싱글트러스 토마토 생산시스템의 국내 적용을 위한 생산성 분석 (Productivity Analysis of Single Truss Tomato Production System for Korean Locations)

  • 싱글트러스토마토시스템을 국내에 도입하여 효율적으로 생산관리를 하는데 필요한 자료를 제공하기 위하여 기존의 모델을 이용하여 지역별로 수확량, 수확시기를 예측하고 효율적인 생산관리 가능성을 분석한 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 우리나라의 전지역이 겨울철에 최대수확 가능량을 달성하는데는 광량이 부족한 것으로 나타나 인공광을 이용한 생산량 증대가 가능할 것으로 판단되었다. 수원지역과 진주지역의 연간 총 수확량의 차이가 12kg.m$^{-2}$ 으로 나타나 토마토 온실의 설치 계획시 지역의 자연광 특성을 고려하여야 할 것으로 판단되었다. 지역과 계절에 따라 차이는 있으나 인공광을 이용하여 수확시기의 조절이 가능한 것으로 나타났다 인공광의 이용에는 많은 경비가 소요되기 때문에 인공광의 용량을 지역에 따라 적절하게 결정할 수 있는 방법과 저렴한 심야전기를 가능하면 많이 이용할 수 있는 인공광의 제어전략 등에 관한 추가적인 연구가 요구된다.

Effect of a Bacterial Grass Culture on the Plant Growth and Disease Control in Tomato

  • This study aimed to investigate the plant growth-promoting and biocontrol potential of a grass culture with Paenibacillus ehimensis KWN8 on tomato. For this experiment, treatments of a chemical fertilizer (F), a bacterial grass culture (G), a 1/3 volume of G plus 2/3 F (GF), and F plus a synthetic fungicide (FSf) were applied to tomato leaves and roots. The result showed that the severity of Alternaria solani and Botrytis cinerea symptoms were significantly reduced after the application of the bacterial grass culture (G and GF) and FSf. In addition, root mortality in G and GF was lower compared to F. Tomato plants treated with G or GF had better vegetative growth and yield compared to F. Application of G affected the fungal and bacterial populations in the soil. In conclusion, treatment with a bacterial grass culture decreased disease severity and increased tomato growth parameters. However, there were no statistically significant correlations between disease occurrence and tomato yields. This experiment presents the possibility to manage diseases of tomato in an environmentally friendly manner and to also increase the yield of tomato by using a grass culture broth containing P. ehimensis KWN38.

Pseudomonas putida Strain 17 Isolated from Replant Soil Promotes Tomato Growth and Inhibits Conidial Germination of Soilborne Plant Pathogens

  • The induction of growth promotion on numerous crops by rhizobacteria is a well documented phenomenon. In case of tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum), fruit yield is higher in replant soil than that in fresh soil. To investigate what kind of rhizobacterium is involved, microbial community in rhizosphere and on rhizoplane of tomato plants from each soil was analyzed by dilution plating on selective media. Many Gram-negative bacteria and actinomycetes were isolated from tomato in replant soil. One Gram-negative rhizobacterium isolated was identified as Pseudomonas putida based on its biochemical characteristics, fatty acid methyl ester analysis and 16S rDNA sequence. This bacterium designated strain 17 inhibited the growth of Pseudomonas corrugata, and increased growth of tomato seedlings. In addition, its culture filtrate inhibited conidial germination of plant-pathogenic fungi such as Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. radicis-lycopersici, F. oxysporum f. sp. cucumerinum, and Nectria radicicola. Scanning electron microscopy revealed strain 17 colonized and persisted on the epidermal surfaces of tomato radicles and roots. These results suggest that P. putida strain 17 may serve as a biological control agent to suppress multiple soil-borne diseases for tomato plants. Increased microbial populations that suppress deleterious microorganisms including pathogens could be one of the major factors in increased tomato yield in replant soil.

