The purpose of this study was to measure the estimated coefficient and marginal willingness to pay of attribute level: origin logo, origin description, traditional food, fusion food, service guarantee, and price, which influence tourist preference for restaurants. Also, the study identified the attribute which confers the highest importance to tourists. Conjoint experiment and the ordinal probit model were used for this study. A total of 210 surveys were conducted by tourists. The findings from this study were as follows. First, the effects of all attributes on tourist preference for restaurants were statistically significant. Second, tourists regarded an origin logo as the very important attribute, and were more willing to pay for the case where the menu contained origin logo. These findings suggested new marketing opportunities for restaurant managers. Although this study provides some evidence on the value of the local product brand to tourists, a similar measure has not been developed for local residents. This is an area in need of future research.

The study's goal is to determine how factors affecting tourism resilience during the COVID-19 pandemic affect Ho Chi Minh Tourism's ability to respond to changes and disruptions. The model and research hypotheses were tested using Multiple Regression Analysis Models. The statistical findings showed that the tourism resilience components have a significant influence on the tourism resilience in Ho Chi Minh city. The analyses revealed that tourism resilience consisted of four latent dimensions. There are 4 explanatory variables with a significance coefficient < 0.05. Therefore, the variables Economic resilience, Ecological resilience, Institutional resilience, and Social resilience all have a significant impact on tourist resilience, which is consistent with Jamaliah and Powell (2017). The findings have important managerial implications for local governments, as well as factors that contribute to tourism resilience, as they must attempt to adapt to changes and turbulences during a pandemic, ensuring that the tourism system rebounds in the future. The four components of tourist resilience are defined in the theoretical contribution. The findings of the study could serve as a starting point for developing future tourist resilience strategies. Because the application of tourist resilience theory is still relatively new, this study presents two theoretical and methodological contributions.

These days, the sports industry and related industries are growing very fast due to active sports participation. Recently, tourism products that integrate tourism with sport have already appeared. The products include tourism behavior, such as sports activities, sports spectating, and visiting sports memorial halls and museums, etc. This study examined the relationship among the tourist behavior, sports spectating factors, and team association components. Based on the theoretical study, a field survey was performed by questionnaires. The sports spectating factors and team association components have a slight influence on the tourist behavior after analysis using the SPSS program. The implications are as follows. First, sports teams should make efforts not only on the team's win at the sports game, but also to develop marketing strategies about the sports complex, and star players of their team. Second, sports teams have to develop tourist products that collaborate with the local tourism industry linked to tourist attractions, accommodations, souvenir shop, and entertainment facilities for sports spectators.
This study is to analyse spatial impacts of tourism on fishing villages in Jeju island. The analysis shows that the location of tourist function - sea or land - has an influence on spatial use of pre-tourist and tourist function. The locational changes of tourist function are to be the indicator of the developmental stages, the uses of 'where' to be the phases, the uses of 'where' and 'what' to be the process in the spatial impacts of tourism on fishing villages. The phases are 'time combination $\longrightarrow$spatial combination $\longrightarrow$time combination', the process is 'widened range.diversification $\longrightarrow$ range.specialization' according as the tourist function of the sea changes into the land. This is to be risk management of the tourist function.
This paper analyzes determinants of tourist consumption in the case of 2013 Gangneung Dano Festival, based on the multiple regression model. We set 12 determinants of consumption such as income as explanatory variables and consumption expenditure as a dependent variable. Also Five kinds of categorical consumptions are estimated. Main results are the followings. First, income is the most important factor and shows positive effect in tourist consumption. Second, age and metropolitan area influence consumption positively. Third number of participating day and length of stay also influence consumption positively. Fourth, number of accompanying person shows negative effect on consumption. Fifth, male, married person, and lodge with own expense influence consumption positively. Finally, categorical consumption has its specific determinants distinct from common factors This paper can be applied to invent and implement efficient strategies for development in regional economies and tour industries.

