  • The purpose of this study is as follows: First, to analyze the spatial structure of Jeju by analyzing the rate of parking demand and supply; Second, to determine the parking service imbalance between regions; and third, to elucidate the causes of this spatial structural parking service imbalance and provide effective measures. Due to the rapid population and tourism growth, Jeju is suffering from traffic congestion and serious parking problems. For this, the ways to efficiently utilize the existing parking spaces were identified through spatial structure analysis based on the parking demand and supply in the Jeju area. As short-term policy, the following changes were proposed: switching to small-scale eup or myeon blocks of parking space, use of shared parking system, and repairing side streets in residential areas. As mid-to-long-term policy, it is linked to other means of transportation as follows: parking demand management policy through modal share by reorganizing public transportation routes or expanding traffic facilities; securing park-and-ride lots; and different parking pricing for different time periods. To implement these policies, each area of the public sector, private sector, and private-public partnership should develop the bond of sympathy by areas and participants.

  • Despite the growing importance of video-based social media content, such as vlogs, as a marketing tool in the travel industry, there is limited research on the characteristics that enhance engagement among potential travelers. This study explores the influence of emotional valence in YouTube travel content on viewer engagement, specifically likes and comments. We analyzed 4,619 travel-related YouTube videos from eight popular tourist cities. Using negative binomial regression analysis, we found that both positive and negative emotions significantly influence the number of likes received. Videos with higher positive emotions as well as negative emotions receive more likes. However, when it comes to the number of comments, only negative emotions showed a significant positive influence, while positive emotions had no significant impact. These findings offer valuable insights for marketers seeking to optimize engagement strategies on YouTube, considering the unique nature of travel products. Further research into the effects of specific emotions on engagement is warranted to improve marketing strategies. This study highlights the powerful impact of emotions on viewer engagement in the context of social media, particularly on YouTube.

  • This study was designed to insist on the need of introducing the position of dramaturgs as professionals at performance venues. A dramaturg is a professional staff member that proposes an artistic orientation in the making process of performing arts works such as play and dance. Dramaturgs are divided into production dramaturgs participating in individual works and permanent dramaturgs resident in the theater. In the present study, discussions developed around plans to make use of permanent dramaturgs at local public theaters. The study introduced the advantages of the dramaturg position at culture and arts centers serving as a public theater in the community and proposed institutional improvement measures for it. At a culture and arts center, a dramaturg will play the roles of expanding culture and arts service to local residents, increasing creative chances for local artists, contribution to the vitalization of local culture, and narrowing the cultural gap between the Seoul metropolitan region and the rest of the nation. The introduction of a permanent dramaturg system should be supported by efforts across various aspects including the revision of Culture and Arts Promotion Act and Public Performance Act, improvement of the management system of culture and arts centers, change of performance evaluation methods for performance venues, and introduction of a cultivation course for the public sector.

The results were as follows: First, Torreya nucifera forest is concerned about influence of development caused by utilization of land changes to agricultural region. Thus, establish to preservation management plan for preservation of prototypical and should be excluded development activity to cause the change of terrain that Gotjawal in the Torreya nucifera forest is factor of base for generating species diversity. Secondly, Torreya nucifera forest summarized as 402 taxa composed 91 familly 263 genus, 353 species, 41 varieties and 8 forms. The distribution of plants for the first grade & second grade appear of endangered plant to Ministry of Environment specify. But, critically endangered in forest by changes in habitat, diseases and illegal overcatching. Therefore, when establishing forest management plan should be considered for put priority on protection. Thirdly, Torreya nucifera representing the upper layer of the vegetation structure. But, old tree oriented management and conservation strategy result in poor age structure. Furthermore, desiccation of forest on artificial management and decline in Torreya nucifera habitat on ecological succession can indicate a problem in forest. Therefore, establish plan such as regulation of population density and sapling tree proliferation for sustainable characteristics of the Torreya nucifera forest. Fourth, Appear to damaged of trails caused by use. Especially, Scoria way occurs a lot of damaged and higher than the share ratio of each section. Therefore, share ratio reduction Plan should be considered through the additional development of tourism routes rather than the replacement of Scoria. Fifth, Representing high preference of the Torreya nucifera forest tourist factor confirmed the plant elements. It is sensitive to usage pressure. And requires continuous monitoring by characteristic of Non-permanent. In addition, need an additional plan such as additional development of tourism elements and active utilizing an element of high preference. Sixth, Strength of protected should be differently accordance with importance. First grade area have to maintenance of plant population and natural habitats. Set the direction of the management. Second grade areas focus on annual regeneration of the forest. Third grade area should be utilized demonstration forest or set to the area for proliferate sapling. Fourth grade areas require the introduced of partial rest system that disturbance are often found in proper vegetation. Fifth grade area appropriate to the service area for promoting tourism by utilizing natural resources in Torreya nucifera forest. • This research was completed to provide fundamental data regarding the guidelines to installing and managing utility facilities & structures in wetland protected area to advance the functions and sustainable use of ecology services by preserving the ecology within wetland protected area. There were 5 on-site researching areas that were used as the main subject with these areas chosen and considered from 21 inland wetlands that have been designated and are being managed from the Ministry of Environment and by their designated dates as a wetland protected area. The utility facilities in these wetland areas were categorized by their types and a detailed on-site investigation was proceeded with investigation items chosen whereas these facilities are working by their roles from their location, size, used materials, types, information contents and etc., The results showed that regarding informational structures, several locations of information boards were distanced from the main exploring routes which did not consider the visitor's eye level which had their readability dropped and by sunlight, time lapse and water penetration, many information boards were damaged or corrupted so that it was hard to confirm the information noticed or understanding an image. Insufficient observation and educational structures were installed that considered the ecological characteristics of wild animals and their living conditions. Regarding convenience facilities, there were parking lots that were installed on the fore-land and to decrease non-point solution sources, some parking lots needed to be located in protected lowlands while some facilities' shape and colors did not harmonize with their natural surroundings, creating a sense of awareness, which will need some more consideration. As for safety facilities, they were very insufficient compared to other facilities. This means that additional safety structures are needed so that related personnel can be aware of where a visitor is located when an accident occurs. Protectional facilities strongly needed new structures and a management system to cut off entrances and do surveillance so that visitors do not go into areas outside of the managed areas and bring damages to restricted locations. Research labs needed to expand the use of automatic weather systems and water gauge equipments to build fundamental data regarding floodgates that are intimated to the forming of wetlands. Sensor cameras and other types of monitoring systems are needed to monitor the majority types of animals living in the wetlands as well.

