사회비용을 반영한 최적택시거리.시간 병산요금구조 (Derivation of Optimum Time and Distance Taxi Fare Structure Based on Social Costs)

  • The objective of this paper is to derive a optimum distance and time taxi fare structure based on social costs. Social costs expressed in terms of congestion and vehicle operating costs were successfully internalized. Speed and volume data for three major arterials in Seoul CBD were used. Optimum congestion charge turned out to be 97.01 Won/Km which can be regarded as congestion tax in the context of Seoul CBD. This congestion tax can possibly be incorporated into time-based taxi fare structure. Congestion is likely to be reduced as a result of imposition of time-based taxi fare which reflects social costs.

여자 윈드서핑 선수의 경기 중 Global Positioning System 정보를 활용한 경기력 분석 (Analysis of Female Windsurfers' Performance Using Global Positioning System Information During Competitions)

  • Objective: This study aimed to identify the different wind speed categories and competitive level among windsurfers through GPS variables to provide the useful information on the development of training programs for enhancing windsurfers' performance. Method: Data from 69 female athletes who participated in 27 races during the 2018-2019 windsurfing season were used for the analysis. Average board speed, total race time, total distance, upwind race time, downwind race time, beam reach race time were collected through GPS. Unconfirmed data were excluded along with penalty point data. The wind conditions were classified as light, light to medium, medium, medium to heavy, and heavy wind, the competitive levels were classified as level 1, level 2, and level 3. Results: As for the average board speed, the level 1 or level 2 group showed higher board speed than the level 3 group in all wind conditions except for the light wind. The total race time and upwind race time showed less time in level 1 or level 2 group than level 3 group in all wind conditions. The total distance, downwind race time and beam reach race time showed less distance and time in level1 group than level 3 group under sufficient wind conditions. Conclusion: Our results show that the aerobic capacity to sustain pumping during upwind course in wind conditions below 15 kts effects performance. In wind conditions of 15 kts or more, indicated that the board control for the fast board speed and small distance required during up, down, beam reach courses had an effect on competition performance. This information can be provided to windsurfers and coaching as basic data for training programs to improve performance.

CCA 투영기법을 사용한 모션 데이터의 대화식 얼굴 표정 애니메이션 (Interactive Facial Expression Animation of Motion Data using CCA)

  • 본 논문은 다량의 고차원 얼굴 표정 모션 데이터를 2차원 공간에 분포시키고, 애니메이터가 이 공간을 항해하면서 원하는 표정들을 실시간 적으로 선택함으로써 얼굴 표정 애니메이션을 생성하는 방법을 기술한다. 본 논문에서는 약 2400여개의 얼굴 표정 프레임을 이용하여 표정공간을 구성하였다. 표정공간의 생성은 임의의 두 표정간의 최단거리의 결정으로 귀결된다. 표정공간은 다양체 공간으로서 이 공간내의 두 점간의 거리는 다음과 같이 근사적으로 표현한다. 임의의 마커간의 거리를 표시하는 거리행렬을 사용하여 각 표정의 상태를 표현하는 표정상태벡터를 정의한 후, 두 표정이 인접해 있으면, 이를 두 표정 간 최단거리(다양체 거리)에 대한 근사치로 간주한다. 그리하여 인접 표정들 간의 인접거리가 결정되면, 이들 인접거리들을 연결하여 임의의 두 표정 상태간의 최단거리를 구하는데, 이를 위해 Floyd 알고리즘을 이용한다. 다차원 공간인 표정공간을 가시화하기 위해서는 CCA 투영기법을 이용하여 2차원 평면에 투영시켰다 얼굴 애니메이션은 사용자 인터베이스를 사용하여 애니메이터들이 2차원 공간을 항해하면서 실시간으로 생성한다.

The Detection Distance of Colored Target using Various Automotive Headlamps

  • As headlamp technology advances, newly developed various headlamps were introduced in the market. The objective of this study is to quantitatively analyze the detection distance of the recently developed LED headlamps and existing headlamps, complying with specific technical standard. Background: The detection distance of headlamps is very important to prevent automobile accident at night time. The studies of detection distance of LED, Halogen and HID headlamp have been conducted, but no study has shown the detection distance of pedestrian target with various colors (Black, White, Blue). Method: The experiment of detection distance was conducted with 30 people, which divide into 2 groups as 15 men and 15 women. Automatic transferable target on the rail was manufactured in order to reduce the error of study's result, and ANOVA also conducted to analyze the main effect with sign color, sex and headlamp classified by detection distance. In addition, the luminance by average detection distance was measured as well. Results: The detection distance of headlamps was HID > LED > Halogen. The luminance measure of LED headlamp was lower than HID and Halogen headlamps. Conclusion: The headlamp performs a very significant role for safety at night time but it needs to be improved through assessment of visual characteristics. Also, it needs to be suggested the need of test method for dynamic detection distance concerning technical development is suggested.

