  • 미국은 총 수명주기 비용을 최소화하고 운용 가동률 향상을 위해 총 수명주기 체계관리(TLCSM, Total Life Cycle System Management)를 추진 중이다. 실천전략의 하나로 CBM+(Condition Based Maintenance +)를 새로운 무기체계에 적용할 것을 요구하고 있다. F-35 항공기는 개발단계에서부터 CBM+ 개념 하에서 PHM(건전성 예측 및 관리)을 적용하였다. 본 연구에서는 군수용 고정익 항공기 구성품 PHM 적용을 위하여 기술 동향, 국내 PHM 기술 수준 및 해외 기술발전 추세를 분석하였다. 또한, PHM 기술 요소를 분석하여 군수용 고정익 항공기 기술 요소 획득 로드맵 5단계를 구성하였다.

  • This study performed an analysis to determine if an individual can maintain the current consumption, in the case of a single retired elderly person's household using the accumulated assets. Assets are divided into three types, based on the behavioral economics life cycle hypothesis : financial assets, real assets excepting residential assets, and residential assets, and it is assumed that these assets were used on a step-by-step basis. Also, if the assets were sufficient, the maximum withdrawal amount was calculated. The results of the analysis are as follows. First, the monetary assets were sufficient to cover the cost of living for 2.7 years, 6.4 years by using the real assets of the non-occupied housing, and 26.3 years in the case of residential property. Second, in the case of preferentially using the financial assets, 4.4% of the sample households were able to cover the cost of living. Households that were not able to cover the cost of living used the next-stage assets, real assets of the non-occupied housing. Households that were not able to cover the cost of living by financial assets liquidated the real assets with the exception of residential assets and used these to cover the cost of living. A total of 4.8% of the households were able to maintain the current cost of living through the second stage and 25.5% supplemented their funds by using residential assets. That is to say, 35% of the sample households were able to maintain the current level of living by using their assets.

  • 이 연구는 프로젝트 기획단계에서 발주자가 실적자료를 활용해 공공건축물인 관공서의 총공사비를 견적하는 방법에 대한 것이다. 최근 공공건축물의 종류 및 용도가 다양화 되면서, 공사비 산정 시 고려해야할 요소가 증가하여 공사비 추정에 대한 논리적인 분석이 어려운 경우가 많다. 이로 인해 경우에 따라서는 건축물이 과다 또는 부실하게 계획되는 사례가 발생하고 있어 예산이 낭비되기 쉽다. 특히, 학교, 관공서, 체육시설 등의 공공건축공사에 BTL(Build Transfer Lease)방식이 도입되어 활성화되면서 건축물의 기획 단계부터 적정규모 산정 및 공사비에 대한 체계적 예측 및 관리가 필요하며, 효과적인 건축물의 기획을 위해서는 장기적인 건축물의 이용자 및 건축물의 수명주기(Life cycle)를 예측한후 건축물의 규모를 산정하는 것이 바람직하다. 그러나 현실적으로 모든 변수들을 종합한 결과를 토대로 건축물을 기획하는 것은 용이한 일이 아니다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 발주자가 건축물의 기획 단계에서 공공건축물의 예산 수립을 쉽게 검토할 수 있는 방법론을 제공하고, 과거에 수행된 유사한 용도의 건축물 실적자료를 활용해, 총공사비를 견적할 수 있는 회귀분석모델을 제안하고 모델의 적용성검토를 위해 일본의 관공서 건축데이터를 통해서 검증하였다.

단독주택용 지열원 열펌프 시스템의 경제성 분석 (Economic Analysis of a Residential Ground-Source Heat Pump System)

  • Because of their low operating and maintaining costs, ground-source heat pump(GSHP) systems are an increasingly popular choice for providing heating, cooling and water heating to public and commercial buildings. Despite these advantages and the growing awareness, GSHP systems to residential sectors have not been adopted in Korea until recently. A feasibility study of a residential GSHP system was therefore conducted using the traditional life cycle cost(LCC) analysis within the current electricity price framework and potential scenarios of that framework. As a result, when the current residential electricity costs for running the GSHP system are applied, the GSHP system has weak competitiveness to conventional HV AC systems considered. However, when the operating costs are calculated in the modified price frameworks of electricity, the residential GSHP system has the lower LCC than the existing cooling and heating equipments. The calculation results also show that the residential GSHP system has lower annual prime energy consumption and total pollutant emissions than the alternative HVAC systems considered in this work.

