Exploratory Analysis of Platform Government Research (플랫폼 정부 연구의 탐색적 분석)

  • Purpose: We present a scientometric review of the literature on platform government to serve three primary purposes: First, to cluster researches on platform government based on the research issues; second, to identify the major papers, authors, and keywords in the domain; and third, to explore the promising research areas of platform government. Design/methodology/approach: We collected the platform government research from Web of Science, and analyzed 1,536 articles that was published during time span of 1998-2019. Next, co-citation networks are constructed and analyzed by using CiteSpace to visualize the domain clusters and dynamic research trends in the platform government domain. Findings: We identified 13 sub areas of the platform government research: global investigation, consumer product quality, digital agora, civic crowd funding, and open data use etc. We also visualize the top 20 references with the strongest citation bursts, co-authors network, co-occurring keyword network, and timeline of co-citation clusters.

  • 최근 스마트 기기와 SNS가 대중화가 되면서, 이를 기반으로 사용자의 감정 분석을 통한 추천 연구가 활발하게 진행되어 지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 감정표현단어 500여개와 이모티콘을 활용하여 감정 범주를 9가지로 분류하고, 트위터광장의 여러 유명인사 트위터 타임라인의 텍스트를 가져온 후, 감정상태 분석으로 감정 범주를 카운트 한다. 이를 통해, 한사람의 감정상태의 수치를 나타내고, 추후 음악, 음식, 문화 활동 등을 다양하게 추천할 수 있는 감정상태분석모듈을 설계 및 구현한다.

  • The competition to lead the next generation of mobile technologies, 6G, is underway while the deployment of 5G has not been implemented worldwide. ITU-R plans to develop technical requirements and standards after completing the 6G Vision by 2023. It can be considered too early to have a concrete view of the 6G core network architecture from this timeline. However, major stakeholders have started making their presence felt by publishing their views. From updated analysis on the technology and service trends proposed, we present a list of research directions on 6G core network from several perspectives: distribution of network functions to nearer edge locations; future fixed-mobile convergence, including low earth orbit satellites; highly-precise QoS guarantee; supporting an extremely wide variety of service requirements; AI-native automation and intelligence; and aligning with the evolution of radio access network.

Public Opinion on the Duterte Administration's COVID-19 Period through Editorial Cartoons on Facebook

  • This study explores the images and ideas presented by the editorial cartoons that have appeared in the author's Facebook timeline during Duterte's enhanced community quarantine (ECQ). The study analyzed 70 editorial cartoons posted between March 14, 2020, when Duterte declared ECQ in the National Capital Region of the Philippines, and June 22, 2020, a few days before the emergency powers of Duterte expired. This study used (visual-verbal) textual analysis as the research method to surface discourses embedded in the selected editorial cartoons. The editorial cartoons were clustered according to the roles the powerful people play in the images, and the details of each image were compared and contrasted to surface nuances in representation. The 70 editorial cartoons were classified into seven categories: (1) invisible (non-suffering) persons, (2) front liners, (3) privileged homeowners, (4) priority clients, (5) judges, (6) gatekeepers, and (7) dysfunctional public officials. They gravitated towards the tragic realities that call for acts of social justice and equity, and underscore specific contexts that need to be fixed by those in power.

  • 트위터 사용자들은 어떠한 이슈에 대해 트위터를 통해 빠르고 간결하게 다른 사람들과의 지속적인 커뮤니케이션을 원하고, 이러한 특징은 이슈 별 사건에 따라 트윗 개수에 영향을 미치게 된다. 만약 어느 하나의 사회적 이슈에 대해 어떠한 사건이 일어나게 되면 그때의 트윗 개수는 폭발적으로 증가하게 된다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 특징을 이용하여 트위터 자료를 시간별로 분석하여 사건을 인식하고, 감성 자질과 카이제곱 값을 이용해 해당 날짜에 대한 핵심 사건을 추출한다.

  • 본 논문에서 제안한 주요 범죄사실 개요 분석을 통한 범죄사실 타임라인 자동 작성 시스템은 범죄를 수사하는 현장 수사관들이 수사과정에서 취득한 수사문건 중 범죄사실 파트에 기재된 문장들을 자연어분석을 통해 주요 범죄사실을 파악하는데 필요한 요소들을 자동으로 알아내고, 이 요소들을 타임 라인 상에 시간 순으로 표시함으로써 주요범죄사실 개용을 쉽게 이해 할수 있도록 타임라인을 자동 만들어 내는 시스템에 관한 연구이다. 이를 위해 수사문건에 포함된 범죄사실 개요 범위를 자동으로 알아내고, 그 범위내 포함된 문장들 속에서 주요행위자, 관심을 둬야 하는 시각, 그 시각에 벌어진 주요 행위들을 자동으로 분석하는 연구를 소개한다.

A Study on the Serial Analysis and Expansion of Research Areas of Records Management and Archives (국내외 기록관리학 연구영역의 시계열적 분석 및 확장성 연구)

  • In this study, twelve research papers on "records management and archives research areas" that were written from the 1980s to the 2000s were analyzed according to a timeline. The results show that the main subject areas during the 1980's were records and archives. During the 1990s, with the increase of electronic records, research areas expanded to information systems and related social environments. In the 2000s, more advanced technical and interdisciplinary subjects have emerged in the digital society. These results show that research areas in records management and archives still have much potential for growth and will expand in the near future.

  • Since smartphones possess a variety of user information, we can derive useful data related to the case from app data analysis in the digital forensic perspective. However, it requires an appropriate forensic measure as smartphone has the property of high mobility and high possibility of data loss, forgery, and modulation. Especially the forged/modulated time-stamp impairs the credibility of digital proof and results in the perplexity during the timeline analysis. This paper provides traces of usage which could investigate whether the time-stamp has been forged/modulated or not within the range of iOS based devices.

  • In order to establish an effective engagement plan of the missile defense system, both spatial and temporal performance analysis of the intercept system should be performed. However, research on existing missile defense systems has been mainly focused on spatial performance. In this study, time performance factors are defined through the composition and operational concept of missile defense system, and the target ballistic missile interception process is presented as integrated timeline through ballistic missile model and radar model. We also proposed an algorithm for deriving time performance. Simulation results confirm that the time performance factors can be used in the engagement planning for multi-engagement through the example of engagement planning.

An Analytical Investigation on the Dancheong Pigments by Hyperspectral Technique: Focusing on Green Colors

  • This study demonstrates the application of hyperspectral analysis as a pigment identification method for modern and contemporary Dancheong, the polychrome surface on traditional Korean wooden buildings. In particular, green pigments are the focus of this study. Green pigments in modern and contemporary Dancheong have the largest variation of materials and show a noticeable timeline. Thus, they are most suitable for estimating the manufacture or restoration period of Dancheong. Hyperspectral analysis is a noncontact, long-distance measurement technique that has advantages in the field of Dancheong analysis. It is capable of identifying both organic and inorganic pigments, unlike existing analysis methods. For this experiment, green and other pigments used during the modern and contemporary era were selected and made into painted samples under various mixing conditions that reflect their actual uses. Through hyperspectral analysis, their reflectance characteristics were observed, which enables the derivation of four main features that can distinguish the type of pigments used for color mixture. Based on these, a pigment identification system was designed in the form of a flowchart, and its utility was confirmed through site application. Despite some limitations at this stage, the technique can be complemented by considering proper measurement methods or the continuous accumulation of samples and data. If a database on various materials, mixing ratios, painting techniques, and other external interference factors is developed in future research, it would provide the foundation for a faster and safer analysis environment of Dancheong sites.
