고체입자를 이용한 열교환기에서의 유동 및 열전달의 유한요소해석 (Finite element analysis of flow and heat transfer in solid particle moving beds of heat exchanger)

  • Numerical analysis for the flow and heat transfer in solid particle moving beds of heat exchangers is presented. The solid particle flow through the bundle of heat source tubes by the gravitational force. The heat energy is transferred through the direct contact of particles with the heat source tubes. The viscous-plastic fluid model and the convective heat transfer model are employed in the analysis. The flow field dominantly influences the total heat transfer in a heat exchanger. As the velocities of solid particles around the heat source tubes increase, the amount of heat transfer from the tubes increases. Some examples are presented to show the performance of the numerical model. The flow effect on the heat transfer is also studied through the examples.

Solid Phase Micro Extraction을 이용한 산초의 휘발성 성분 분석 (Analysis of Volatile Components of Sancho(Zanthoxylum schinifolium)by Solid Phase Micro Extraction)

  • Test of the optimum condition of solid phase micro extraction(SPME) was performed by use of 5 vol-atile components in dilute aqueous solution. Volatile components of Sancho(Zanthoxylum schinifolium) were isolated by SPME method and were analyzed by GC/MSD and compared with volatile compone-nts isolated by simultaneous distillation extraction (SDE) method. Total 31 components were identified by comparing gas chromatography retention time and mass spectral data. The major compounds were limonene geranyl acetate $\beta$-phellandrene phellandral mycene linalool rose oxide caproic acid and caprylic acid SPME sampling procedure was found to be a good method for qualitative analysis of the volatile components.

제철 소결기 베드 내 연소 및 열전달 모델링 (Modeling of Combustion and Heat Transfer in the Iron Ore Sintering Bed)

  • Processes in an iron ore sintering bed can characterized as a relatively uniform progress of fuel, cokes combustion and complicated physical change of solid particles. The sintering bed was modelled as an unsteady one-dimensional progress of the fuel layer, containing two phases: solid and gas. Coke added to the raw mix, of which the amount is about 3.5% of the total weight, was assumed to form a single particle with other components. Numerical simulations of the condition in the iron ore sintering bed were performed for various parameters: moisture contents, cokes contents and air suction rates, along with the various particle diameters of the solid for sensitivity analysis. Calculation results showed that the influence of these parameters on the bed condition should be carefully evaluated, in order to achieve self-sustaining combustion without high temperature section. The model should be extended to consider the bed structural change and multiple solid phase, which could treat the inerts and fuel particles separately.

Analysis of Characteristics of All Solid-State Batteries Using Linear Regression Models

  • This study used a total of 205,565 datasets of 'voltage', 'current', '℃', and 'time(s)' to systematically analyze the properties and performance of solid electrolytes. As a method for characterizing solid electrolytes, a linear regression model, one of the machine learning models, is used to visualize the relationship between 'voltage' and 'current' and calculate the regression coefficient, mean squared error (MSE), and coefficient of determination (R^2). The regression coefficient between 'Voltage' and 'Current' in the results of the linear regression model is about 1.89, indicating that 'Voltage' has a positive effect on 'Current', and it is expected that the current will increase by about 1.89 times as the voltage increases. MSE found that the mean squared error between the model's predicted and actual values was about 0.3, with smaller values closer to the model's predictions to the actual values. The coefficient of determination (R^2) is about 0.25, which can be interpreted as explaining 25% of the data.

Effect of Li3BO3 Additive on Densification and Ion Conductivity of Garnet-Type Li7La3Zr2O12 Solid Electrolytes of All-Solid-State Lithium-Ion Batteries

  • In this study, we investigate the effect of the$Li_3BO_3$ additive on the densification and ionic conductivity of garnet-type $Li_7La_3Zr_2O_{12}$ solid electrolytes for all-solid-state lithium batteries. We analyze their densification behavior with the addition of $Li_3BO_3$ in the range of 2-10 wt.% by dilatometer measurements and isothermal sintering. Dilatometry analysis reveals that the sintering of $Li_7La_3Zr_2O_{12}-Li_3BO_3$ composites is characterized by two stages, resulting in two peaks, which show a significant dependence on the $Li_3BO_3$ additive content, in the shrinkage rate curves. Sintered density and total ion conductivity of the system increases with increasing $Li_3BO_3$ content. After sintering at $1100^{\circ}C$ for 8 h, the $Li_7La_3Zr_2O_{12}-8$ wt.% $Li_3BO_3$ composite shows a total ionic conductivity of $1.61{\times}10^{-5}Scm^{-1}$, while that of the pure $Li_7La_3Zr_2O_{12}$ is only $5.98{\times}10^{-6}Scm^{-1}$.

