제주특별자치도 관광패키지상품 가격 평가: 전망이론을 적용하여 (Price Evaluations on Tourist of Jeju Tourism Package Product: Focused on Prospect Theory)

  • 본 논문은 제주관광과 직 간접적적으로 연계되어 있는 관광패키지 가격 메커니즘의 의사결정에 관한 연구로 제주도 관광패키지 12개의 상품을 선정하여 전망이론에 기초한 심리적 회계원칙과 프레이밍 효과를 One Way ANOVA 검정방법으로 분석하고 있다. 분석 결과, 첫째, 관광패키지 리스트가격정보를 제시할 때 묶음가격으로 제시하는 마케팅 전략이 필요하다. 둘째, 할인가격 정보는 기본패키지와 옵션패키지의 개별할인 정보를 단위별로 세분하여 공개하는 것이 바람직하다. 셋째, 가격(가격할인)정보 제공에서 관광상품 구매경험이 풍부한 관광객들은 경험이 적은 고객들보다 가격정보에 민감한 것으로 나타나 "프레이밍 효과"와 "지식-조합이론"이 일치하는 결과가 도출되었다. 따라서 리스트가격정보는 묶음가격으로 제시하는 한편, 가격할인상품은 할인정보를 어떠한 프레임으로 제시하느냐가 중요하며, 현대인의 관광상품 구매 관점을 파악하는 것과 시간, 노력, 바용 등이 절약될 수 있는 여행서비스상품을 제공하여 심리적 회계원칙에 안정감을 주는 것이 필요한 것으로 분석되었다.

  • The interest in wine has been increasing because of raised standard of living, increased leisure time, raised interest in health. Therefore, a few wine related tourism product has introduced to public including wine train to Young-dong region and overseas wine tour package. This study focused on motivation to visit overseas wine tour package in order to segment target wine tourism countries. As a result, three different markets were segmented and they showed different characteristics with regard to demographics, tourism behavior, and preferred wine tourism countries.

  • Medical tourism is a contemporary phenomenon which has its roots in both tourism and health care industry. This market has grown significantly' for the last 10 years. The purpose of this study is to suggest strategies to develop medical tourism in Korea by studying cases of the medical tourism developed countries such as Singapore, Malaysia, India, Thailand as well as analysis medical tourists who has visited to H university hospital. In total of 254 medical tourists were analysed and the results of the study are followed: Korean government need to appease medical law to be able to attract more medical tourists; medical industry and tourism industry need to develop Korean specialized medical tourism package, Middle-Eastern markets, where the oil money exists, should be developed.

패키지 관광 상품에 포함된 관광목적지들 간의 사회 네트워크 분석 (A Social Network Analysis of Tourism Destinations in Package Tourism Products)

  • 본 연구는 사회네트워크 분석을 활용해 패키지 관광 상품 안에 포함된 관광 목적지들의 구성 패턴과 POI(point of interests)를 도출하고 관광 패키지 상품으로 구성된 관광 목적지 별 특징을 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해, 여행사에서 판매하는 패키지 관광 상품을 조사한 후, Pajek, Cytoscape, UCINET을 활용하여 밀도, 집중도, 중심성, 관심지점 설정, 컴퍼넌트 등의 분석을 하였다. 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 관광목적지 네트워크는 관광 목적지들 간의 연결이 고르게 이루어 진 것을 알 수 있었다. 둘째, 중심성 값을 통해 연결정도 중심성이 높으면, 매개 중심성 또한 높음을 발견하였다. 셋째, 관심지점 설정 결과, 관광 목적지 안의 관심지점은 널리 퍼져있는 것이 아닌 가까운 거리에 모여 있는 것을 발견하였다. 끝으로, 하위 네트워크 분석 결과, 관광 목적지 네트워크는 하위 집단간 파편화가 일어난 것으로 분석되었다.

Hotel Reservation Service, Customer Expectations, Brand Attachment, and Brand Loyalty: Effects of Package Product Reservation

  • Purpose - This study examines various reservation service components that would increase customers' brand attachment and loyalty, while discussing how reservation service components would affect the customer behaviors. Research design, data, and methodology - This study theoretically analyzed the hotel package product reservation system, the customer expectations, the brand attachment, and the brand loyalty, while reviewing previous studies. Results - This study analyzed the distribution channels of the hotel package products from various angles and, as for more extensive research, the study explained the different results caused by each different reservation system type that may be preferred by each individual customer. Conclusions - It was confirmed that, of the hotel reservation service components, the convenience factors, the reliability factors, the information factors, and the other factors other than the human factors, have a significant influence on the customer expectations. Further, the study also revealed that the customer expectation has an important effect on the brand attachment. In addition, the study improved the prevailing understanding on the relation between the brand attachment and the brand loyalty.

농촌지역 관광지개발에 있어 관광권 설정에 관한 연구 -전남 회남로를 사례로- (A Study on Development of Touristic Subregions in Rural Area - Case Study in the Haenahm County, Chonnam -)

  • This study was carried out in the Haenahm county as a part of project, the'89 Comprehensive Planning of Rural Area. In order to increase household income of rural area and to meet increasing tourism demand in urban area, several tourism development directions and strategies were suggested in terms of resources, services, and transportation. The major results of this study are summarized as follows ; 1) Core tourism market has to be maintained by inforcement of unique image of the Haenahm county, such as the southern extremeity of Korean peninsula and tourism resources rich land. 2) New tourism products need to be introduced to attract fringe market of this area by use of natural and cultural resources in the Haenahm county, such as terrain, climate, provincial park, music, dance and artifacts. 3) image of this county as a touristic resort would be escalated by development of high quality andclusterized accommodation in urbanized area of the Haenahm county 4) Development of private lodging, production of local brand by native food, beverage and artifacts, introduction of festival by folk song and folk dance would be helpful to stabilize a seasonal fluctuating demand level of ourismandlocalresidentsincome. 5) Diversification of tourism product needs to be provided for tourists in order to increase chances for enjoyment in the destination and to be involved in socially comfortable atmosphere. 6) Package tour by diversification of touristic subregions in this county and linkage system with touristic regions of other counties would helpful to lead visitors to stay long, resulting in increased expenditure.

