With the development of information technology (IT), various information systems (IS) such as Web-based systems and mobile systems have appeared utilizing different technologies. However, recent studies on IS use and user satisfaction rarely account for technological differences among IS and environmental characteristics where IS are intended to be used. The purpose of this research is to investigate the determinants of the use of Web-based ticketing systems for cultural activities and to empirically validate their relationships. Environmental psychology suggests that human beings respond to external stimuli from environments with their emotions, and their emotional states influence human actions, e.g., IS use in this research. Applying environmental psychology to the use of Web-based systems in the culture and entertainment industry, we propose that web site characteristics first influence a user's internal state of mind (i.e., flow) and then the flow state influences the IS use. Studies related to the state of flow collectively affirm the key role played by the flow construct in shaping individual attitudes and behaviors toward IS. Users' flow states are captured by their shopping enjoyment, perceived behavioral control, and the level of concentration on the IS use. Referring to social presence theory, we have included such web site characteristics as content quality, context of web site, and community quality. In our research model, a second order construct is utilized to represent web site quality, because flow theory suggests that holistic experiences with web-based systems (rather than individual characteristics of the web site) are important in explaining the IS use. Further, we have included trust as another important factor influencing the IS use since business transactions on the web encompass higher uncertainty comparing to offline transactions. In order to test our hypotheses, we have conducted an online survey which results in 1,141 valid responses in the final sample. The data were collected from respondents who have experiences in Internet ticketing systems. Although it was a convenient sample, the sample represents a wide variety of user demographics. Validity and reliability of the research instrument were tested and research hypotheses were examined using PLS Graph 3.0. The results indicate that web site characteristics significantly influence the level of user concentration, user's enjoyment in shopping, and perceived behavioral control. Further, the use of Internet ticketing systems is influenced by users' flow states and trust in the web channel. User satisfaction is turned out to be affected by the use of Internet ticketing systems. Unlike extant research on the relationship between web site characteristics and its use, our study has found that, in the culture and entertainment industry, the impact of web site characteristics on IS use is mediated by a user's flow state. This finding has a practical implication that web site design should include as many features that enhance shopping enjoyment and concentration. Other practical implications of these findings and future research implications are also discussed.

In general, railroad operation companies sell tickets to maximize their profits by applying the ticketing release time (when selling any tickets regardless of trip distances). This study is to analyze the effect of the release time on KTX ticket reservation behavior. The reservation behavior in this study means the reservation time calculated by difference between ticketing time and departure time. The data come from KTX ticket sales data of Gyeongbu-line for a week including Saturday and Sunday. The results show that the factors to affect the reservation time are day of the week, trip distance and operation direction, in addition to the release time. Furthermore, most of tickets were reserved three hours before their departure time, and most of the up line weekend users reserved their tickets a day before the departure time. Before the release time, reservation time was affected by up line and long distance travel. On the other hand, after the release time, it was affected by long distance travel and Sunday.
CRS, which was initially developed to support airline reservation is now the main part of e-business of airlines, and it decides the degree of prompt and accurate itinerary for travelers due to the remarkable difference in availability inquiry and seats reservation information according to CRS joining level CRS joining level also decides the exactness of reservation, ticketing and traffic data collection and plays the most important role in the exactness of advanced forecast of demand, appropriate seats allocation, and overbooking. Therefore, it provides front end function like seats reservation, schedule display, fare inquiry on-line linked with CRS and back office function like sales result of travel agents, accounting administration. stock administration and customer administration and decides the level of an airline's e-business.
Purpose: The purpose of this study is to collect and analyze a large amount of data from online ticket distribution platforms that offer multiple airlines and different routes so that they can improve their ticket distribution marketing strategies and provide services that are more suitable for consumer's needs. The results of this study will help airlines improve the quality of their online platform services to provide more benefits and convenience by providing access to multiple airlines and routes around the world on one platform. Research design, data and methodology: For the study, 200 people completed the survey between May 1 and June 15, 2024, of which 191 copies were used in the study. Results: The hypothesis testing results of this study showed that among the components of the recommendation algorithm, decision comport, novelty, and evoked interest recurrence had a positive effect on perceived recommendation quality, but curiosity did not have a positive effect on recommendation quality. The perceived recommendation quality of the online platform positively influenced recommendation satisfaction, and the higher the perceived recommendation quality, the higher the intention to continue the relationship. Finally, higher recommendation satisfaction was associated with higher relationship continuation intention. Conclusion: it's important to continue researching online ticketing platforms. Online platforms will also need to be systems that use technology and data analytics to provide a better user experience and more benefits.