  • India has recently experienced an acute crisis confronting the COVID-19 pandemic as confirmed cases exceeded 11.73 million in March 2021, which was the second worst scale only after the United States. The strict lockdown measures as well as the pandemic itself posed a serious threat of survival, in particular, to immigrant workers engaged in informal sectors, which triggered their reverse immigration. In case the COVID-19 pandemic continues in 2021, it is estimated that in the sector of tourism and service alone, more than 20 million jobs will disappear. The damage on industry is already being realized with the significant decrease of workforce. It is important to note, however, that jobless growth and labor polarization were observed even before the outbreak of COVID-19, and that the pandemic only served as one of the trigger catalysts that made those submerged problems burst out. In this study, we examine the structural problems in industry and labor market in India and consider the social context and efficacy of the "Make in India" or "Atmanirbhar Bhrat" policy. The latter initiative was presented in the trenches of the pandemic in 2020. While considering the complexity of problems, we would like to pursue a future-oriented approach and propose a direction in restructuring the labor market, attempted at reversing the critical conditions following the fourth industrial revolution and digitization into the shortcut to labor market restructuring.

  • Article 31(1) of the Libraries Act(Act No. 18547), which was completely revised on December 7, 2021, stipulates that "the head of a local government or the superintendent of a city/provincial office of education must formulate a plan for the establishment and operation of a public library in advance and obtain the pre-evaluation of the feasibility of establishing a public library from the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism." Through the preliminary feasibility evaluation at the construction stage of the public library, it is possible to adjust distribution to improve the adequacy of scale and resolve regional imbalances and gaps. In addition, it is expected to increase service satisfaction and operational enhancement by inducing faithful securing of core infrastructure (librarians, collection, facilities, systems, etc.) in terms of balanced regional development and public library construction. The purpose of this study is to develop and present the basic direction and feasibility evaluation model for establishment of public libraries. The proposed evaluation model is expected to secure the legal basis and institutional legitimacy of the pre-evaluation system for public library establishment and to prevent waste of tax due to poor construction and operation of public libraries.

  • The study explores the way how sharing economy services of accommodation and car rental, one of social issues actively discussed today are settled in the process of sharing economy building in local destinations. The result shows that average consumers expressed their favorable attitude toward the sharing economy services. However, the consumer's attitude didn't directly affect the consumer's positive perception that there is need for local sharing economy service network and the educational system for local residents and the network helps the economy. Instead consumer's knowledge of sharing economy services and their eagerness to learn the knowledge as parameters related the consumer's attitude to their perceptions; the consumer's attitude affected indirectly their perceptions. The study shows that local communities and their residents' efforts are not enough simply to activate the sharing economy services in the development process of tourist resources, while it asks consumers to learn information and knowledge of the sharing economy. Therefore, consumers and residents should interact and communicate closely with each other to help the development of local destinations and tourist resources based on sharing economy.