해양관광 사이트의 전자상거래 지원지능에 대한 실태 및 개선방안 (A Study on the Status Quo and the Improvements of Blue Tourism Websites in the Context of Electronic Commerce)

  • To develop an blue tourism website(BTW) for electronic commerce(EC), information requirements of BTW are defined firstly. We defined information requirements of BTW from two aspects, i.e., front office and back office. Information requirements for front office were derived by consumer purchasing decision process. And information requirements for back office were derived by tourism value chain. Total 29 functions are identified as critical EC related functions of BTW. Among them, 25 functions were investigated into BTW. BTWs were searched by search engines - Yahoo and Empas - to Korean websites. There are 12 specialized BTWs, except one cyber museum website. For 12 websites, 25 functions were probed. By the results, in need recognition stage of blue tourism, only weather information was provided in most websites. In information search stage of blue tourism, package recommendation and various contents were provided in most websites. In consumption stage of blue tourism, traffic information were provided in most websites. And in after - sales service stage of blue tourism, bulletin board function was implemented in most websites. The rest of the functions were scarcely implemented. On the whole, it was concluded that most EC related functions of BTW in Korea were not implemented properly. To improve the status quo, it is expected in the dimension of individual website, that marketing planning, customized service, intelligent service, reinforcing purchasing assistance functions, customer relationship management, and escrow service etc. need to be implemented. And it is expected in the dimension of blue tourism industry, that standardizing product catalog, security assistance policy, information sharing by industrial database, finding referral model of BTW, elevating information mind, revising related laws etc. are needed.

쇼핑정보원 활용에 따른 해외여행자 시장세분화 및 세분시장 특성 연구 (Tourism Market Segmentation Based on Shopping Information Sources)

  • This study confirmed the types of shopping information sources during travel abroad, and developed a profile of tourists in terms of demographics, travel, and shopping behavior. Shopping information sources and characteristics of shopping products were identified first. Thereafter, travelers were segmented by their information-seeking behavior. An online survey method was used to get data from Korean vacationers in their 20s-50s, while factor analysis, cluster analysis, ${\chi}^2$ test and ANOVA were applied to analyze data. The results were as follows. First, the shopping information sources of overseas tourists were composed of four factors including sources from travel agents/media, information from travel books and local sources, and word-of-mouth sources. Also, four factors in product types and four product attributes were identified. Second, tourists were clustered into two groups, active and passive shopping information seekers, based on shopping source behavior. Third, two groups differed in terms of demographics, showing an older age and higher income for active shopping source seekers. Active shopping information users tended to join package trips with family members, and they were more satisfied with the trip. With regard to shopping, active shopping source seekers spent more money for shopping and preferred all kinds of shopping goods with an emphasis on travel shopping. In conclusion, shopping information sources seemed to be a meaningful tool for segmenting tourists. Rich, older, family tourists would be an major target market for local retailers.

A Study on the Effect of Online Travel Distribution's Brand Community Characteristics on Product Purchase Intention

  • Purpose: This study attempted to confirm the mediating effect of brand experience and to travel brand community satisfaction in the relationship between the characteristics of brand community contents and travel product purchase intention. This study also investigated the moderating role of consumer characteristics. Research design, data and methodology: Based on a total of 381 bytes of data, hypothesis verification was conducted using Smart-PLS 3.2.8 statistical package programs. Results: First, the content community travel brand attributes, personal affordability and creativity are a lingering fragrances on the intended consumers ' shopping trip. Second, information provision, interaction, and creativity, which are the characteristics of travel brand community content, influenced consumers' intention to purchase travel products through brand community satisfaction. Third, playfulness, vitality, and creativity, which are the characteristics of travel brand community content, influenced consumers' intention to purchase travel products through double mediation of the experience and community satisfaction of brand. Conclusions: Tourism industry managers should be able to market content by forming their own brand community. It is necessary to create an environment in which tourism industry managers can use social media travel brand community content to give discounts to consumers, provide creative, playful and vivid travel information.

관광 공간에서 나타나는 규율 권력에 관한 소고 - 베트남 패키지 관광을 중심으로 - (Implications of Disciplinary Power in Tourism Destination)

  • 본 연구는 베트남 관광에서 나타난 규율 권력의 분석을 통해 관광이 개인의 단편적 행위의 산물이 아니라 사회적 산물이자 반영임을 증명하는데 목적을 두고 있다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 베트남 관광에서의 주체는 여행사와 가이드였고, 관광객은 대상으로 시작하여 권력을 내면화한 주체로 거듭났다. 가이드는 감시, 제재, 분할과 같은 여러 가지 권력 기술을 활용함으로써 관광객을 감시, 통제했고 관광객은 이를 내면화하여 자율적 주체, 다시 말해 현대적 관광자로 행동했다. 베트남 관광 공간에서의 권력은 관광 요소 간의 관계로 존재했고, 특정 관광 공간에 국한하여 나타나지 않고 모든 관광 공간에서 나타났다. 또한 권력은 억압적이라기보다는 생산적으로 작용했다.