감귤 품종별 이화학적 성분 비교 (Comparison of physico-chemical components on citrus varieties)

  • Physico-chemical components which are closely related to processed products were investigated on 10 varieties of Cheju citrus fruits. Juice ratio of Hungjin was the highest, 49.2%, while Sankyool was the lowest, 4.2%, which showed great differences among varieties. Peel ratio of Dangyooja was the highest, 46.1%, while both Navel orange and Hungjin were relatively low. Soluble solid($^{\circ}$Brix) was relatively high In Sankyool, Meiwa Kumquat, Sambokam and Iyo. Acid content was the highest, 4.86% in sudachi and relatively high in Sankyool, Natsudaidai and Dangyooja. The $^{\circ}$Brix to acid content ratio was 13.9 in Meiwa Kumquat and more than 10 in Navel orange and Hungjin. Total sugar contents of Juice were 2.78∼10.94%, while reduced sugar contents were 1.63∼6.38% which showed higher in Meiwa Kumquat, Iyo and Navel Orange. Hesperidin and naringin, the sources of biiter taste and cloudness were low in Hungjin and Iyo. Soluble solid($^{\circ}$Brix) of citrus juice showed highest statistical relationship(r=0.907) with total sugar, and was highly significant at 1% level.

유공 방파제의 파압분포특성과 안정도 (Pressure Distribution and Caisson Stability of Perforated Breakwaters)

  • 본 연구에서는 유공케이슨과 무공케이슨을 대비하여 케이슨에 작용하는 부재파압 및 안정도 특성에 대한 수리모형 실험을 실시하였다. 부재파력은 전면벽 파력과 양압력 공히 유공케이슨이 무공케이슨보다 작게 나타나 유공케이슨이 파역의 분산면에서 효과적임을 입증하였다. 케이슨 안정도에 대해서는, 전 실험파낭조건에 걸쳐 유공케이슨의 활동한계중량이 무공케이슨에 비해 작게 나타나 동일 파낭조건에서 전자가 후자보다 소요중양면에서 유리함을 입증하였다. 유공케이슨의 활동한계중량이 작게 나타난 주요 원인은 수평전파력의 감소와 함께 수평 전파력과 연직상향 전파력의 위상차에 의한 것으로 나타났다.

고상 廢棄物處理를 위한 플라즈마 토치에 관한 硏究 (The Study of Plasma Torch for Solid Waste Treatment)

  • 본 연구에서는 고상폐기물(소각재) 처리를 위해 중간 전극 (IEI, Inter-Electrode Insert)이 있는 button 형태의 고형 체형 고출력 토치를 개발하였고 폐기물처리 플라즈마설비에 적용하여 운전특성을 얻었다. 본 연구의 토치 실험 결과 비이송형 모드에서는 가스량의 증가에 따라 전압이 증가하였고, 이송형 모드에서는 가스량 변화에는 영향이 없었으나 토치와 바닥면과의 거리, 슬래그의 성분 그리고 용융 슬래그의 체적에 따라 전압의 변화가 발생하였다. 특히 아크전압이 슬래그내의 total Fe 함량이 10% 내외에서 안정적으로 유지되었으며, 전기전도도 계산결과 0.05~0.25${\Omega}^{-1}cm^{-1}$ 범위로 나타났다. 본 연구의 토치 효율은 75~85%로 나타났으며, 마모율은 2${\times}10^{-6}~6{\times}10^{-6}$ kg/s의 범위로 나타났다.

2 Vane 펌프 임펠러의 성능 개선에 관한 수치해석적 연구 (A Numerical Study on the Improvement of Performance for the 2 Vane Pump Impeller)

  • This paper describes a numerical study on the improvement of performance of the 2 vane pump impellers. The design of these impellers was optimized using a commercial computation fluid dynamics code and design of experiments. Geometric design variables were defined by the impeller blade angle distribution. The objective functions were defined as the total head, total efficiency and solid material size of the impellers. The importance of the geometric design variables was analyzed using 2k factorial designs. The interaction between the total head, total efficiency and solid material size, according to the impeller blade angle distribution, is discussed by analyzing the 2k factorial design results.

Teflon 노즐을 이용한 복합추진제 모터의 추력 향상 (Enhancement of Performance for Solid Composite Propellant Motor using Teflon Nozzle)

  • 인하 로케트 연구회에서는 기존의 복합추진제 모터의 노즐 재료를 기존의 세라믹에서 Teflon으로 대체하여 추력 성능을 개선하였다. Teflon으로 제작된 노즐은 지상시험과 추력 측정을 통해 결과를 확인하였다. Teflon을 이용한 노즐은 기존의 세라믹 노즐과 비교해서 신뢰성을 높이면서 총충격량을 18.3%만큼 증가시킬 수 있었다. 새로운 제작 공정은 노즐 생산 시간도 줄였다.