  • This study the effects of the application of organic farming materials on the soil Physicochemistry property and plant growth, yield and components of Tomato were compared with conventional culture. The results obtained from the experiment are summarized as follows : 1. The effect of soil chemical properties after application organic farming materials, The amounts of pH and O.M. in N, P, K treated plot were few of change, To the contrary, fermentation compost and microorganisms fermentation compost treated plot were some increase, Amount of $P_2$$O_{5}$, Ca and K increase in comparison with the N, P, K treated plot. 2. Changes of soil microbial after application organic farming materials, The number of bacteria, actinomycetes and fungi in N, P, K treated plot were appeared definite direction. to the contrary, The number of bacteria and actimycetes in fermentation compost and microorganisms fermentation compost treated plot showed the increased tendency, The number of fungi showed the decreased tendency. 3. Effect of organic farming materials application on the growth and yield of tomato was superior in order of microorganisms fermentation compost plot〉 chemical fertilizers plot〉 fermentation compost plot. especially, chicken manure + microorganisms fermentation compost treated plot was the highest. 4. Effect of organic farming materials application on the components of tomato were not different.

방울토마토 경영성과에 영향을 미치는 요인분석 (A Causal Analysis on Factors Affecting Management Outcome of Cherry Tomato Farming in Chungnam Area)

  • In this study, certain factors influencing cherry tomato were estimated using system equations. In addition, the amount of influence to income from each factor was estimated from both direct and indirect effects. Based on OLS(Ordinary Least Squares) estimation, path analysis and factor analysis were employed to overcome multicollinearity problems. Data used in this study is interviewed cross sectional data of 65 cherry tomato producing farm in Chungnam-do area. Average age of the producers is 46.5. Average year of the production is 8 years. Average farm size, productivity, and income are 1,123 pyong, 7,439kg/10a, 8,112,000won/10a, respectively. The business performance of the sample farms were above average, in terms of the diagnosis by "Standard Business Diagnosis for Cherry tomato". To identify the factors influencing productivity, 15, 19, and 25 independent variables were selected for the dependent variables of yield, price(quality), and business cost, respectively. Finally, yield, quality, and business cost variables were set as independent variables to explain income as dependent variable. As a result of main factor analysis, 10, 12, 15, and 16 factors were identified as main factors for yield, quality, business cost, and income, respectively.

시설재배지 염류집적 토양에 대한 추비 저감 처리가 토마토 수량 및 양분함량에 미치는 영향 (Effects of reduced additional fertilizer on tomato yield and nutrient contents in salt accumulated soil)

  • This study was conducted to evaluate the effects of reduced nitrogen (N) and potassium (K) fertigation as additional fertilizer on tomato yield and nutrient contents in excessively nutrients-accumulated soil. Shoot and root dry weights (DW), dry matter rate for shoot, root and fruit and number of fruit in both AF50 and AF100 (50 and 100% levels of additional fertilizer) treatments were increased in comparison with those in AF0 (0% level of additional fertilizer) treatment. In case of nutrient uptake by tomato, nitrogen, phosphorous (P) and potassium contents in all tomato parts (leaf, stem, root and fruit) in AF50 and AF100 treatment were lower than those in AF0 treatment. On the contrary, soluble sugar and starch contents in all tomato parts in AF50 and AF100 were higher than those in AF0 treatment. There were differences between AF0 and AF50 or AF100 in tomato growth, yield, nutrient level and contents of soluble sugar and starch. In contrast, the level and initiation point of fertigation did not significantly affect the parameters. Based on our results, the application of properly reduced level of additional fertilizer is possible to maintain the productivity of tomato and alleviate the nutrient accumulation in plastic film house soils.

이산화탄소 및 온도 상승이 토마토 수량 및 과실특성에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Elevated Carbon Dioxide Concentration and Temperature on Yield and Fruit Characteristics of Tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum Mill.))

