  • The physical properties of tire and tube products as a series of experiments have been studied and practical usage has been discussed. 1. The tensile strength and elongation of experimental production of tire and tube revealed better values than those found in requirements of military specification. 2. Adhesion of carcass plies with domestic and foregin cords showed good results in physical properties. 3. Tensile strength of carcass plies, tenacity of domestic cord and breaking energy of tire be exhibited good results.

  • 1. Physical properties of various nylon cords in a tire, both of home and foreign products are studied. The experimental data for home nylon cords appeared to be quite satisfactory for use in a tire compared with foreign nylon cords with respect to its tenacity, elongation, shrinkage and contraction. 2. Excellent results have been obtained with 50 phr carbon in butyl-carbon compounding.

  • Maintaining proper tire air pressure is an essential element in ensuring vehicle safety. UHP Tires that boast of many safety features are increasing in the market. In particular, the development of "Self-Inflating Tire" technology is accelerating around the globe. Self-inflating tire refers to a technique for maintaining appropriate tire pressure. An internal regulator senses when tire inflation pressure has dropped below the set air pressure. The tire boosts air through the valve when rolling and compressed air enters into the tire. This procedure keeps the tire air pressure at an appropriate level and increases tire safety. Flow analysis of the internal tube is required to examine self-inflating tires. In this study, a method of tube flow analysis using the FSI Method is proposed. The valve system is also implemented to optimize the regulator and sensor.

  • We have studied to apply of a quantity of SBR contained high and domestic tire cord on manufacture tire. The Physical test of compounds and products, the travelling test of manufactured tires last year had revealed a good results. 1. The physical properties indicated better values than those found in the requirments of military specification. 2. Adhesion of carcass ply cord showed a good results. 3. The physical properties between 1260 d/2 nylon cord and 840d/2 nylon cord of domestic products be showed similar values and its have a results by 2-3 times than standards.

  • The 10t/d pyrolysis demonstration plant for waste tire recycling have been constructed and operated for commissioning of the plant. The plant have the tube reactor with chain conveyer attached disk. The reactor temperature is 500$\sim$600deg.C and pressure is -80$\sim$-100mmHg. Non-condensable gas is used as fuel for pyrolysis heat source.

  • The 10t/d pyrolysis demonstration plant have been developed for waste tire recycling treatment and value added commercialization. The initial plant model had been started under 2.4t/d capacity with continuous operation, and the commercial plant has been achieved to the 120t/d based on demonstration plant having the tube reactor with chain conveyer attached disk. The next generation pyrolysis plant for waste tire is reviewed and the assignment for plant development is presented briefly.

  • As a part of a series of previous studies, physical properties of various portions of a tire made of NR-Syn. R bloods were studied. 1. It was found, in general, most effective for tire tread when 50 parts of HAF black was blended with NR and Syn. R with a ratio of 70/30. 2. It was found that the use of SBR 1712 has an advantage in price, easy processing and physical properties than other synthetic rubber. 3. A technical compounding of various portions of a tire has to be determined for optimum cure conditions.

  • In vulcanizates of NR/SBR blending compounds, the physical properties decrease as the contents of SBR increase for the most part. but the abrasives showed reverse performance. However, since these conditions enough satisfy the requirements of tread, carcass and sidewall of tire, we found it was possible to take use of the quantity of SBR contained high on tire manufacturing.
