  • Existing single cache structure has shown difference of hit-ratio according to individually replacement strategy However. It needs new improved cache structure for reducing network traffic and providing advanced hit-ratio. Therefore, this Paper design push agent model using dual cache for increasing hit-ratio by reducing server overload and network traffic by repetition request of persistent and identical information. In this model proposes dual cache structure to do achievement replace gradual cache using by two caches storage space for reducing server overload and network traffic. Also, we show new cache replace techniques and algorithms which executes data update and delete based on replace strategy of Log(Size) +LRU, LFU and PLC for effectiveness of data search in cache. And through an experiment, it evaluates Performance of dual cache push agent model.

  • For reducing network traffic between long distance network or WAN, we supplement the Peer-to-Peer technology to HTTP. The large file transmition have the biggest traffic on HTTP. If downloading a large size file from a near computer not from the original location, we will get it speedier. For this, we propose a extened HTTP, named HTTP3. In this paper, we describe the HTTP3, the HTTP3 agent to support this protocol., and its security.

  • In the network management system, there are two approaches; the centralized approach based on SNMP and the distributed approach based on mobile agent. Some information changes with time and the manager needs to monitor its value in real time. In such a case, the polling is generally used in SNMP because the manager can query agents periodically. However, the polling scheme needs both request and response messages for management information every time, which results in network traffic increase. In this paper, we suggest an adaptive network monitoring method to reduce the network traffic for SNMP-based network management. In the proposed strategy, each agent first decides its on monitoring period. Then, the manager collects them and approves each agent's period without modification or adjusts it based on the total traffic generated by monitoring messages. After receiving response message containing monitoring period from the manager, each agent sends management information periodically without the request of manager. To evaluate performance of the proposed method, we implemented it and compared the network traffic and monitoring quality of the proposed scheme with the general polling method.

  • The proposed QoS Agent System for distance video learning is used unicast and P2P. This method is developed for decreased the traffic of server by control agent. First step capture from stream server's camera, and transmitted streaming data to the first CSplayer(c/s), and outrank CSplayer transmitted streaming data to the subordinate CSplayer controled by QoS Control Agent.

  • Several distributed architectures, incorporating mobile agent technology, have been recently proposed to answer the scalability limitations of their centralized counterparts. However, these architectures fail to address scalability problems, when distributed tasks requiring the employment of itinerant agents is considered. This is because they lack mechanisms that guarantee optimization of agents' itineraries so as to minimize the total migration cost in terms of the round-trip latency and the incurred traffic. This is of particular importance when MAs itineraries span multiple subnets. The work presented herein aspires to address these issues. To that end, we have designed and implemented an algorithm that adapts methods usually applied for addressing network design problems in the specific area of mobile agent itinerary planning. The algorithm not only suggests the optimal number of mobile agents that minimize the overall cost but also constructs optimal itineraries for each of them. The algorithm implementation has been integrated into our mobile agent framework research prototype and tested in real network environments, demonstrating significant cost savings.

  • MMORPG enables thousands of players to play in an evolving virtual world at the same time over the internet. So, the load of this kind of games is heavier than that of any other precedents. One of load balancing methods is map-partition to divide the load of entire system which is vulnerable to delay message between clients and servers. In this paper, we propose a game architecture using MigAgent to help migration of player character between field servers and to reduce message traffic between clients and field servers.

  • Aggressive driving leads to a greater crash potential because it threatens surrounding vehicles. This study conducted traffic simulation experiments using driving behavior data obtained from multi-agent driving simulations. VISSIM traffic simulator and surrogate safety assessment model (SSAM) were used to identify the impacts of aggressive driving on traffic stream in terms of safety and operational efficiency. Market penetration rates (MPR) of aggressive driving vehicle, coupled with various traffic conditions, were taken into consideration in analyzing the impacts. As expected, it was identified that aggressive driving vehicles tended to deteriorate the traffic safety performance. From the perspective of operational efficiency, interesting results were observable. Under level of service (LOS) A, B, and C, it was observed that the average travel speed increased with greater MPRs. Conversely, the average travel speed decreased with under LOS D and E conditions. The outcome of this study would be effectively used for developing safety-related policies for reducing aggressive driving behavior.

  • Intentional aggressive driving (IAD) is a very dangerous driving behavior that threatens to attack the adjacent vehicles. Most existing studies have focused on the independent driving characteristics of attack drivers. However, the identification of interactions between the offender and the victim is necessary for the traffic safety analysis. This study established multi-agent driving simulation environments to systematically analyze vehicle interactions in terms of traffic safety. Time-to-collision (TTC) was adopted to quantify vehicle interactions in terms of traffic safety. In addition, a exponential decay function was further applied to compare the overall pattern of change in crash potentials when IAD events occurred. The outcome of this study would be useful in developing policy-making activities to enhance traffic safety by reducing dangerous driving events including intentional aggressive driving.

  • MANET(Mobile Ad-hoc Network) is target of many attacks because of dynamic topology and hop-by-hop data transmission method. In MANET, location setting of intrusion detection system is difficult and attack detection using information collected locally is more difficult. The amount of traffic grow, intrusion detection performance will be decreased. In this paper, MANET is composed of zone form and we used random projection technique which reduces dimension without loss of information in order to perform stable intrusion detection in even massive traffic. Global detection node is used to detect attacks which are difficult to detect using only local information. In the global detection node, attack detection is performed using received information from IDS agent and pattern of nodes. k-NN and ZBIDS were experimented to evaluate performance of the proposed technique in this paper. The superiority of performance was confirmed through the experience.

  • We present a new MDA-based Mobile-IPv6 multicast routing algorithm for wirelese service operators to offer Mobile-IP over IMT-2000 service under IMT-2000 network by taking advantage of the existing infrastructure for IMT-2000 multimedia application services. The extended IMT-2000 system architectures use an PDSNs (i.e. IWFs), and the home network (i.e. Internet) backbone and intermediate network are composed of ATM entities. A key feature of the new protocol is the use of MDA(Multicast Delivery Agent) to reduce delivery path length of the multicast datagram. We show that proposed protocol is efficient in terms of various performance measures such as multicast traffic load, multicast related handoff, and average routing length when we implement it using the Mobile-IPv6. Particularly, the number of tunneling and average routing length of datagram are reduced relatively, the multicast traffic load is also decreased.
