  • Efforts are being made to prevent traffic accidents within the child protection zone. Efforts are being made to prevent accidents by enacting safety facilities and laws to prevent traffic accidents in the school zone. However, traffic accidents in school zones continue to occur. If the driver can know the situation in the child protection zone in advance, accidents can be reduced. In this paper, we design a camera that eliminates blind spots in school zones and a number recognition camera system that can collect pre-traffic information. Design a LIDAR system that recognizes vehicle speed and pedestrians. Design an LED guidance system that delivers information to drivers without smart devices. We study time series analysis and artificial intelligence algorithms that collect and process pedestrian and vehicle information recognized by cameras and LIDAR. In the artificial intelligence traffic accident prevention system learned by deep learning, before entering the school zone, the school zone information is sent to the driver through the Force Push Service and the school zone information is delivered to the driver on the LED sign. try to reduce accidents.

시계열 자료 분석을 통한 4대 사회안전지표 변화 추이 (Transition of Four Major Social Safety Indexes by Time Series Data Analysis)

  • 해마다 반복적으로 인적 물적 피해를 유발하여 사회 안전에 큰 영향을 미치는 산업재해, 교통사고, 화재, 범죄 등의 항목을 4대 사회안전지표로 선정하여 2003년 이후 시계열에 따른 변화 추이를 분석하였다. 2003년을 기준으로 산업재해가 27.8% 감소하여 가장 두드러지게 개선된 것으로 확인되었으며, 교통사고와 범죄자표는 12% 정도 저감된 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 화재의 경우 2006년 이후 국가화재분류체계가 바뀌면서 경미한 생활 화재도 발생건수에 포함되도록 변경되어 기준년도 대비 40% 화재안전지수가 증가한 것으로 나타났다.

계측분석법에 의한 선박 접리안 안전성의 평가방안 (A Study on the evaluation of the safety of berthing maneuver by the Analytic Hierarchy Process)

  • On developing port system, the performance tests of system in relation to ship maneuver generally consists of the three parts: the channel transit, the manoeuvring in a turning basin and the docking/undocking. The quantifications of risk of an accident has priviously been difficult due to the low occurrence of accidents relative to the number of transits. Additionally, accident statistics could not be related port system because of the large number of factors contributing to the accident. such as human error, equipment failure, visibility, light, traffic. etc. In case of the channel transit, "Relative Risk Factor(RRF)" or "Relative Risk Factor for Meeting Traffic" was proposed as the as the measures derived to quantify the relative risk of accident by M.W.Smith. This factor measure the tracking performance, the turning performance and the passing performance at meeting traffic. On the other hand, the safety of berthing maneuver is not measured with a few evaluating factors as controlled due to complex controllabilites such as steering, engine, side thrusters or tugs. This work, therefore, aims to propose the evaluating measure by the Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP). Six experimental scenarios were establised under the various environmental conditions as independent variables. In every simulation, the difficulty of maneuver was scored by captain and compared with AHP scores. The results show almost same and from which the weights of eight evaluating factors could be fixed. Additionally, the limit value of relative factor in berthing safety to six scenarios could be estimated to 0.11.e estimated to 0.11.

  • Among the various functions of ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System), the most important and representative function to the safety of vehicle passengers is AEB (Autonomous Emergency Braking system). In South Korea, laws are in progress from 2022 for making it mandatory for passenger vehicles to be installed. And as AEB-equipped vehicles continues to increase in the future, the demand for accident analysis related to the AEB function is expected to increase in the future. In order to find out the operating limits of AEB, it is necessary to consider the situations exceeding the standards covered by EuroNCAP. Therefore we have performed four experiments in this study, including situations encountered in real-word traffic conditions, i.e., an oblique stop of Global Vehicle Target (GVT) and ADAS sensor failures. These experimental results are expected to be of great help in accurate and reliable accident analysis by considering them when analyzing traffic accidents for ADAS vehicles.

선박교통관제 클라우드 시스템 개발에 따른 사용자 요구사항 분석 (Analysis of User Requirements for Development of Vessel Traffic Services Cloud System)

  • 선박교통관제사는 선박 교통의 안전과 효율을 도모하기 위하여 선박교통관제 설비로 지정된 시스템 및 센서 장비를 활용하여 선박교통관제 업무를 수행한다. 선박교통관제의 효과적 운영을 위한 관제 필요 정보는 지정된 선박교통관제 설비 이외의 부가적인 정보 창구의 접근이 요구되며, 이러한 다양한 정보 열람 창구를 일원화하기 위하여 선박교통관제 클라우드 시스템 개발이 진행 중이다. 본 연구에서는 선박교통관제 클라우드 시스템 도입에 따른 사용자 필요 정보 식별을 위하여 선박교통관제 업무 분석 및 운영 정보와 선박교통관제 설비 연계 분석을 수행하였다. 국내외 문헌 검토와 전문가 인터뷰를 통하여 선박교통관제 업무 분석을 수행하였으며, 선박교통관제 설비에 따른 필요 정보를 식별·연계하였다. 분석 결과 전체 내·외부 정보 창구의 필요 정보는 37개의 범주로 식별되었으며, 필수 및 보조관제 설비 이외 열람이 필요한 추가 요구 정보는 8개의 정보창구를 통하여 수집 가능한 것으로 확인되었다. 본 연구를 통하여 식별한 사용자 요구사항은 선박교통관제 클라우드 시스템 구축을 위한 데이터 수집·처리 구조 설계에 적용될 것이다. 향후 시나리오 기반 관제 시스템 사용자 운영 분석을 통하여 사용자 요구 및 필요 정보를 개정·보완하고, 시스템 인터페이스 디자인 설계에 관한 추가 연구가 필요하다.

