Recently, an increasing number of urban farmers are growing fresh vegetables and fruits themselves using urban garden or weekend farms. In other words, this is called urban agriculture. After the Industrial Revolution in the 18th century, the agricultural society changed from an agricultural society to an industrial society, and the population began to flock to the cities. With the continued increase of urban population, countries with abundant capital were able to control the distribution structure of food supplies and trade agreements among countries. Since energy consumption and carbon dioxide emissions caused by agricultural product movements have emerged as the main culprits of global warming, and our table is threatened by safety due to food supply that has no genetic modification or knowledge of the cultivation process, urban agriculture is already taking hold in the West. In other words, as agriculture met cities, its role grew. Each region actively conducts agricultural activities for raising poultry as well as growing vegetables and fruits by using flower beds of detached houses in the city center, rooftops of high and low buildings, or school playgrounds and small tributaries of land. The purpose of this study is to analyze and understand the significance and type of urban agriculture and to examine the cases of domestic and foreign urban agriculture based on this and to seek the developing direction of urban agriculture, which is gradually increasing. Tired of growing competition and rapid change, urbanites are seeking health and relaxation and are planning to present development measures for urban farming and conduct follow-up research to ensure safe food.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to look at the current status and cases of ESG at home and abroad, and through this, seek ways to activate the ESG strategy of domestic SMEs and suggest a direction. Research design, data and methodology: This study examines the current status of ESG management at home and abroad and examples of companies through related literature on ESG management and performance. Through this, the strategic direction of ESG management of domestic SMEs was presented. Results: Compared to the government and major corporations, SMEs can be said to lack ESG management activities. ESG activities include environmental activities such as carbon neutrality, waste management, eco-friendly supply chain management, establishment of safety and health processes to improve workers' environment, expansion of governance to guarantee autonomy and profitability such as fair trade, protection of social and shareholder rights such as anti-corruption, etc. should be based on Therefore, there are difficulties in ESG activities of SMEs that lack funds and manpower. Conclusions: Compared to the government and major corporations, SMEs can be said to lack ESG management activities However, it will be possible to establish and implement ESG management strategies based on the strengths of SMEs and the characteristics of each company.

Purpose - This study is aiming to provide policy makers with new insights to promote the consumption of locally-grown produces in the HMR industry by exploring what kinds of policies Japan, UK and Italy have developed. Research design - After introduction, the research starts to review the existing literature related to the promotion of local produce consumption, and then, compares the policies introduced by the above countries. Finally, the authors draw conclusions on the basis of research findings. Results - Firstly, central government has to collaborate with local authorities to promote local food consumption in the HMR industry. Secondly, countries have strengthened food label system to enhance local food consumption, in terms of country of origin. Thirdly, all of nations has highlighted food safety to protect customers. Fourthly, the government has created the business environment forcing HMR operators and retailers to follow the government's policy. Fifthly, it is necessary to support the social communities to enhance their social responsibility, from the government's point of view. Lastly, the social responsibility and the ethical administration of retailers should be sustainably strengthened by social atmosphere. Conclusions - In line with the growth of HMR products, governments have to make a considerable effort to develop innovative methods to promote local food consumption in the HMR industry.
According to the report of the Korea Agro-Fisheries and Food Trade Corporation (2019), the size of the HMR food market in 2019 exceeded 4 trillion won. On the other hand, the consumption of agricultural products continued to decrease. As reported by Woo (2020) who analyzed consumer panel survey data, when the 2010 agricultural product purchase index was 100, the crop purchase index in 2019 was 72 and the vegetable and special crop purchase index was 69. Therefore, the Rural Development Administration promoted the research projects to develop the technologies for producing stably raw materials of HMR and for optimizing local foods as HMR ingredients. Researches on the development of HMR using local agricultural products has been being promoted in Cheonan, Chungju, and Jeju in 2020. In the case of Jeju, it has been prepared and realized the B2B commercialization of Jeju agricultural products in connection with the convenience store ingredients supplier in the province. In the case of Cheonan, development of HMR foods like as Sundae, dumpling, sausage, and Tteokgalbi using willd chive, cherry tomatoes, shiitake mushroom, fortified perilla, and licopene fortified watermelon has been being promoted. Lastly, in the case of Chungju, a diverse HMR foods have been developed using beans, centella asatica, Japanese lady bell, apples and peaches such as blended juices, frozen boiled rice, and tofu kit. In the future, in connection with the regional specialized crop cultivation project promoted by the Rural Development Administration, we intend to support the convergence commercialization of R&D technology based on regional characteristics.

In this paper, we describe a rule-based risk classification algorithm to perform Risk-based Inspection (RBI) on imported goods at customs. The RBI system is a method to automatically select which cargos have to be inspected and manage potential risks in boarder. In this study, we designed a rule-based risk classification algorithm for RBI solutions and implemented them using the Svelte web application framework. The risk classification algorithm proposed in this paper uses different indicative risk factors such as HS code, country of origin, importer's reliability, trade relationships, and logistics routes to classify cargos into Green, Yellow, and Red channels. To achieve this, we assigned risk categories to each risk factor and randomly generated risk scores within a specific range for each risk category. This system is expected to contribute to the increased efficiency of customs operations and protect public safety by minimizing the risk of imported hazardous materials.

