Luis Barragan's Architecture has creative feature that Mexican environment and traditional culture were complete by color. Thus the color of his work makes our emotions rich and colorful. He said "My architecture is autobiographical..." at speech in Pritz price. As we can see in his architectural philosophy that sentimental architecture is important than theorical system, his works are impression of empirical factor with intuition. "Color is a complement to the architecture. It serve to enlarge or reduce a space. It's also useful for adding that touch of magic a place needs", stated Barragan. During his process of shaping space, Barragan drew on color in the same way as an architectural component, according it a spatial funtion and expressive vale. he allied it with light, deeming it a crucial vehical for conveying the emotive attributes a site. The capacity of color to express sensitivity and sensuality within an architecture space is liked to its psycho-physiological qualities. In this kind of view, color featyre in Barragan's work is one of the most important tools to realize sentimental architecture, not only is result of the Mexican regional color. As a result, make focus on analyzing various meaning of the color in Barragan's architecture like poetic and habitable structure.

중국 전통음악은 토착색이 짙고 자신만의 독특한 사고방식과 특징을 갖고 있다. 선형적 사유는 중국 전통음악의 주요 특징이라는 공감대가 이미 형성되어 각종 전통 다성부(多聲部)·단성부(單聲部) 음악 모두에 구현되었다. 주로 단선율(單旋律) 혹은 단음 음악의 형태로 표현된다. 이러한 중국 전통음악의 선형적 사유는 여러 방면의 요인에 의해 영향을 받아 형성된다. 예를 들어 민족 문화, 지리적 자연환경, 종교철학적 배경, 중국 전통 기보법(記譜法), 전통 악기의 개성적 특성, 율제(律制), 조성(調性) 및 전승방식 등과 관련 있다. 이러한 사유는 입체적 사유를 추구하는 서양 고전음악과 다른 측면이 있는데, 서양음악은 화음의 화합성, 음색 및 텍스쳐의 조화성, 구조의 논리성 및 정체성 등을 중시하며 공간의 종횡적 결합을 강조한다. 그러나 중국 전통음악은 선율의 수평적 발전, 선조의 유창함, 구조의 연속성 등을 중시한다. 우리는 본 논문에서 중국 전통음악의 선형적 사유의 원인을 분석하여 교육적 측면에 더욱 유용하게 활용할 수 있도록 하고 민족음악에 대한 지식을 전수하여 전통음악의 계승과 발전을 촉진하고자 한다.

Korean ritual dancing was doing in a royal court when an auspicious event happen in a country, a ritual ceremony was hold or reception for an envoy came from the other country was hold. There were 53 kinds of ritual dancing in Korea. Gumgee-Mu was the one among of them. Yea-Reung(woman ritual dancer) were dancing Gumgee-Mu with a sword. For Gumgee-Mu they wore a Kaeja(快子), Haebsuyoi(挾袖衣). Above it they took a Jeandae(戰帶), Jeanlib(戰笠). The dancing suit\`s color had a harmony with well mixed. Lunar-Solar-Five-Natural(陰陽五行) of oriented traditional concept.

In the millenium, which will be characterized by its global culture, a strong sense of identity of one's culture is needed to nature one's culture in a way that more people can participate in creating, enjoying and consuming it. In order to respond to both globalization and localization, natural and cultural backgrounds of such should be considered in the conversation of nature, so that the optical and color environment can have local identity while undergoing sustainable development. Therefore, the objective of this research is to enhance the image of a city, which is endowed with beautiful scenery and unique culture, but has lost its identity since industrialization An through a scientific and systematic color planning The Research was conducted as follows. First, color environment which doesn't reflect local characteristics due to modernism which emphasizes on uniformity was examined. Second, standard and analysis of environment color planning were examined. Natural color specimen was use to make a palette of nature colors, from which colors for architecture were extracted to come up with color combination types. Without traditional architecture philosophy, materials and colors, which were once in harmony with the environment, it is impossible to clean up the environment all together. However by using colors to control new city plans, urban redevelpment, construction and renovation gradually, that process can be effective and less costly.

Han-Bok presents a unique consumption ex-perience different from Western dress which is common to our clothing life. This study is intended to propose the necessity of broad-ening deepening and systematizing a research related to the social aspects of Han-bok. A questionnaire consisted of 10 statements of attitude to Han-Bok 7 statements of the evaluation of the occasional appropriateness of Han-Bok preference questions about style color harmony and decorative materials of han-Bok was developed which includes 5 opinion statement of the importance of tra-ditiona and some demographic variables. During December 1996 and January 1997 the women aged above 20 responded to it and finally 702 data was analyzed. Korean urban women have positive attitude to Han-Bok And the conceit about Han-Bok was significantly higher than the intention to wear it . The most properly evaluated occasion for wearing han-Bok was 'holdays' like Seolnal and chuseok Han-Bok was evaluated im-proper for casual wear and out wear. Factor analysis of 7 occasions determined 3 factors; traditional occasion special occasion and cas-ual occasion. It is needed to identify the ef-ficiency of Han-Bok according to each differ-ent occasion. Korean urban women preferred the style of traditional line soft color and modern har-mony. In a viewpoint of tradition they put more importance in the line of Han-Bok that they do in the color of it.

