도시철도 분기기 궤도구조의 궤도지지강성과 궤도충격계수의 상관관계에 관한 연구 (A Study on Relationship between Track Impact Factor and Track Support Stiffness of Turnout System on Urban Transit)

  • 본 연구는 도시철도 콘크리트궤도에 적용된 침목플로팅궤도와 목침목 분기기 궤도의 궤도지지강성과 궤도충격계수의 상관관계분석을 위해 운행선 현장측정을 수행하여 분기기 궤도의 위치별 궤도지지강성과 궤도충격계수를 측정하였다. 본선의 일반 궤도구조인 침목플로팅궤도의 궤도지지강성은 침목방진패드의 스프링강성에 지배적인 영향을 받는 것으로 분석되었다. 일반궤도와 분기기 위치별 궤도지지강성의 차이는 궤도충격계수에 직접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다. 연구결과, 침목플로팅 궤도구조와 분기기 궤도구조의 궤도지지강성과 궤도충격계수는 위치별로 큰 차이를 나타내는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 본선 일반구간과 분기기 궤도의 궤도지지강성의 편차를 최소화 하여 궤도충격을 저감시키는 방안이 필요한 것으로 분석되었다.

자갈궤도의 상태평가를 위한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Study on Condition Evaluation for Railway Ballasted Track)

  • The degradation and damage of the components for ballasted track could be caused a serious problem for railway safety. Therefore, the integrity evaluation of ballasted track condition is important to ensure and predict that the track safety and track maintenance. Various track components such as rail pad, ballast, sleeper, and rail that are widely used in Republic of Korea and represent a range of physical properties have been selected for this research. In this study, the experimental modal analysis was performed by the non-destructive testing. Modal test results were obtained from the field test and used to assess the condition of the track components. From the field test, the system of ballasted track was found to be simplified as a two-degree-of-freedom(2DOF) dynamic system. The condition of track component was found to directly affect the dynamic response of ballasted tracks. As the results, the dynamic properties of the track component was depend on the track condition and was distributed more roughly and over a wider range than its initial design values. Further, the methodology presented in this study is possible to determine experimentally the fundamental track parameters which are required in the numerical analysis, and also are useful for the safety assessment of track condition.

도시철도 궤도구조별 궤도지지강성 평가를 위한 실험적 연구 (A Study on the Evaluation of Track Support Stiffness on the Various Track Type in Urban Transit)

  • 궤도지지강성은 차량이 주행함에 있어 궤도와 차량에 매우 큰 영향을 미치며, 이는 궤도 파괴이론에 근거한 궤도유지관리와 승객의 승차감에 영향을 준다. 또한 궤도설계 시 고려되는 궤도지지강성은 이론에 근거한 계산치이며 이는 공용중인 궤도에서의 실제 궤도지지강성과는 상이하다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 현장측정을 통해 동적 윤중과 레일수직변위, 레일저부응력을 측정하여 궤도지지강성을 산출하였고 이를 이론 궤도지지강성과 비교 분석하였다. 현장측정결과 자갈도상궤도에서의 궤도지지강성은 자갈의 상태에 직접적인 영향을 받으며 콘크리트궤도의 경우 궤도구조별(일반적인 침목매입식, 레일플로팅, 침목플로팅) 궤도구조특성에 직접적인 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 자갈 및 콘크리트궤도 모두 설계 시 적용되는 궤도지지강성이 측정된 궤도지지강성에 비해 과소평가되는 것으로 분석되었다. 이는 공용중인 궤도의 상태평가 시 현장의 궤도상태를 반영하지 못한 예측 및 평가가 될 소지가 있을 것으로 판단된다. 이에 본 연구에서는 궤도구조형식 및 궤도상태별 궤도지지 강성의 범위를 실험적으로 제시하였다.

고속철도 궤도의 곡선부 주행안전성 평가 (Study for Safety on the Curve in the High-speed Railway Track)

  • The railway track and the substructures constructed in the field test section of Kyongbu High Speed Line are the structures for HSL, for the first time designed and constructed by domestic technical group. It is very important to verify the local design criteria and specifications for these structures and also to assure the recordings for vibration or deflection produced on the essential parts of the structures. The study to verify the high-speed railway track performance and to ensure the run in safety on the track in curved section during the KTX run. Finally, the conclusion are drawn as follows. The measuring values of the deflection effort of the rail and displacement for verifying the track performance in the field test section of Kyoungbu HSL satisfy the criteria of the foreign countries (Japan and Germany). The measured value for the wheel load and the presumed value show the consistent tendency. The wheel loads of the exterior and interior of the rails at the speed superior to 300km/h are measured same. Finally, the comparison between the theoretical value presented during the verification of the derailment to evaluate the safety of the train run at the time of the detailed design of the track and the measured value in the field shows that the correct design of track structure was applied.

소형무인경전철(PRT)궤도 레일이음매의 동적거동 분석 (Evaluation of Dynamic Behavior of Rail Joints on Personal Rapid Transit Track)

  • The objective of this study was to estimate the dynamic behavior of a personal rapid transit(PRT) track system using a rail of rectangular tube section and a rail joint of sliding type, and to compare the results with the normal rail and rail joint of a PRT track system by performing field measurements using actual vehicles running along the service lines. The measured vertical displacement of rail and sleeper, and vertical acceleration of rail for the normal rail and rail joint section were found to be similar, and the rail joint of sliding type satisfied the design specifications of the track impact factor for a conventional railway track. The experimental results showed that the overall dynamic response of the rail joint were found to be similar to or less than that of the normal rail, therefore the rail joint of sliding type for PRT track system was sufficient to ensure a stability and safety of PRT track system.

The durability of ballast plays an important role in the track behaviour. To estimate the deterioration characteristics of ballast, several tests have been carried out by several scholars. The deterioration characteristics of ballast is one of the most important factor in the dynamic behaviour of track and its life. In this paper abrasion/breakage characteristics of ballast is studied to predict the effect of physical ballast characteristics on ballast track. To reveal deterioration characteristics of ballast, the field test were carried out. The deterioration characteristics, studied in this paper, is applied to the dynamic behaviour of track in various conditions.

현장모형실험을 통한 자갈궤도와 콘크리트궤도의 동결심도 및 동상량 측정 (Field Model Tests on Frost Penetration Depths and Frost Heave Amounts in Ballast track and Concrete track)

  • 철도 현장에 실험용 자갈궤도와 콘크리트궤도를 설치한 후 겨울철에 동결심도와 동상량을 측정하였다. 그 결과 같은 동결지수일 때 자갈궤도보다 콘크리트궤도의 동결심도가 깊게 나타나는 경향을 보였다. 또한 자갈궤도는 하부에 XPS, PE골재층을 포설할 경우 동결심도가 크게 감소하였고, 콘크리트궤도에서는 입도조정층의 두께를 늘릴 경우 동결심도가 감소하는 경향을 보였다. 동상량 역시 자갈궤도에서는 하부에 XPS, PE골재층을 설치할 경우 감소하였고, 콘크리트궤도에서는 입도조정층의 두께를 증가시킬 경우 감소하는 경향을 보였다.

  • To carry out the evaluation of performance of railway product/system, 3 step verification process(design review-lab test-field test) should be done. In advanced countries, for the effective field test, test-only-oriented track have been constructed and used. In Korea, government announced "The construction plan of railroad test track" at 2009.06. This paper will summarize 'need of test track', 'technical meaning of test track', 'current status of foreign test track', 'fundamental plan and process strategy of Korea Railroad Test Track'. It is no need to say that the wisdom of all railroad related people is required for the successful construction and usage of Korea Railroad Test Track.
