FMECA를 통한 전차선로 가선시스템의 신뢰도 분석에 관한 연구 (A Study on Reliability Analysis of Electric Railway Catenary System using FMECA)

  • The reliability of catenary system is very important for uninterrupted train operation as it supplies electric power to train without redundant facilities. This paper provides a systematic approach to the reliability analysis of the catenary system based on FMECA procedures defined by global standards such as MIL Std 1692a and IEC 60812. Field failure data collected from the operation and maintenance of high-speed railway catenary system for 9 years are used to derive critical failure modes and to evaluate the criticality of the failure modes. Evaluation of the criticality are carried out by quantitative procedures defined by MIL Std 1692a and by criticality matrix defined by IEC 60812. FMECA results suggests that three critical failure modes should be checked carefully during maintenance work, which include strand break of dropper and voltage equalizing wire, power supply failure of feeder. Maintenance procedure of catenary system in order of importance is suggested too. These results can be applied to maintenance planning and design of catenary system to improve the reliability of electric railway system.

몬테카를로 시뮬레이션에 의한 화재열차의 터널 내 정차확률 예측에 관한 연구 (Study on the prediction of the stopping probabilities in case of train fire in tunnel by Monte Carlo simulation method)

  • 철도터널의 방재시설 계획 시 터널의 안전성을 정량적 위험도 평가에 의해서 정량화하여 방재시설의 적정성 여부를 판단하도록 하고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 터널화재에 대한 정량적 위험도 평가 시 결과에 크게 영향을 미치는 화재열차의 터널 내 정차확률을 예측하는 방법을 제시하였다. 이를 위해서 열차의 주행저항계수를 고려하여 타력운전거리를 계산하기 위한 모델을 개발하였으며, 타력운전특성과 비상제동거리를 고려하여 몬테카를로 시뮬레이션 기법에 의해 터널연장 및 경사도, 초기주행속도를 변수로 하여 화재열차가 터널에 정차할 확률을 예측하였다. 타력운전거리의 예측을 위한 운동방정식은 KTX II의 주행저항계수를 반영하여 분석하였다. KTX II 열차의 경우, 타력운전거리는 상향경사의 터널에서는 경사도가 증가할수록 감소하나 하향경사구간에서는 정지하지 않고 계속하여 주행이 가능하다. 화재열차의 터널 내 정차확률은 열차의 주행속도가 증가할수록, 경사도가 낮을수록 감소하며, 고속열차(주행속도 250 km/h 이상)는 인적오류를 고려하지 않는 경우, 경사도 0.5% 이하의 터널에서는 화재 시 열차가 터널에 정차할 확률은 0%이고, 경사도가 증가하고 터널연장이 증가하면 정차확률은 급격하게 증가하는 것으로 나타났다.

  • The catenary system supported by the tunnel bracket which has been used uniquely in KNR was selected as the catenary inside narrow existing tunnel in the electrification of Kyeung-Bu Line for operation of Korea High Speed Train(KTX). It was demanded to judge the maximal operable speed of KTX in this catenary system to implement the planning. To do this, the tunnel bracket was firstly tested to obtain the characteristic data. The stiffness of this bracket are computed depending on the location which catenary installed on. Moreover, the catenary using tunnel bracket is modelled numerically respecting the bracket stiffness. Based on these, the dynamics between this catenary and KTX pantograph are simulated with the program developed by ourselves independently. The simulation result are evaluated according to the generally acceptable criteria. Consequently, the maximal operable speed of KTX in the catenary using KNR(Korean National Railroad) tunnel bracket is predicted and some items which are needed to be kept in the processing of implementation are drawn.

  • This study finds out and suggests success factors for the application of RIMS project through the case study of Seoul Metro and literature survey. The successful application of RIMS needs expert knowledge and concept of BOM, standardization of maintenance planning, check lists of heavy maintenance inspection, organization structure of rolling stock maintenance offices, material management system of warehousing and the process of parts repairing between offices, connection of material ordering system, problem solving of circular spare parts administration among inspection, maintenance, and material organizational units, systemic serial number management of parts with RFID, daily closing diary connected with work process chart, and sufficient period of RIMS's test run. RIMS contributes to real time management of rolling stock maintenance, transparency of management, reliability of train operation, customer satisfaction, and management innovation.

