebraic equations given for train headway, Discrete-event simulation principles are reviewed and a demonstration block signaling model using the technique is implemented. Train congestion at station entrance for short headway operation is demonstrated and the propagation of delays along a platform of trains from any imposed delay to the leading train is also shown. A rail way signaling system is by nature a distributed operation with event triggered at discrete intervals. Although the train kinematic variables of position, velocity, and acceleration are continually changing, the changes are triggered when the trains pass over section boundaries and arrive at signals and route switches. This paper deals with linear-mode1ing, stability and optimal control for the traffic on such metro line of the model is reconstructed in order to adapt the circuits. This paper propose optimal control laws wi th state feedback ensuring the stability of the modeled system for circuits. Simulation results show the benefit to be expected from an efficient traffic control. The main results are summarized as follows: 1. In this paper we develop a linear model describing the traffic for both loop lines, two state space equations have been analyzed. The first one is adapted to the situation where a complete nominal time schedule is available while second one is adapted when only the nominal time interval between trains is known, in both cases we show the unstability of the traffic when the proceeding train is delayed following properties, - They are easily implemented at law cost on existing lines. - They ensure the exponetial stability of loop system. 2. These control laws have been tested on a traffic simulation software taking into the non-linearites and the physical constraints on a metro line. By means of simulation, the efficiency of the proposed optimal control laws are shown.

The Korean railway system is a mass transit system consisting of a variety of train types such as common trains, high-speed train (KTX) and Metropolitan Express Railway (EMU). Its operation is based on the official timetable and it provides us with safe, accurate, quick and comfortable service. The objective of this study is to propose and prove more practical method for estimating line capacity by considering high-speeding and diversification of trains. In particular, the focus of this study is to reduce the discrepancy between the result of the theoretical line capacity estimation and the real line capacity of the operating agency of the Korean railway. In order to achieve the object, this study introduces a new railway capacity notion by considering TPS of line alignment, the operation type, train control and signaling system, etc. Through a practical schedule diagram exemplification, the result of the proposed method is verified as well.

The data transmission over MVB(Multifunction Vehicle Bus) of TCN(Train Communication Network) is divided into the periodic transmission phase and the sporadic transmission phase. TCN standard recommends the event-polling method as the message transfer in the sporadic phase. However, since the event-polling method does not use pre-scheduling to the priority of the messages, it is inefficient for the real-time systems. To schedule message transmission, a master node should know the priority of message to be transmitted by a slave node prior to the sporadic phase, but the existing TCN standard does not support any protocol for this. This paper proposes the slave frame bit-stuffing algorithm, with which a master node gets the necessary information for scheduling and includes the simulation results of the event-polling method and the proposed algorithm.
This paper introduces a methodology for NREL 5MW wind turbine, which is the variable speed and variable pitch(VSVP) control system. This control strategy maximizes the power extraction capability from the wind in the low wind speed region and regulates the wind turbine power as the rated one for the high wind speed region. Also, pitch control efficiency is raised by using pitch scheduling.Torque schedule is made of torque table depending on the rotor speed. Torque control is used for vertical region in a torque-rotor speed chart. In addition to these, mechanical loads reduction using a drive train damper and exclusion zone on a torque schedule is tried. The NREL 5MW wind turbine control strategy is comprised by the generator torque and blade pitch control. Finally, proposed control system is verified through GH Bladed simulation.