정수시설 자산관리 LoS분석 벤치마크지수 개발 (Development of Benchmark Index of LoS for Asset Management of Water Treatment Facilities)

  • Since aged water treatment facilities could threaten the sustainable water supply, asset management system has been adopted for their systematic management. Level of Service(LoS) is one of critical components of asset management and could be quantified through benchmark index(BMI). Water supplier could estimate consumer's satisfaction and their performance through BMI to improve the LoS. We developed BMI for water treatment facilities from customer's satisfaction survey. BMI, represented with the Total Service Score(TSS), was assessed with water quality, water pressure, taste and odor, water rate, and service quality with weighing factors. BMI could, further, be used to assist the analysis of the life cycle cost to increase the unit of LoS.

  • 온실가스 배출량이 세계 6위인 우리나라는 건물의 운영과 유지 및 관리에 소비되는 에너지로 인한 온실가스 배출량을 줄이고자 공공건축물을 대상으로 신재생에너지 시스템을 통하여 에너지를 생산하도록 하는 공공의무화 제도(RPS)를 시행하고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 선행되었던 기존 연구의 동향을 분석하여 에너지원별로 적정 조합 및 적용 비율을 도출하였고, 동적 에너지 프로그램을 이용하여 에너지소비량을 시뮬레이션 하였으며, 산출된 결과를 토대로 초기투자비, 에너지비, 보수교체비, 유지관리비를 산출하였다. 분석결과 지열 100% 조합이 총 비용 2,105,974,344원으로 총 생애주기 비용이 가장 적은 것으로 나타났다.

LCC를 이용한 공조 방식별 비교 연구 (Comparison Study of Air-conditioning Systems using LCC Analysis)

  • The purpose of this study is to make an economic analysis(Life cycle cost) of selecting optimal air conditioning system for a research building which is 8 stories with a total floor area of $32,010m^2$. Energy consumptions of three proposed air-conditioning systems(Alt-1,2,3) that reflect the government green-growth policy are calculated and compared. The results show that life cycle cost of Alt-3(Ventilation DX AHU+EHP) is less than Alt-1(EHP+ventilation DX AHU) by 5.1%, and Alt-2(Absorption chiller/heater+EHP) by 34.3%. Annual energy consumption of Alt-3 is less than Alt-1 by 9.9%, and Alt-2 by 37.4%. Annual $CO_2$ emission of Alt-3 is less than Alt-1 by 9.9%, and Alt-2 by 0.2%.

군수 지원시스템 개발 방법에 관한 연구 (A study on the development of Logistic Support system)

  • Weapon system is defined as a combination of primary system and logistics support system which are evaluated by capability and operational availability respectively. Weapon system developer thought that primary system was weapon system and also only primary system was important. Recent comparison of total life cycle cost showed that logistics support system was proved to be more important than primary system. However, until now no systematic approach to logistics support system development have applied in the area of developing support system and much money was exhausted by wrong logistics support system. We need to construct a universal metric for effectiveness of logistics support system and to cut out whatever activities or support elements which do not contribute to the metrics. This study describes a new approach under the name function approach to logistics support system development and also classifies five factors of failure frequency, stock out of frequency, administrative delay time, active repair time and logistic delay time that have influence on operational availability of logistics support system.

  • In order to assess the design value of engineering work from the point of view of LCC (Life Cycle Cost) in Korea, it is mandatory for all construction works that the total construction costs are over 10 billion won. The LCC includes initial construction costs, maintenance & operation costs, energy costs, end-of-life costs, and so on. Among these, the portion for maintenance & operation costs for a building is sizeable, as compared to the initial construction costs. Furthermore, the paradigm for construction industry has rapidly shifted from 2D to BIM, which includes design planning and data management. However, the study of BIM-based LCC analysis is not adequate today, even though all domestic construction projects ordered by the Public Procurement Service have to adopt BIM. Therefore, this study suggests a methodology of BIM-based LCC analysis that is particularly focused on repair and replacement (R&R) cost. For this purpose, we defined requirements of calculating R&R cost and extracted X from the relevant IFC data. Thereafter, we input them to the ontology of calculating the initial construction costs to obtain an objective output. Finally, in order to automatically calculate R&R cost, mapping with R&R criteria was performed. We expect that our methodology will contribute to more efficiently calculate R&R cost and, furthermore, that this methodology will be applicable to all range of total LCC. Thus, the proposed process of automatic BIM-based LCC analysis will contribute to making LCC analysis more fast and accurate than it is at present.
