The Relationship among Self Efficacy, Emotional Labor, Organizational Commitment and Job Satisfaction of Medical Tourism Employees (자기효능감, 감정노동, 조직몰입 및 직무만족의 관계 : 의료관광종사원을 대상으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to find out the relationship among self-efficacy, emotional labor, organizational commitment and job satisfaction of medical tourism employees. This survey was conducted from March 2 to March 31, 2018 and targeting medical tourism employees who work at hospitals, travel agencies, medical tourism agencies and consulting firms in Seoul. 282 questionnaires were analyzed using SPSS 12.0 and AMOS 18.0. The result of this study is as follows. First, self-efficacy positively influenced on emotional labor and organizational commitment. Second, self-efficacy positively influenced on all job satisfaction factors as like job itself satisfaction, salary/promotion satisfaction and relationship satisfaction. Third, deep acting factor of emotional labor positively influenced on job itself satisfaction and relationship satisfaction. Forth, job itself satisfaction and relationship satisfaction positively influenced on organizational commitment. These research findings can be summarized as follows. Medical tourism employees of hospitals, travel agencies, medical tourism agencies and consulting firms have to be supported greatly to improve their own job competency and job qualifications. Second, medical tourism organizations try to understand the real emotion of medical tourism employees when they are dealing with medical tourists. Third, medical tourism employees have to be recognized their job performance and provided suitable incentives for the results. The findings of this study provide practical implications about strategical human resource management of medical tourism agencies. Moreover, it will be useful for hospitals and government officials to establish a management framework in medical tourism industry.

The Effect of Rural Tourism Village Servicescape on Tourist Satisfaction and Behavior Intention (농촌관광마을 서비스스케이프지각이 만족과 행동의도에 미치는 영향)

  • This study was performed with 239 dwellers who live in the city, visited rural tourism village. This study investigated the relationship of servicescape perception of rural tourism village and tourist satisfaction and behavior intention. The servicescape factors of rural tourism village consist of artificial factors and social factors. Social factors affect more total satisfaction, service satisfaction and environmental satisfaction more than artificial factors, but facilities satisfaction is more affected by artificial factors than Social factors. Total satisfaction and service satisfaction and environmental satisfaction influence behavior intention but facilities satisfaction does not. Total satisfaction has the biggest influence on behavior intention. This means that for successful rural tourism village development, social factors should be considered than artificial factors.

Effects of Tourism Storytelling on Satisfaction and Behavioral Intention of Chinese Tourists in Jeju (관광스토리텔링이 제주 방문 중국관광객의 관광만족도와 행동의도에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this research is to analyze the factor of tourism storytelling through literature review, to figure out the relations of tourism storytelling-tourism satisfaction and tourism satisfaction -behavior intention. The total number of the questionnaire copies handed out was 440, and the 384 copies of them (the 184copies from Chinese tourists, and 200copies from Korean tourists) were used for the analysis. The results were as follows. First, it was found that the factor of tourism storytelling has influence on tourism satisfaction. Second, it was also found that the tourism satisfaction has influence on behavioral intention as well. And based on the above results, the research has figured out what factors of tourism storytelling mostly affect tourism satisfaction. By comparing Chinese and Korean tourist, and ultimately, suggested the best way to utilize this storytelling idea in a tourist area.

Qualitative Study on the Satisfaction and Dissatisfaction of Water Leisure Tourism Participants in Busan Area (부산지역 해양레저관광 참여자의 만족 및 불만족에 관한 질적 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to verify the formation of satisfaction and dissatisfaction of water leisure tourism participants in Busan area using qualitative study method approach. Research participants were selected 6 water leisure tourism participants by reputational sampling method. Six participants who usually participated in water leisure tourism were selected as research participants. The data for this study included participants' observation and in-depth interview. This study categorized the coding paradigm which was presented by using the findings derived from water leisure tourism background. The results based on in-depth interview were as follows. First, water leisure tourism participants recognized environmental satisfaction of environmentally safe pleasure. Second, water leisure tourism participants recognized social satisfaction of change for leisure recognition. Third, water leisure tourism participants recognized facilities and program satisfaction of clearness and systematic programs. Fourth, water leisure tourism participants recognized instructor satisfaction of kindness and professional. Fifth, water leisure tourism participants recognized safety dissatisfaction of safety ignorance. Sixth, water leisure tourism participants recognized amenities dissatisfaction of lacking convenience. Seventh, water leisure tourism participants recognized accessibility dissatisfaction of public transportations.