이중 도약을 이용한 효율적인 공간 도약법 (An efficient space-leaping method using double leaping)

  • 공간 도약법(space leaping)은 가속화된 영상순서 볼륨 렌더링(image-order volume rendering) 방법의 하나로서 광선 추적 시 빈 공간을 식별하여 도약하도록 함으로써 렌더링 속도를 향상시킨다. 이 방법은 렌더링 속도는 빠르지만 공간 도약을 위한 자료구조를 만들기 위한 전처리 시간이 오래 걸리는 문제가 있다. 본 논문에서는 공간 도약법에서 도약 거리를 기존의 방법보다 두 배로 하는 미리 보기 샘플링 방법을 제안한다. 이 방법은 렌더링 속도의 큰 변화없이 전처리 과정인 거리 맵 생성의 시간을 단축시킬 수 있으며, 기존의 방법보다 렌더링 속도를 빠르게 하는 효과도 있다.

The Influence of Source Term Release Parameters on Health Effects

  • The influence of source term release parameters on offsite health effects was examined for the YGN 3&4 nuclear power plants. The release parameters considered in this study are release height, heat content, and release time. The effects of core inventory change as a function of fuel burnup was also examined. The health effects by the change of release parameters are early fatalities, cancer fatalities, and early fatality distance. The results showed that early fatalities and early fatality distance decrease as release height increases, although it does not have significant influence on cancer fatalities. The values of both early and late health effects decrease as heat content increases. As release time increases, health consequence shows maximum value in 2 hours of release time and then decreases rapidly. As fuel burnup increases, early fatalities decrease rapidly, while cancer fatalities increase rapidly. Both cases show little variation afterward. Early fatality distance is almost same in all fuel turnup history. The information obtained through this research is very useful in developing strategies for reducing offsite consequences when combined with the influence of weather conditions on offsite risks.

  • This paper describes real time dynamic tests on the digital distance relay using new digital test system including RTDS(Real Time Digital Simulator) in KEPRI. The RTDS is developed by the Manitoba HVDC Reserch Centre and consists of specialized hardware and software which allows transients simulation of electrical power systems in real time. From high impedance fault test, it is known that the characteritics of distance reach is influenced by load flow. A detailed discussion of relay test using the RTDS simulator, high impedance faults and test results are included in the paper.

가열된 표면에 고착된 한 쌍의 액적 증발 특성 (Evaporation Characteristics of Paired Sessile Droplets on a Heated Substrate)

  • This study investigates the evaporation characteristics of paired sessile droplets on a heated substrate. In particular, the evaporation time and contact line behaviors were analyzed based on the droplet-to-droplet distance and substrate temperature. The contact line behavior and volume variations were visualized using the shadowgraph method. It was observed that the contact diameter and contact angle exhibited similar behavior for both single and paired droplets regardless of the droplet-to-droplet distance and substrate temperature. The paired droplets demonstrated a longer evaporation time than the single droplet due to the vapor accumulation between the droplets. Furthermore, the scaled lifetime, defined as the ratio of evaporation time between paired and single droplets, increased as the droplet-to-droplet distance decreased and decreased as the substrate temperature increased, attributed natural convection.

신고 시간대에 따른 출동거리와 현장도착 시간 간의 상관 관계 (Correlation between En route distance and Role time on call received hours)

  • Purpose: This study was to clarify correlation between en route distance and role time on call received hours. Methods: Data on en route distance(dependent variable), role time(independent variable) from 387 prehospital care reports documented by EMS in Kyonggi Provincial Fire and Disaster Headquarters and Seoul Metropolitan Fire and Disaster Department between 21 and 10 June 2010 were randomly chosen for simple regression analysis using Windows SPSS 12. OK. This analysis was conducted nine times on unit hour divided to eight call received and overall. Results: Statistically significant regression equations( Y=2.414+1.206X for 09:00~11:59, Y=3.753+.662X for 12:00~14:59, Y=2.215+1.458X for 15:00~17:59, Y=2.600+.822X for 21:00~23:59, Y=5. 445+.263X for overall) were derieved from the data. Conclusion: These equations having linear relationship may be utilized as a method for system status management to effectively response to emergency call.

  • 본 논문에서는 Alamouti[1], Tarokh[14], Xia[11]에 의해 도입된 직교 시공간 부호를 포함한 임의의 선형 직교 시공간 블록 부호에 대해, 느린 레일라이 페이딩 채널(slow Rayleigh fading channel)의 쌍간 오율(pairwise error probability)의 정확한 표현이 2개의 전송된 부호어 행렬(codeword matrices) 사이의 부호어 심볼 거리(codeword symbol distance)가 아니라, 2개의 메시지 벡터(messgae vector) 사이의 메시지 심볼 거리(message symbol distance)의 식으로 유도된다. 1차원 성분의 심볼 오율을 이용하여, 선형 직교 시공간 부호의 심볼 오율의 정확한 폐형의 표현이 QPSK, 16-QAM, 64-QAM과 256-QAM에 대해 유도된다.