The purpose of this study was to forecast which factors provided satisfaction for the foreign medical tourist. The study concluded that the following key factors most affected the satisfaction of medical tourism: total travel budget, number of visits for medical services, occupation, education, monthly household income, budget for medical expenses, and the visiting period. Overall satisfaction of medical tourism explained was 43.5%. The influence of satisfaction on medical tourism through a word-of-mouth and the revisit intention was significant. These conclusions suggest that overall satisfaction with medical tourism based on this study's key factors may be an important factor for increasing the word-of-mouth and the revisit intention by the medical tourist in the future.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of architectural attributes on operating revenue by concentrating on the facility side and to investigate how much individual architectural factors can affect operating revenue. The time range of this study is limited to 2015, and the spatial range is limited to a tourist hotel in Seoul that can be easily surveyed and verified. The analysis method is to confirm the significance and influence of each attribute through regression analysis. According to the results, The room part such as number of rooms or area showed a relatively low correlation with "revenue per available room (Rev.PAR)" than "average daily rate (ADR)", but showed a high correlation with non - architectural attributes such as auxiliary facilities and chain. This shows that factors that influence the operating profit of hotel are not the part of the room but the other factors such as the auxiliary facilities work more. In addition, the presence of spa and the number of auxiliary facilities in the hotel have a positive effect on the operating profit of the hotel due to the non - architectural attributes. This is expected to provide a new direction for future research in studying hotel facilities.
According to the definition of 'native local food', Jeju has combined its regional specialty products with its own cooking method. It has almost four-hundred kinds, which reflects regional specialty and diversity, yet it is not very well-known. Thus, this present study provides basic research information through the investigation of tourist awareness, intention to consume, drawbacks, development necessity and direction of development of Jeju local foods. The survey was conducted with 295 domestic tourists who had visited Jeju in the last 10 years. In response to a question asked about the consciousness of Jeju local foods, 67.8% of respondents chose average, indicating a relatively high cause for concern. Intention to consume averaged 3.26, which was higher than tourist awareness, having an average of 2.60. Furthermore, local food interest and demographic characteristics of respondents were found to have an influence on tourist awareness and intention to consume. 87.8% of respondents answered above average with respect to the drawbacks of Jeju's local foods and development necessity and direction, with the main drawbacks being lack of PR (43.1%) and high price (39.0%). The priority of most respondents was the quality and taste of the food (50.8%). Based on the results of this study, if tourist awareness can be effectively increased, an escalation in intent to consume will follow, naturally promoting the consumption of Jeju's local foods. Consequentially, for tourism commercialization, the quality and taste of the foods have to be improved in addition to the gain in popularity through efficient PR methods.
This study aimed to redefine the concept of fishing village tourism. In addition, it aimed to carry out detailed analyses of the influences of authenticity and non-authenticity of fishing village experience on tourist's satisfaction as well as the influences of tourist's experience on their satisfaction. The study evaluated responses of people who visited research target fishing villages in the East sea area(Hwasung-si Baegmi-ri) which had been rated as successful case. The evaluation was performed to analyze how tourist satisfaction would be influenced by the authenticity of the fishing village experience program based on the authenticity theory(Wang, 1999) and the experience realms theory(Pine & Gilmore, 1999). This study tried to find out realistic factors of the experience realms theory through field investigation, conducting interviews, and holding discussions. From these, the cause-and-effect structure of authenticity, tourism experience and satisfaction could be identified. The results of hypothesis tests are as follows; With respect to the relationship between authenticity and satisfaction in hypothesis I, authenticity did not have a statistically significant effect on satisfaction, while non-authenticity had a significant influence. As a result, the research hypothesis I that authenticity influences satisfaction was partially supported. Regarding hypothesis II of the link between authenticity and tourism experience, a significant effect of authenticity was found in education experience, entertainment experience for Baegmi-ri village. The effect of non-authenticity was significant on deviation experience. Consequently, hypothesis II was also partly supported. The relationship between tourism experience and satisfaction in hypothesis III was significant in education, entertainment, and deviation experiences which lends support to hypothesis III to some extent.