해상교통안전진단 대상 여객선 및 위험화물운반선 범위에 관한 고찰 (A Study on the Scope of Passenger Vessels and Dangerous Goods Carriers Subject to Maritime Traffic Safety Audits)

  • 해상교통안전진단제도는 선박통항에 영향을 미치는 수역이나 시설의 변경 시 선박통항 안전성 여부를 사전에 평가하고자 도입되었다. 동 제도의 도입 이후 지난 2014년 대상사업의 범위를 한정하여 길이 100미터 이상 및 최고 속력 60노트 이상인 선박을 대상사업의 기준으로 설정하였다. 본 연구에서는 이렇게 설정된 대상선박 기준을 해사안전법의 교통안전특정해역, 유조선통항금지해역 등의 대상선박 기준과 비교 검토하고, 안전진단 대상선박 현황 및 안전진단 제외사례를 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 교통안전특정해역에서 1,000G/T 이상, 유조선통항금지해역에서 794G/T 이상의 위험화물운반선에 대하여 안전진단이 필요한 것으로 나타났고, 여객선 및 위험화물운반선에 대하여 보다 강화된 기준 적용 필요성이 제기되었다. 따라서 결론으로 대상선박 기준 재검토 필요성을 제시하였다.

토지이용에 따른 충돌 유형별 도시부 로터리 및 회전교차로 사고모형 (Traffic Accident Model of Urban Rotary and Roundabout by Type of Collision based on Land Use)

  • This paper deals with the traffic factors related to the collisions of circular intersections. The purpose of this study is to develop traffic accident models by type of collision based on land use. In pursuing the above, the traffic accident data from 2010 to 2014 were collected from the "Traffic Accident Analysis System (TAAS)" data set of the Road Traffic Authority. A multiple regression model was utilized in this study to develop the traffic accident models by type of collision. 17 explanatory variables such as geometry and traffic volume factors were used. The main results are as follows. First, the null hypothesis that the type of land use does not affect the number of accidents by type of collision is rejected. Second, 10 accident models by type of collision based on land use are developed, which are all statistically significant. Finally, the ADT, inscribed circle diameter, bicycle lane, area of central island, number of speed hump, circulatory roadway width, splitter island, area of circulatory roadway, mean number of entry lane and mean width of entry lane are analyzed to see how they affect accident by type of accident based on land use.

USN 융합기술을 활용한 자전거 시설물의 안전향상에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Improvement Alternatives using USN Technology on Bicycle and Infrastructures)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 지능형 교통체계에서 유비쿼터스 센서 네트웍(USN: Ubiquitous Sensor Network)의 융합기술을 활용하여 자전거 시설물의 보안과 안전 기능을 향상하는데 있다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위해서 유니버셜 센서 네트웍 기술을 활용하여 U-bike 시스템을 개발하였다. 자전거도로 시설물 안전에 대한 문헌연구를 통하여 유비쿼터스 자전거 교통정보와 서비스 특성을 분석하여 USN을 활용한 자전거 및 시설물의 안전 인프라 구축 방안을 제시한다. 본 연구결과는 4대강 자전거도로 및 시설물 안전성능을 향상하는데 기여할 것이다.

안전한 개인형 이동장치 사용을 위한 시스템 구조 제안 (The Proposal of System Structure for Using Safe Personal Mobility Devices)

  • Recently the use of personal mobility devices is rapidly increasing, and the businesses related to personal mobility devices are quickly growing as well. Although the use of personal mobility devices provides convenience for short distance movements, many problems occur due to the lack of safety devices and the absence of associated road traffic laws. The number of accidents caused by using personal mobility devices continues increasing every year, and the injuries or deaths are seriously happening with those accidents. When using personal mobility devices, there are basic safety precautions such as wearing a helmet, prohibiting boarding with more than two people, prohibiting boarding with more than 100kg, prohibiting using after drinking alcohol, and so on. However, it is exposed to traffic accidents because there is no way to check before using the system. Therefore, to ensure the user's safety in using the electric kickboard among personal mobility devices, this paper proposes a system that can check the user's safety state before using the electric kickboard. It is possible to safely use personal mobility devices and prevent accidents by proposing a system structure of the electric kickboard that can be used after checking for the use of more than two people, overweight, wearing a helmet, and drinking alcohol.

연안해역의 항행 안전성 평가에 관한 연구 (Assessment of the Navigational Safety Level in the Korean Coastal Waterway)

  • In recent years, the marine traffic congestion has increased due to the expansion of vessel traffic volume in Korean coastal waterway. Heavy traffic could bring serious marine casualties which cause the loss of human lives, properties and marine pollution in coastal area. The prevention of marine accidents has been a major topic in marin society and various policies and countermeasures have been developed, applied to the industries. VTS(Vessel Traffic Services) is considered as one of effective method to promote marine safety but it needs relatively huge amount of budgets to build and also number of personnels for the operation. Thus prior to establishing the VTS. It should be surveyed the marine traffics, general conditions of waterway including geographical, meteorological characteristics and assessed to find the most reasonable area and places for the system. Therefore this paper aims to develop the method for this evaluation through the hierarchical evaluation structure model in connection with ISM(interpretive structural modeling) and AHP(analytic hierarchy process) methods. The model in this paper is applied to 4 coastal area in Korean waterway as candidates and found that the priority for the needs of VTS should be in order such as Yosu, Wando, Mokpo, Geoje coastal area.