This study provides the empirical testing to test the influences of contemporary leadership styles (i.e., transactional and transformational) on job satisfaction and customer satisfaction as the mediating variable between job satisfaction and customer loyalty. The approach utilized in this study was a quantitative research design using a survey model. The participants of this study were recruited from 160 front-liners in the airline's industry in Indonesia. This study employed 160 front liners (flight attendants, reservation/ticketing, and check-in-counter officers) who worked in Branch Office/General Sales Agent of Indonesian commercial airlines. The studied airlines serve domestic routes based at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport. Furthermore, the data were examined the four developed hypotheses by using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The primary results are: First, in the context of job satisfaction, both leadership styles (i.e., transactional and transformational) have similar influences; Second, job satisfaction affects customer satisfaction positively and significant, Third, customer loyalty is driven by passengers' satisfaction when they are utilizing the airline services. The findings imply that the working-role encouragement is essential to maximize the productivity of front-liners to serve their customer well. This research supports on developing the general knowledge based on leadership styles in the context of the airline's industry in managing the human resources strategically.

NFC represents the 2nd generation of the proximity contact-less technology, which beyond the RFID, supports peer-to-peer communication, and enables consumer access to aggregated services, anytime, anywhere, with any type of consumer stationary and mobile devices. NFC is a short range device wireless technology designed to exchange data, initiate connections with other wireless networks and act as a secured smart key for access to services such as cashless payment, ticketing, on-line entertainment and access control. In this paper, the NFC services for social networking applications are studied, and the signal flow of SNS application based on NFC P2P for smart devices and server model is proposed.
Mobile commerce is defined as any direct or indirect transaction conducted and facilitated through a wireless telecommunication network such as payment, ticketing, auction and mobile banking. Despite the importance of mobile commerce, there have not been so many academic studies on the unique characteristics of mobile commerce environments. In this study, our research model is developed based on TAM(Technology Acceptance Model) to investigate the user's technology acceptance process in mobile commerce environment. The factors, such as ubiquity, compatibility, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, cost, security, attitude and behavior intention for mobile commerce were selected from pier study in information systems area. The data for empirical analysis of the research model is collected online-questionnaire of 167 mobile commerce users in South Korea. The hypotheses were analyzed using SPSS 15.0 and AMOS 7.0. The results of our study show that: (1) compatibility, perceived usefulness and security had influences on the attitude whereas perceived ease of use and cost did not have any significant impact on the attitude, (2) compatibility influenced perceived usefulness whereas perceived ease of use did not, and finally (3) ubiquity, perceived usefulness and attitude had considerable influences on intention for mobile commerce. Therefore, practitioners should focus on enhancing security, quality of contents and services as well as offering what mobile commerce users want. The results of this study may useful for academicians and practitioners alike.
Purpose: This study identifies preventive measures for VOC management by analyzing the causes and effects of factors that contribute to high risk service failure using FMEA on KORAIL VOC data. Methods: Two research methods were used. First, a Risk Priority Number (RPN) was assigned to each KORAIL VOC based on Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA). Second, multiple regression analysis was run with RPN factors that include severity, occurrence, and detection as the independent variables and customer dissatisfaction as the dependent variable. Results: Multiple regression analysis showed that RPN factors including severity, occurrence, and detection had significantly positive relationship with customer dissatisfaction. Based on these results, an FMEA was performed on VOC categories with high RPN for railroad stations including platform, ticketing, ticket verification, parking, and escalator, and VOC categories with high RPN for trains including entrance doors, cafes, air quality, announcement, and ticket verification. Conclusion: This study has practical implications to service failure management. A priority order using FMEA was established for the list of customer dissatisfactions that should be addressed to actively manage service failure, and strategies for tackling this priority list are offered.
The growth of mobile technology particularly smartphone applications such as ticketing, access control, and making payments are on the increase. Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC)-based systems have also become widely available in the market offering various convenient services by bringing smartphones in proximity to ECC-enabled objects. When a system user attempts to establish a connection, the AIK sends hashes to a server that then verifies the values. ECC can be used with various operating systems in conjunction with other technologies such as biometric verification systems, smart cards, anti-virus programs, and firewalls. The use of Elliptic-curve cryptography ensures efficient verification and signing of security status verification reports which allows the system to take advantage of Trusted Computing Technologies. This paper proposes a device payment method based on ECC and Shuffling based on distributed key exchange. Our study focuses on the secure and efficient implementation of ECC in payment device. This novel approach is well secure against intruders and will prevent the unauthorized extraction of information from communication. It converts plaintext into ASCII value that leads to the point of curve, then after, it performs shuffling to encrypt and decrypt the data to generate secret shared key used by both sender and receiver.