Construction is among the most dangerous industries with numerous accidents occurring at job sites. Following an accident, an investigation report is issued, containing all of the specifics. Analyzing the text information in construction accident reports can help enhance our understanding of historical data and be utilized for accident prevention. However, the conventional method requires a significant amount of time and effort to read and identify crucial information. The previous studies primarily focused on analyzing related objects and causes of accidents rather than the construction activities. This study aims to extract construction activities taken by workers associated with accidents by presenting an automated framework that adopts a deep learning-based approach and natural language processing (NLP) techniques to automatically classify sentences obtained from previous construction accident reports into predefined categories, namely TRADE (i.e., a construction activity before an accident), EVENT (i.e., an accident), and CONSEQUENCE (i.e., the outcome of an accident). The classification model was developed using Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) showed a robust accuracy of 88.7%, indicating that the proposed model is capable of investigating the occurrence of accidents with minimal manual involvement and sophisticated engineering. Also, this study is expected to support safety assessments and build risk management systems.

This research is to propose an applicable framework for real-time health surveillance and safety monitoring at construction sites. First this study aims at finding (1) a framework for health surveillance that is likely to benefit employers and employees in the industry, (2) a valid way to identify factors or conditions with potential health concerns that can occur under particular work conditions, (3) An effective way to apply wireless/mobile sensors to construction workers using real-time/live data transmission methods, and (4) A relationship between a worker's vital signs and job site environment. Biosensors for physiological response and devices for weather/work related data are to collect real-time data. Relationships between jobs and physiological responses are analyzed and factors that touched particularly contributing to certain responses are identified. When data are incorporated with tasks, factors affecting tasks can be identified to estimate the magnitude of the factors. By comparing work and normal responses possible precautionary actions can be considered. In addition, the study would be lead to improving (1) trade-specific dynamic work schedules for workers which would be based on various factors affecting worker health level and (2) reevaluating worker productivity with health status and work schedule, thereby seeking ways to maximize worker productivity. Through a study, the paper presents expected benefits of implementing health monitoring.
Historically, commerce was a significant factor in the proliferation and development of Buddhism, which is especially manifest in the cult of the bodhisattva Avalokiteśvara. Iconographic and textual evidence testifies that maritime trade on the Indian Ocean played a fundamental role in the formation of Avalokiteśvara worship. The sea was also a major conduit through which elements of the Avalokiteśvara faith were transmitted from India through China to Korea and Japan, the easternmost ends of the Silk Road. These elements include Avalokiteśvara's role as a maritime savior, oceanic symbolism, and the concept of the bodhisattva's worldly abode, Potalaka. Cultic sites dedicated to maritime safety were established at important transport hubs in East Asia. Due to China's strategic location on the Silk Road, as well as its cultural influence, the most important cultic sites were founded in China, first on the Shandong Peninsula, then in the southern Jiangnan region, in present-day Zhejiang Province. Especially notable is the role that Korean seafarers played in this process by assisting monks in search of the Dharma, establishing temples, and transmitting religious beliefs across the ocean. The present study focuses on the role that maritime figures played in the cultural exchanges between Korea, China, and Japan examined through Avalokiteśvara faith. By this, it aims to demonstrate how Korean seafarers inherited and continued the traditional relationship between commerce and Buddhism, while extending the Maritime Silk Road to the "East Asian Mediterranean."
A genetic improvement program in Korea was implemented to improve the performance of Hanwoo cattle by generating livestock with genetically desirable economic characteristics. In particular, in response to external changes, such as the expansion of Free Trade Agreement (FTA), the livestock genetic improvement program has increased farm income by improving the productivity and quality of Hanwoo cattle. Using production cost data from Statistics Korea, the total input and output indices of Hanwoo feeding cattle from 2008 - 2021 were estimated and the growth and productivity changes were analyzed. The productivity change measures results were used to estimate the cumulative effects of the Hanwoo genetic improvement program on quality improvement, another purpose of the program, using a finite distributed lag model. The average annual increase in output (market weight) of Hanwoo was 0.9%. However, total input increased by 1.6%, resulting in a 0.6% decline in total factor productivity. In contrast, the Hanwoo genetic improvement program contributed significantly to the production of high quality beef, rather than contributing to improved productivity of the cattle. Hanwoo carcass weight, which is used as a performance indicator for the livestock genetic improvement program, has significantly improved and is projected to increase at a slower rate. The collective findings indicate the need for new performance indicators that can comprehensively indicate the performance of the genetic improvement of Hanwoo.
Our country, which relies on maritime transport a majority of import and export trade volume and faced with unexpected accidents, it is difficult to operate the normal function of container terminal. It also caused by reliability issue raised is likely to be given a blow to the new volumes to attract and maintain existing volumes. Under this views, the container terminal is a situation that highlights the role of the harbor workers and cope with aggressive work to provide the best quality services to customers 365 days. On these grounds, the heavy work burden is passed on to the harbor workers and caused accidents every year. The study was analyzed the safety status of the container terminal under the real following the conditions as disaster status analysis, insufficient safety training circumstances and safety training from 2012 year to 2015 in the target current K.Y terminal. As a result of equipments safety training analysis, it shows that 2012 year happened 45 cases and 31 cases in 2013 year until not practicing the training over the Gantry Crane equipment. One hand 23 cases took place in 2014 while preparation training and the other intensive training period of 2015, 8 cases occurred. it shows that 2012 year happened 13 cases and 19 cases in 2013 year until not practicing the training over the Transfer Crane equipment. One hand 12 cases took place in 2014 while preparation training and the other intensive training period of 2015, 8 cases occurred. it shows that 2012 year happened 9 cases and 9 cases in 2013 year until not practicing the training over the Yard Tractor equipment. One hand 9 cases took place in 2014 while preparation training and the other intensive training period of 2015, 4 cases occurred. Because safety training of the container terminal was given to greatly impact on the mandatory safety training, self-educational enforcement and specified equipments safety training, hence the container terminal is to strengthen the safety education to prevent accidents in advance.
