Context-Awareness Modeling Method using Timed Petri-nets (시간 페트리 넷을 이용한 상황인지 모델링 기법)

  • Increasing interest and technological advances in smart home has led to active research on context-awareness service and prediction algorithms such as Bayesian Networks, Tree-Dimensional Structures and Genetic prediction algorithms. Context-awareness service presents that providing automatic customized service regarding individual user's pattern surely helps users improve the quality of life. However, it is difficult to implement context-awareness service because the problems are that handling coincidence with context information and exceptional cases have to consider. To overcome this problem, we proposes an Intelligent Sequential Matching Algorithm(ISMA), models context-awareness service using Timed Petri-net(TPN) which is petri-net to have time factor. The example scenario illustrates the effectiveness of the Timed Petri-net model and our proposed algorithm improves average 4~6% than traditional in the accuracy and reliability of prediction.

  • 시간 페트리 네트는 실시간 값을 갖는 이산사건 시스템을 모델링하고 해석하기 위한 방법중 하나이다. 시간 페트리 네트는 각 트랜지션에 대하여 두 개의 시간 값, 최초 발화 시간 $\alpha$$_{i}$와 최종 발화 시간 $\beta$$_{i}$를 갖는다. 본 논문에서는 최적 발화 시간을 결정하기 위하여 퍼지 이론을 적용한 퍼지 트랜지션 시간 페트리 네트를 제안하였다. 퍼지 트랜지션 시간 페트리 네트의 트랜지션 점화 시간 ${\gamma}$$_{i}$는 고정 최초 발화 시간 $\alpha$$_{i}$와 고정 최종 발화 시간 $\beta$$_{i}$ 사이에서 어떠한 복잡한 계산 절차나 임의의 조건 없이 입력정보를 이용한 퍼지 이론으로부터 결정된다. 교차로에서 교통 신호제어기는 퍼지 트랜지션 시간 페트리 네트에 의하여 모델링되고 해석되었다. 퍼지 트랜지션 시간 페트리 네트의 중요한 특성은 교통 신호기의 모델링과 시뮬레이션에 의해서 보여진다. 의해서 보여진다.

  • In this paper, we propose a Timed Fuzzy Petri Net(TFPN) model as a new model of real-time fuzzy control. The TFPN model, which is useful for fuzzy inference and fuzzy control is an integrated model of Timed PetriNet and Fuzzy Petri Net. Additionally, a Timed Fuzzy Control Language is defined as a textual specification model of fuzzy control rues, and proposed a TFPN modeling method. The TFPN model is a Petri Net formalism of fuzzy control systems. Execution rule is consisted of marking(i.e,fuzzyfication) and firing(i.e,inference and defuzzyfication) procedures. A simple case work by using TFPN model shows us computing time of inference and defuzzyfication is low and uncertainty and visibility of fuzzy control rule are modeled effectively.

  • 본 논문에서는 주어진 자동화 시스템에 대하여 Critical Path 기법을 적용한 최적화 연구를 수행하였다. 탄약 운반 자동화 시스템에 대하여 공정순서와 시간개념이 들어간 Timed Petri-Net을 이용한 이산사건 공정모델을 구축하였으며, 이를 기초로 초기조건 및 제약조건을 고려하여 제악탐색기법을 이용하여 Critical Path를 찾고 여유 공정을 산출항으로써 공정 시간 최적화를 수행하였다.

  • In this paper, we propose a BTPN (Beta-distributed Timed Petri Net) model which is not only an effective multimedia synchronization and authoring specification model, but also a direct control model for playout of a title. Methods of specification of relationships among all media objects in a title by using the BTPN structure and language, as well as methods of analysis of the BTPN by means of a Remaining Timed Reachability Graph and Timing diagram, are proposed. A concept of critical object path, coming from PERT/CPM, is useful for modeling the uncertainty of playout of a multimedia title and editing of title.

  • The need for including time variables in various type of modeled Discrete Event Dynamic Systems(DEDSs) is apparent since the modeled systems are real time in nature. In the real world, almost all event is related to time. A Time Petri Net(TPN) is one of methods for model ins and analyzing of DEDSs with real time values. Two time values, ${\alpha}$$\sub$i/ and ${\beta}$$\sub$i/ are defined for each transition. In this paper, Ire present Fuzzy Transition Timed Petri Net(FTTPN) to determine the optimal transition firing time between ${\alpha}$$\sub$i/ and ${\beta}$$\sub$i/ using fuzzy theory. The traffic signal controller in an intersection is modeled and analyzed by FTTPN.

  • A reduction method of GSPN (generalized stochastic Petri net) is proposed. A GSPN is basically a SPN (stochastic Petri net) with transition a that are either timed or immediate. Then the proposed method is defined on the basis of the dynamic behavior and the structure of the net. The reduction preserves the properties such as liveness, boundedness, and allows easy analysis of the GSPN.

  • Flelxible Manufacturing Systems(FMS), which consist of various machine groups, can produce machine parts in different physical dimensions and lot sizes. In this paper, a novel method which utilizes Colored and Timed Petri Net is proposed to model a FMS. Each machine group of FMS is modulized and modeled using expanded Petri Nets. Colored and Timed Petri Nets are defined, and the flexible manufacturing systems's design algorithm based on this definition is developed and verified in a real FMS plant by computer simulations.

  • In this paper, an optimal group control for elevator systems is proposed with timed Petri net based approach. Elevator system is modeled by time Petri nets and hall call response times are estimated with moment generating functions (MGFs) methos, which is applicable to real traffic patterns. Two assignment policies are proposed to satisfy the demands of passengers(i.e. hall/car calls) and to handle exceptional situations. In addition, optimal algorithms are implementated to minimize cost functions. THe performances of the elevator system employing the proposed algorithms are compared with each others in ways of several performance measures by a computer simulation.

  • Manufacturing companies must possess a new type of production system with characteristics of reconfigurability, reusability and scalability (Dove 1995), i.e. an agile manufacturing system. Such system will allow flexibility not only in producing a variety of part, but also in changing the system itself, which is a difference form flexible manufacturing systems. A fundamental early step in the reconfiguring process for agile manufacturing system is to develop a model that adequately describes the proposed systems, in order to be able to study and evaluate the impact of the reconfiguring decision on the system performance, before its construction. Therefore, in this paper, an Object & Knowledge-based Interval Timed Petri-Net (OKITPN) approach is proposed.