Factor of Tourism Attraction and Tourism Satisfaction in Jeju Island - Focused on Tourist - (제주 마라도의 관광만족도와 관광 유인요인 연구 - 관광객을 중심으로 -)

  • This study aims to examine factor of tourism attraction and tourism satisfaction in order to product plan of tourism policies related to architecture and urban design focused on Marado, Jeju Island. For that, a questionnaire is conducted by tourists who visit to Marado. The results are as follows. 30s and 40s tourists evaluate that Marado is more attractive in natural environment rather than 60s. Tourists who visit more than four times to Marado evaluated low in satisfaction for landscape of Marado but tourists who reside in other area not Jeju evaluate higher in satisfaction for landscape. The difference of residence areas shows same result in tourism attraction factors. Tourists participating in tour activities show higher in satisfaction rather than no-participants but the difference between participants and no-participants is not showed in tourism attraction factors. Tourism attraction is extracted four factors; natural environment, architectural environment, economic efficiency and psychological factor. The factors of natural environment and architectural environment have the relation with satisfaction but the factors of economic efficiency and psychology do not show no relation with satisfaction.

The Effect of Gyeryongsan National Park Visitors' Tourism Motivation on Satisfaction and Behavior Intention: Moderation Effect of Tourism Purpose (계룡산 국립공원 방문객의 관광동기가 만족도 및 행동의도에 미치는 영향 - 관광 목적을 조절효과로 -)

  • This study aims at examining the effect of Gyeryongsan national park visitors' tourism motivation on satisfaction and behavior intention based on conducted questionnaires. According to the empirical analyses, two effects were drawn. The results are as follows: First, the effect of tourism motivation on satisfaction and behaviour intention: Second, the moderation effect of tourism purpose on tourism motivation, satisfaction, and behavior intention. According to hypothesis testing for this study, physical motivation and personal motivation influenced satisfaction in terms of tourism motivation and satisfaction for the national park destinations. In addition, physical motivation and personal motivation affected behaviour intention in terms of tourism motivation and behaviour intention for the tourism destinations. Tourist satisfaction, besides, had a significant effect on revisit and word-of-mouth intention. Finally, moderate variables of tourism purpose had a significant influence on tourism motivation, satisfaction, and behaviour intention.

Achieving Local Residents' Support for Tourism Development through Community Satisfaction and Government Trust

  • The purposes of the study are (1) to explore relationships amongst attitudes to positive/negative tourism impacts, community satisfaction, government trust, and support for tourism development and (2) to provide practical implications for policy makers how they can gain residents' support by increasing community satisfaction and government trust, which are resulted from attitudes to tourism impacts. A questionnaire is self-administered to local residents using a systematic sampling method in Ninh Hai Commune, Hoa Lu District, Ninh Binh Province, Vietnam. The results indicate community satisfaction and government trust are core factors of support for tourism development. The study highlights that to attain community satisfaction and government trust, the policy makers should especially increase positive socio-cultural and environmental impacts and minimize negative economic impacts on the community simultaneously.

  • The Influences of the Ecotourism Motive, on the Attitude, Resource Interpretation and Satisfaction of Tourist Ecotourism has been recently introduced to maintain the relation of mutual dependence between the tourism and the natural environment. However it is adversely used and creates the destruction of ecosystem. It is Important that the ecotourism is a tourism which tourists can experience and enjoy themselves on site rather than a tourism which they only see and hear, understand. It is assumed that a method should be found to maximize toursist' satisfaction and that the presentation of interpretation of the tourism resource may satisfy the tourist's satisfaction. The results offer the suggestion points as follows. 1. By providing the interpretation of tourism resource as well as the recreational object, the ecotourism can be activated with a sound recognition of nature and the reservation of environment, and furthermore, the development policy may be based on not only the area of ecotourism but also all of the tour area. 2. By providing the interpretation service of tourism resource for tourists, the satisfaction can be maximized by the high cognition of tourist. 3. By providing the information about the tourism destination and resource, it will contribute to the side of education, it will contribute the preservation of resource and the reservation of environment.   • The purpose of this study is to define determinants of tourists' behavior focused on tourism omni-channel and to verify the relationship between tourism information search motivation, tourism omni-channel satisfaction, tourism experience and perceived risk. We presented the hypotheses including ease of use, trust and satisfaction and also analyzed the moderator effects of tourism experience and perceived risk(financial risk, psychological risk) variables. For an accuracy of expected results, we focused on survey with 298 respondents. Based upon prior studies, it is meaningful that this study verified 1) the positive relationship between tourism information search motivation and tourism omni-channel satisfaction and 2) the significant moderating effect of financial risk on the relationship between tourism information search motivation and tourism omni-channel satisfaction.

  • The main purpose of this paper is to investigate the relationship between website environmental characteristics (website characteristics, user characteristics, and external environments), satisfaction, trust and loyalty in tourism e-business. The following results were determined by verifying five hypotheses using LISREL. Website environments partially support perceived satisfaction and also perceived trust. Satisfaction has a strong effect upon perceived trust while satisfaction doesn't effect perceived loyalty. Trust significantly impacts perceived loyalを in tourism e-business.