The purpose of this research is to get basic data for R&D to activate and popularize the Practical Korean Costume. This research was carried out by theoretical study with literature and practical study with development of model based on the result of questionnaire. 1. In theoretical study the concept of 'Korean-image' of modern costume as well as 'Modernization' of Korean traditional costume has been suggested and 'traditional beauty of costume' which can be evaluated generally was considered. 2. In practical study the results of the questionnaire showed the objective numerical value of the element of Korean design which is firmly recognized by korean people. With the results the methods of development and composition of design have been suggested in the harmony of 'traditional' and 'modern' through the modernization in terms of form composition fabric color. It is expected that development direction of Practical Korean Costume which can be settled in everyday life with more independent cultural identity should be suggested. Additionally the research results will be useful for merchandise planning of costume industry.

I observed the meaning and the symbolic charaeters about the color and style of clothes appearing at "GER GA JAP BOK GO" written by Kyu Soo Park. The black color of Hyun Eui as a ceremonial dress of man symbolizes Heaven and Virtue. The yellow color of Whang Sang as a ceremonial dress of man symbolizes the Earth and the Impartiality. The blue or black decoration line over white ground of Sim Eui as ordinary dress of man symbolizes also Filial Piety. In woman ordinary upper garment, So Eui, black texture edging with blue line implies the mutual symmetricity with her husband's. Besides, white color texture lining So Eui symbolical to a Devine Nature and Homage implies also the deep concealment of feminine body. The black ground color of child dress "Chi Po Eui" symbolizes Naivety, and the red silk color of it's decoration line, belt and tress ornaments implies the praise of the Virtue & Learning and also "Expel the Evil" of our traditional national characteristics. As described above the meaning and symbolic characters about the color and style of clothes appearing at "GER GA JAP BOK GO" has a very Chinese disposition, but it's author Kyu Soo Park modified somewhat to be in harmony with the real social situation of our Country during that latest stage of Yi Dynasty, because he was one of the prominent pragmatist at that time.

The purpose of this study is to develop Korean clothing designs that can satisfy future consumer's needs based on the elements extracted through the content analysis method in a study on the design elements expressed in traditional outfits in the 2010s. To this end, data analyzing Hanbok in wedding magazines were used, and after extracting design elements, research methods for empirical design development were used. After subclassifying the major design elements, factors with a steady increase in frequency and appearance rate were identified. Through this, five elements capable of aesthetic sampling were extracted by complex expression methods and expressed in a total of seven combinations. The types extracted from the design elements are items, silhouette, top shape, skirt shape, skirt length, mixed items with increasing frequency. In the element of color, the adjacent color harmony, which showed the highest frequency of color, and the white-blue harmony, which showed an increase among them, were extracted. When using materials, top and skirt have similar usage rates of the same and different materials, so both contents were extracted, and many patterns were arranged in the top and the whole, but these three were extracted because there were increasing cases where there were no patterns. In the case of decoration, embroidery, pintuck, sakdong, applique, lace, ribbon on the top, silver foil and print on the skirt were extracted. Through this study, it was possible to propose a future Korean costume design model.

The purpose of this research was to compare the evaluation of tone on tone coloration of traditional Korean dress by Korean and American women college students. The respondents were asked to evaluate 48 stimuli of the traditional Korean skirt and jacket with different tone of color. The evaluation of Korean and American students admit of various interpretation, and it can'be said that they were caused by their different cultural bacgrounds. The results of reseach can be summerized as follows. As to the red colors, Korean students evaluated vivid skirt and light or dark jacket, light skirt and vivid or dull, dark jacket, dull skirt and light jacket as harmonized. But American students judged light skirt and dull and light jacket as not harmonized. As to the yellow colors, both Korean and American students had common opinions that light skirt and dull jacket are well harmonized. Korean students thought vivid skirt and dull jacket, light skirt and dull, dark jacket, dull skirt and dark jacket are well harmonized. American students thought light skirt and vivid, light, dull jacket dull skirt and light jacket are well harmonnized. As to the green colors, Korean students evaluated vivid skirt and dull, dark jacket, light skirt and vivid, dull, dark jacket are well harmonized. But American students evaluated vivid skirt and light jacket, light skirt and dark jacket, dark skirt and vivid or light jacket are not harmonized. Among 48 stimuli of tone on tone coloration, Korean students evaluated 18 set and American students judged 30 set as harmonized.

Show window display is a technique of arranging goods for sales promotion, namely, motivating and inducing customers to purchase products. It is not simply exhibiting articles but a technical expression of values retained in exhibited articles and an integrated visual art comprehending color, lighting effect, the customers' angle of vision, differentiation from neighboring stores, harmony with properties, assistive roles of relevant goods, and entire messages provided by these elements. Show window display plays the role of a medium that expresses brand images and attracts consumers. Through the medium, the company's brand image is recognized and the recognition determines the trend of brand sales. Brand images planted to consumers seldom change, and wrong recognition affects not only the brand image but also the company image. The present study purposed to suggest show window display employing brand images different from traditional show window display, to examine the effects of brand images on consumers' intention to purchase, and to propose display design.
