현장부설시험을 통한 철도 강화노반공법의 적용성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Applicability of the Reinforced Railroad Roadbed Method by Field Test)

  • The reinforced roadbed should have the ability to spread out the load intensity lower than the bearing capacity of the subgrade of track structure as well as to prevent the softening of roadbed by providing appropriate stiffness in the roadbed, thus fully supports the track structures. Full scale reinforced roadbeds with several different types of monotoring sensors was also constructed to evaluate the performance of each reinforced roadbed through the continuous monitoring while the train operation. In this study, Field tests such as PLT, SASW were also carried out at each reinforced roadbed. The results of the field and lab tests, installation and calibration of sensors, as well as construction condition of the reinforced roadbed are presented.

  • This paper proposes a swing-arm type dual-stage actuator, which consists of a PZT actuator for fine motion and a VCM(Voice Coil Motor) for coarse motion, for SFF ODD(Small Form Factor Optical Disk Drive), in order to achieve fast access speed and precise track following control. We focus our attention on the design and control of the PZT actuator, because there have been a lot of previous researches related to the VCM and dual-stage actuators. Due to the dual cantilever structure, the PZT actuator can generate precise translational tracking motion at its tip where optical pickup is attached at, and the effect of hysteric behavior of the PZT element is reduced. The dynamic model of the PZT actuator is derived by using the Hamilton's principle, and verified by comparing with the experimental frequency response. The sliding mode control is designed in order to be robust against modeling uncertainties. Simulations and experimental results confirm the effectiveness of the suggested control scheme.

  • Application of long-span bridge, which is affected by parameters such as span length, shoe boundary condition, track property and stiffness of superstructure and substructure etc., can vary. Especially, by CWR aspects of the axial force, that can be less constraints of construction depending on whether the application of rail expansion joint(REJ), which has disadvantaged in terms of maintenance. In this study, it was performed parameter study for multiple variables (shaft length, the upper and lower cross-section characteristics, track characteristics, etc.) in terms of CWR aspects. Structure-rail interaction analysis was applied to the typical simple span PSC Box and 3 span continuous bridge Extradosed Bridge(50m+80m+50m) excluding REJ. If you set the boundary e of variables for long-span railway bridge excluding REJ through the this study, when designing future is expected to be able to useful.

  • Recently the construction of railway sections passing the central area of cities and stations under railway lines are increasing, and then it is urgently required to take the countermeasures against the railway vibration and the second-phase noise radiated from it. The most efficient countermeasure, out of technologies developed up to now, is the floating slab track which is the track system isolated from the sub-structure by springs. In other countries, the source technologies for anti-vibration design and vibration isolator - one of key components - have been developed and many installation experiences have been accumulated. However, in Korea, since the system design technology and technologies for key components are not yet developed, the foreign system are being introduced without any adjustment, and the key component, vibration isolator, depends on imports. In this study, floating slab was divided into three spans, $k_{dynamic}$ use by examining reactions and member forces was to ensure safety.

  • In the case of a rail road bridge extension work, especially single track to double track, the foundation of new substructure which supports the extended part of superstructure could be interfered by the exist foundation of an old bridge. When these two foundations are jointed to prevent such fatal effects of the structure as unequal subsidence of soil foundations, it is important to prove the structural behaviour of the joining surfaces between new foundation and old foundation. 3-Dimensional Finite Element Analysis Method have been studied for the solutions of the structural behaviour of the foundations. In this analysis, 'Contact Element' which allows the sliding of each adjoining member is used for the joint of the boundary surface of the old and new pier foundations. Furthermore, Material Nonlinear Behaviour Analysis also supports the accuracy of the result in this study because the foundations consist of concrete main bodies and reinforced steel bars. These detailed analyses secure the verification of the structural safety of the foundations in the extension work more firmly.

  • The importance of maintenance of rail surface defects is increasing more according to the KTX operation. That is because during high speed operation of rolling stock, rail surface defects may cause shortened fatigue life of rail, acceleration of track degradation and reduced ride comfort. The paper was intended to study the establishment of rail grinding criteria of high-speed railway lines considering the KTX operation circumstances. For this, the specimens of UIC 60 rail on Kyeong-Bu high-speed operation lines were collected and they were analyzed for metallographic structure and tested for the hardness. By analyzing the test results to the factors affecting the RCF causing the defects of rail surface, the study suggested the rail grinding criteria of the domestic high speed railway lines. As the factors affecting RCF, passing tonnage, running speed and track condition are considered.

  • Generally superconducting generators(S. G.'s) will be classified into 2 types according to their field coil shape. The first one is race-trace type and the other is saddle type. Race-track type S.G.'s have almost the same structure with conventional salient pole generators which are being used as largely small scale machines with more than 4 poles. On the other hand saddle type S.G.'s correspond to conventional cylindrical generators with 2 poles used for large turbines in power plants. In this paper 1MVA S.G. with saddle type field coil is electromagnetically designed and based on the research results from development of 30kVA S.G. with race-track type field oils in our group. other parts such as cooling systems and power leads are presented.

  • Polymeric suspended insulators for subway and electrical track line had been designed and manufactured. The main elements to design polymeric insulators were the insulation ability and the optimal structure. To get the insulation ability, electrical and mechanical tests according to standards had done on housing rubbers and FRP cores and selected the sample with best properties as a insulator. The insulator shape and fitting parts with minimum electrical stress was simulated by FEM electrical field analysis program. The manufactured insulator set had been tested and estimated the electrical and mechanical according to ES and KS, and showed good characteristics in these tests.

족저 압력분포 평가를 위한 Foot Track System의 개발 (Development of the foot track system for the evaluation of foot plantar surface pressure distribution)

  • The distribution of the pressure between the sole of a feet and a supporting surface can reveal the information about the structure and fonction of the foot and the posural control of the whole body. In particular, the measurement of the vertical contact forces between the plantar surface of the foot and the shoe insole is of great importance to reveal the loading distributio patterns incurred from a particular shoe midsole design. In order to investigate the plantar surface pressure distribution, an insole-type sensor with a piezoelectric material is developed and tested. The present paper describes a new method to completely reduce both the shear force and pyroelectric effects that are normally caused from piezoelectric materials.

  • In this study, to describe vehicle-track-bridge dynamic interaction phenomena with 1/4 vehicle model, nonlinear Hertzian contact spring and nonlinear contact damper are introduced. In this approach external loads acting on 1/4 vehicle model are self weight of vehicle and geometry information of running surface. The constraint equation on contact surface is implemented by Penalty method. Also, to improve the numerical stability and to maintain accuracy of solution, the artificial damper and the reaction from constraint violation are introduced. A nonlinear time integration method, in this study, Newmark method is adopted for both equations of vehicles and structure. And to reduce the error caused by inadequate time step size, adaptive time-stepping technique is partially introduced. As the nonlinear Hertzian contact spring has no resistance to tensile force, the bouncing phenomena of wheelset can be described. Thus, it is expected that more versatile dynamic interaction phenomena can be described by this approach and it can be applied to various railway dynamic problems.