  • 이산화탄소 상승에 따른 지구온난화 환경이 토마토의 생육반응에 미치는 효과를 검토하기 위하여 대기 중 이산화탄소농도(370과 $650{\mu}mol\;mol^{-1}$)와 온도수준(대기온도와 대기온도+$5^{\circ}C$)을 달리하면서 질소 처리수준(68과 $204\;kg\;N\;ha^{-1}$)별 토마토의 생육,수량 및 과실크기 분포 등을 조사하였다. 대기 중 이산화탄소 농도와 온도 증가는 토마토의 초장과 경경을 증가시켰으나, 질소처리에 따른 초장과 경경 변화는 뚜렷한 경향이 없었다. 토마토의 지상부 중량은 상승 이산화탄소와 상승 온도 조건하에서, 그리고 높은 농도의 질소처리로 증가하였다. 토마토의 과실 수량은 높은 질소농도 조건하에서 그리고 상승 이산화탄소 환경 하에서 증가하였으나, 상승온도 환경 하에서는 감소하였다. 토마토 과실의 크기분포는 대기온도 증가로 인해 소형과의 비율이 증가하고 대형과는 감소하였으며, 이산화탄소 증가로 인해 소형과는 감소하고 초대형과는 증가한 반면, 질소처리는 대형과와 초대형과의 비율을 크게 하였다. 과실의 당도와 산도는 상승 이산화탄소와 상승 온도 처리로 현저한 차이가 없었으나, 질소처리 농도증가로 인해 당도는 증가하고 과실즙액의 pH는 감소하였다. 결과적으로 온도 상승은 과실 수량과 과실 크기를 감소시키나, 상승 이산화탄소는 과실 수량과 과실의 크기를 증대시키므로 온난화 환경 하에서 안정적인 토마토 생산을 위해서는 고온 적응성 품종을 육성하거나 새로운 재배기술 개발이 필요함을 의미한다.

녹비의 토양환원에 따른 후작물 토마토 생육과 수량 반응 (Growth and Yield Response of the Following Tomato Crop According to Incorporation of Green Manures into Soil)

  • 시설 유기농 토마토 생산을 위한 녹비 토양환원 효과를 조사하기 위하여 여름 휴한기 동안 페레니얼라이그라스, 수단그라스, 콩 등 3종의 녹비를 재배한 후 토양에 환원 하였다. 녹비 토양환원 후, 후작물로서 토마토를 재배하였으며, 녹비토양환원에 따른 토마토 생육 및 수량, 양분이용율, 양분수지량을 조사하였다. 녹비 토양환원 후 토마토의 생육 및 생산성은 콩과 같은 두과작물을 녹비로 활용 시 현저히 증가하였다. 반면에 페레니얼라이그라스는 여름철 고온에 따른 하고 현상으로 생육이 부진하였고, 수단그라스는 녹비 수확량은 많았으나 높은 C/N율로 인해 토마토의 수량을 감소시켰다. 콩을 녹비로 토양환원 시 후작물 토마토의 수량은 화학비료를 처리한 관행과 비교할 때 현저한 차이가 없었고, 토양 내 질소 수지량은 양의 값을 보였다. 결과적으로 수단그라스 녹비는 후작물 토마토의 생산성을 크게 감소시킨 반면, 콩 녹비는 관행수준의 토마토 수량을 얻을 수 있을 뿐 아니라 토마토 재배에 필요한 양분수지를 충족시킬 수 있어 수단그라스에 비해 우수한 녹비로 판단된다.

토마토에 대한 뿌리혹선충의 주요 종별 피해정도 (Effects of Root-knot Nematodes, Meloidogyne hapla, M. incognita, M. arenaria and M. javanica on Growth and Yield of Tomato)