  • A comprehensive review for the selection of urban rail vehicle systems that best suit Gimpo railway line is taking place with consideration of the project area characteristics in light of line planning, passenger demand, supply of rolling stock, and railway construction and operation. Various aspects of vehicle systems including passenger demand on concerned lines, regional characteristics, vehicle types, and railway construction and operational settings should be taken into consideration. In addition, request for the introduction of customized vehicle systems reflecting the convenience of transit users such as wide and hospitable inner space, low noise, flexible operation of 2 to 4 car train-set and eye catching slim bridge piers is increasing. A study on alternatives to place an order to opt for optimum rolling stock systems considering line characteristics of Gimpo City's urban railway and future passenger demand while meeting the needs of Gimpo City has been conducted.

해제시간에 따른 열차예매시간의 영향 분석: 경부선 KTX를 중심으로 (Analyzing Effects of the Ticket Release Time on Train Reservation Time: Focusing on KTX Gyeongbu-line)

  • 일반적으로 철도운영기관에서는 수익성 극대화를 위해 티켓팅 해제시간을 적용하여 티켓을 판매하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 이같은 해제시간이 KTX 예매행태에 어떻게 영향을 미치는지를 분석하였다. 예매행태는 예매시간을 의미하며 예매시각과 출발시각의 차이로 계산하였다. 분석자료는 KTX 경부선 매표자료이며, 요일별 차이를 보기위해 평일(목요일)과 토요일, 일요일의 자료를 이용하였다. 예매시간에 미치는 요인으로 해제시각이외에 요일, 운행거리, 운행방향 등을 고려하였다. 분석결과, 대부분 출발 3시간 전에 티켓을 예매하는 것으로 나타났으며, 주말 상행노선 이용객의 경우 대부분이 출발 하루 전에 예매를 하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 해제시간 전에는 상행노선, 장거리 구간, 일요일인 경우에 예매시간이 길게 나타났으며, 반면에 해제시간 이후에는 일요일인 경우와 장거리 구간인 경우에 예매시간이 짧게 나타났다.

  • Seoul Metro has been constructing the screen doors on the platforms to provide safe and comfort environments. The screen doors of each station are configured so that they can be operated in automatic mode in connection with ATC/ATO through the integrated control panel in the station control room and in manual mode through the control panel of the station control room and crew control panel. These systems have been implemented with different data communication protocols between systems, HMI configuration, and so on due to ordering processes, implementation time and diverse suppliers, and manufactured to be operated within single station. Seoul Metro has been planning to implement the integrated control system to secure seamless train operation and safety and to have a fast response system against emergency situations such as PSD failure and fire, by implementing the system that is able to collectively manage, monitor and control the operation status and equipment conditions of PSD on to the integrated control center. This paper has studied a scheme to reduce the budget for the future facility constructions by standardizing the data format for data communication with the integrated station control panel and using the open standard protocols, in order to secure consistency of operation, system expansion and maintenance with unified and standardized control items.

  • 본 논문은 장래 도입되는 KTX2 고속차량을 이용한 중련편성 운영계획 최적화를 위한 방법론 제시를 목적으로 한다. 중련편성 운영계획 최적화를 위한 수리적 모형을 제시하고, 제안된 수리적 모형의 적용방안을 제시한다. 특히 확률적 수요를 고려한 모형을 수립하여, 계획수립 단계에서 수요의 확률적 요소를 보다 현실적으로 반영하고, 모형내에서 좌석 서비스 수준을 직접 조정할 수 있다.

  • The Korean railroad has developed as a foundation of nation's nucleus network. Nowadays Korea has entered into a new era because of the operation of KTX(Korea Train Express). As an introduction of KTX, the Korean railroad system has advanced Korean style high speed rail(HSR-350x), which is based on transfer and own technology. It is expected that the Korean rail road system has the leading design and production ability. Korea is planning to develop its own high speed railroad system until 2007. So the present task is to initiate a strategic export method for the development and value-added of Korean high speed railroad system. Furthermore this study proposes the administrative and technical policy for the basic technical research and creativeness predominance.
