도시형 자기부상철도 궤도구조 개선 및 거동분석 (Improvement and Behavior Analysis of Track Structure for Urban Maglev System)

  • The existing track structure for urban Maglev system is designed for the Maglev vehicles of HSST in Japan and UTM in Korea. The tracks hvaing cross beams for supporting rails are located on bridge girders and have several draw backs. Linimo in Nagoya, Japan, the first commercial urban Maglev line, has separated tracks from a bridge to overcome the previous track structure. However, the Linimo just put the existing track on bridge deck. This study suggests a improved track structure for urban Maglev system and compares the behavior of the new and existing track through static structural analyses. In the improved track, the power collector of a Maglew vehicle is installed parallel to the bridge deck surface, and, thus, the bottom width of the track structure is not limited by the vehicle's width. Therefore, the live load is distributed more effectively by the wide bottom of the track. Also, steel plates instead of steel cross beams are used to support rails, and, thus, the rail's deflection is improved.

  • Conventional railways are less competitive than other land transportation means in term of speed, and thus users preference and transportation share for rail system are relatively lower than others. For example, most of the conventional lines except the Seoul~Busan corridor run at an average speed of 70 km/h or less, which imposes certain constraints on roles and functions as the trunk lines. In this regard, the speed of the conventional lines should be improved up to 200 km/h to gain competitiveness, promote balanced regional development and lead the era of low carbon green growth. As track system is one of the most important elements for the speed-up, it is critical to come up with optimum technical solutions. Improvement of ballast track structure with efficient track installation can provide structural stability for higher speed and ensure operational safety with lower maintenance efforts. Thus, this study focuses on consequences followed by the speed-up including increase of load imposed on the track and impacts on track components, and provide solutions for track maintenance by analyzing impact on the track structure by speed. Also, it compares ballast and concrete tracks under designing and construction and considers how to meet needs for passengers comfort and environmental requirements as a strategic approach.

방진제도시스템 적용에 따른 강철도 무도상 판형교의 거동 분석 (A Behavior Analysis of Railway Steel Plate Girder Bridge in the Applying Resilient Panel Track System)

  • The major objective of this study is to investigate the effects and application of improvement for railway steel plate girder bridge by resilient panel track system. It analyzed the mechanical behaviors of steel plate girder bridge with applying resilient panel track system on the finite element analysis and laboratory test for static & dynamic characteristics. As a result, the improvement of steel plate girder bridge with resilient panel track systems are obviously effective for the static & dynamic response which is non-ballast steel plate girder bridge. The analytical and experimental study are carried out to investigate resilient panel track system decrease vertical acceleration and deflection on steel plate girder bridge for serviceability. And the resilient panel track system reduced dynamic maximum displacements (about 59%) and stresses (about 82%), the increase of dynamic safety is predicted by adopting resilient panel track system. From the dynamic test results of steel plate girder bridge, it is investigated that vertical acceleration and deflection is very low with applying resilient panel track system. The servicing steel plate girder bridge with resilient panel track system has need of the reasonable improvement measures which could be reducing the effect of static and dynamic behavior that degradation phenomenon of structure by an unusual response characteristic and a drop durability.

  • This paper is presenting the performance evaluation on the installed concrete panels. As a result of the evaluation, the resistance to track displacement of temporary support structure was improved and it resulted in the improvement of work stability during installation. And, by the application of new technology and the saving of concrete consumption, both workability and cost were improved and, therefore, the shorter project period and cost saving can be expected. Furthermore, as a result of noise & vibration measurement at site, it has shown good effects of anti-noise and anti-vibration. In conclusion, this process was proved as very effective for track improvement.

  • 최근에 철도분야에서는 철도차단시간을 최소화하는 상태에서 현장케도의 동적성능을 향상시키고자하는 노력이 지속되어 왔다. 본 연구에서는 철도케도의 거동 및 동특성규명을 위해 운행선 궤도를 대상으로 도상안정제 살포 전ㆍ후 열차주행시험, 횡저항력시험 및 정ㆍ동적해석을 실시하였다. 이들 결과를 토대로 도상안정제의 효과를 확인하였으며, 아울러 궤도상태를 나타내는 궤도계수 산출을 위한 도표와 도상궤도 구성요소의 진동 및 하부구조로 전달되는 분포력 저감방안을 제시하였다. 본 연구에서 제시되는 결과는 향후 궤도상태판정 및 유지관리를 위한 기초자료로서 널리 이용될 수 있을 것으로 판단되었다.

  • Subway routes $1{\sim}4$ were constructed in gravel roadbed track structure in consideration of the technological capabilities, construction cost and duration at the time of the initial construction. As such, 224.8km, approximately 81.2% of entire length, of total length of railway track at 276.9km was constructed on gravel roadbed. However, improvement of gravel roadbed to concreted roadbed began in 1998 due to problems including frequent repair works and limited time application for such works caused by occurrence of tract distortion during operation as well as lowering of roadbed functions and generation of dust caused by frictional power, impact absorption capabilities, abrasion and crushing of gravel on roadbed. Currently, this improvement is continuing with target of converting entire route into concreted roadbed structure. Therefore, this Study modifies formula for setting cant, analyze the correlation between wearing of rail side of the curvature and cant insufficiency following increasing of the running speed of the train, and to present the directions for fundamental review for adjustment of cant insufficiencies at the time of improvement of gravel roadbed to concreted roadbed that is being implemented on the operational tracks of the railway trains.

  • The vehicle's light-weight technology is divided into optimization of structure geometric and material. Structure geometric optimization and improvement of materials has examined to be power-train and maintenance on the severe condition. The core technology of Special vehicle's light-weight is constitute by Drop box, Axle and Final reduction gear. Technology and product of the parts is high to overseas and import dependency. We will want to examine the possibility of light-weight for the Axle Case and Drop box-connections. In this research, conventional design of excess weight will inhibit the mobility and fuel efficiency. Through the improvement of Axle material, we saw the possibility reducing weight. If you use the results of these studies, it will be available to domestic production technology and reducing weight of RV car, Dump truck, Track crain, etc.

  • Even though the existing train route controlling method, using track circuits, ensures the sufficient number of operation, it still has problems such as discordance between train numbers which was planned for operating and train numbers being operated on the track, and allowing only one train entering for one route. To solve those problems, we study and develop the Smart train route controlling system which uses the real-time informations of train positions. This system enables improve the coefficient of utilization in a certain train route controlling section, and the safety level of train route controlling, but we should ensure satisfying reliability of data about tracks operated by trains. In addition, there is a need to protect accidents caused by erroneous information of train position, by reflecting changes of tracks, for example maintenance, improvement, expansion of tracks. In this paper, we describes data structure of a developed program which required to change CAD files to wiring diagrams and to generate them to data of tracks. And we show the result that the simulator, using the data structure, controls speed and route of trains without problems.