  • 우리나라에서 발생하는 뿌리혹선충의 주요 종인 Meloidogyne hapla, M. arenaria, M. incognita 그리고 M. javanioa의 피해정도를 알기 위하여 pot당 0, 1,000, 10,000마리의 선충접종한 결과 감수정도는 M. javanica($Rutgers\;:\;80\%$, 복수2호 : $59\%$), M. incognita(Rutgers : $78\%$, 복수 2호 : $50\%$, M. arenaria($Rutgers\;:\;65\%$, 복수2호 : $24\%$), M. hapla($Rutgers\;:\;7\%$, 복수2호 : $15\%$)의 순이었고, M. hapla는 아열대인 필리핀에서의 Rutgers보다 우리나라에서의 Boksu 2에서 더 심한 피해를 나타내는 반면 M. arenaria, M. incognita 및 M. javanica는 필리핀에서의 Rutgers에서 더 피해가 심했다. 토마토의 생육에 미치는 영향은 풋트당 선충 10,000마리 접종구에서 Rutgers의 지상부 무게가 뿌리 무게나 초장보다 더 컸지만 선충 밀도가 낮은 1,000마리 접종구에서는 초장이나 지상부 무게가 감소하는 반면 뿌리 무게는 오히려 증가하는 경향이었다.

시설채소의 수경재배방법별 소비수량과 생육에 관한 연구 (Studies on the Water Consumption and Growth of Vegetables Cultivated by Hydroponics in' the Green House)

  • In the vinyl house cultivation, the water consumption, evapotnanspirafion ratio, growth condifion by the growing stages and yields of tomato and cucumber were investigated when they cultivated by nutriculture, rice hull charcoal culture and NFF culture. The results obtained are summarized as follows: 1. The mean air temperature in the vinyl house during the experimental perica j was 1.9$^{\circ}$C higher than the outdoor air temperature, the rrnocirnum and minimum air temperature in the vinyl house was 4.6C and 1.7$^{\circ}$C higher than the outdoor temperature, respectively, and the mean daily evaporation in the vinyl house during the experimental period was 4.3rnm that is 02rnrn more than the outdoor evaporation 2. In the tomato cultivation, the growth of rice hull charcoal culture was the best among the three methods, and the growth of NFT culture and nutriculture were worse than the soil cultivation which is standard, and among the nutriculture, the growth of EC 1.3m.mho plot was the best. 3. In the cucumber cultivation, the growth of rice hull charcoal culture was the best, and while the growth condition of NFT culture was worse than the standard soil cultivation, the growth of nutriculture was better than the standard soil cultivation, and the growth of EC 1.3m.mho plot was the highest among the different treatments in the nutriculture. 4. In the tomato cultivation, the total water consumption of rice hull charcoal culture plot was 1107.5rnm which is the highest amount among the three methods, and in the nutriculture, the total water consumption of EC 1.3m.mho plot was 22lAmm which is the highest among the three different treatments. 5. In the cucumber cultivation, the total water consumption of rice hull charcoal culture was 11762rnm which is the highest, and the total water consumption of EC 1.3m.mho plot was 284.9rnm which is more than the 278.9mm of EC 1.Smmho plot and 262.9mm of EC 1.7rnmho plot. 6. The crop coefficient(Kc) of tomato was 0.82 in NFT culture, 4.67 in rice hull charcoar culture and 0.86~0.91 in nutriculture. 7. The crop coefficient(Kc) of cucumber was higher than tomato as 1.13 in NFT culture, 520 in rice hull charcoal culture and 1.08~1.19 in nutriculture. 8. The evapotranspiration ratio in the mid and late season were higher than the beginning and elongation stage, and the average evaportranspiration ratio of tomato and cucumber was 3.81 and 424, respectively, in the rice hull charcoal culture plot. 9. In the tomato cultivation, the total yield per plant of rice bull charcoal culture was 1443.Og which is the highest, and in the nutriculture, their yields were worse because of the damage of downy nidew disease. 10. In the cucumber cultivation, the total yield per plant of rice hull charcoal culture was 1965.7g which is the highest, and while the yield of NFT culture was ahout 25% lower than the stadard soil cultivation, the yield of nutriculture was higher than the standard soil cultivation, and among the treatments in the nutriculture, the yield of EC 1.3m.mho plot was the highest.
