55Mn이 첨가된 SrTiO3 단 결정의 광 전이 특성연구 (Magneto-optical Properties of 55Mn-doped SrTiO3 Single Crystal)

  • Mori-Kawabata의 사영 연산자 방법을 $^{55}Mn$이 첨가된 $SrTiO^3$ 단 결정에 직접 적용하여, 이를 운동 방정식의 형태로 만드는 이론 체계를 사용하여 선모양 함수를 계산하였다. 외부 진동수 ${\nu}_0$ = 9.6 GHz에서 서로 다른 농도 [Mn] = 0.5 wt%와 2 wt%에 대한 온도 의존성으로 선폭을 조사하였다. 온도가 증가함에 따라 선폭은 감소하는 경향으로 확인되었고, 이는 선모양의 운동 좁아짐으로 보이며 고온영역 에서는 실험값과 비교적 일치함을 알 수 있었다. 이와 같이 계를 기술하는 스핀 해밀토니안에 연산자 방법을 이용한 선모양 함수는 실제 계의 적용에 편리한 급수전개로 하였으며, 다른 방법들에 비해 비교적 쉽게 계산할 수 있었다.

  • Dielectric properties of Ba1-$\chi$Sr$\chi$Ti1-yCayO3-y ceramics, where Sr and Ca were doped to Ba-site and Ti-site within the range of 0 x 0.24 and 0 y 0.05, respectively, were investigated. The substitution of Ca for Ti, which maintained the high resistivity of these formulations after sintering in a reducing atmosphere, was confirmed. Ca addition decreased the tetragonality c/a, increased the unit cell volume, and lowered Curie temperature, which were attributed to the occupancy of Ca2+ ions on Ti-sites. The lowering of Curie temperature by Ca addition was affected by the substitution of Sr for Ba-site; within 2 mol% of Ca, Curie temperature was lowered at a rate of 2$0^{\circ}C$ and 16$^{\circ}C$ per mol% of Ca at x=0 and x=0.08, respectively. Whereas the resistivity of the formulations without Ca was reduced to 107 {{{{ OMEGA }}cm, when sintered at low oxygen partial pressure of 10-9 MPa, the resistivity value higher than 1011 {{{{ OMEGA }}cm was maintained for the formulations containing Ca more than 0.5 mol%. Dielectric loss factor, tan$\delta$, was about 1% for most formulations.

Electronic and Magnetic Properties of Ti1-xMxO2-δ (M=Co and Fe) Thin Films Grown by Sol-gel Method

  • Electronic and magnetic properties of $Ti_{1-x}M_xO_{2-\delta}$ (M=Co and Fe) thin films grown by sol-gel method have been investigated. Anatase and rutile $Ti_{1-x}Co_xO_{2-\delta}$ films were successfully grown on $Al_2O_3$ (0001) substrates and exhibited p-type electrical conductivity while the undoped films n-type conductivity. Room temperature vibrating sample magnetometry measurements on the anatase and rutile $Ti_{1-x}Co_xO_{2-\delta}$ films with same x ($=4.8 at.{\%}$) showed quite similar magnetic hysteresis curves with the saturation magnetic moment of $\~4 {\mu}_B$ per Co ion despite their differences in structural and electronic properties. Such giant magnetic moment is attributable to the unquenched orbital moment of the $Co^{2+}$ ions substituting the octahedral $Ti^{4+}$ sites. Similar ferromagnetic behavior was observed for $Ti_{1-x}Fe_xO_{2-\delta}$ films that are highly resistive compared to the Co doped samples. Saturation magnetic moment was found to decrease for higher x, i.e., $\~2$ and $\~1.5 {\mu}_B$ per Fe ion for x=2.4 and 5.8 at. $\%$, respectively. Conversion electron $M\ddot{o}ssbauer$ spectroscopy measurements predicted the coexistence of $Fe^{2+}$ and $Fe^{3+}$ ions at the octahedral sites of $Ti_{1-x}Fe_xO_{2-\delta}$.

  • 양극 활물질의 전기화학적 성능을 개선하기 위하여, 농도 구배형 전구체를 사용한 boron-doped $LiNi_{0.90}Co_{0.05}Ti_{0.05}O_2$를 합성하였다. 제조된 양극 활물질의 특성은 XRD, SEM, EDS, PSA, ICP-OES 및 전기전도도 측정을 통하여 분석하였다. 초기 충 방전 용량, 사이클, 순환전압전류, 율속 특성 및 임피던스 테스트를 통해 전기화학적 성능을 조사하였다. 붕소가 0.5 mol% 도핑된 $LiNi_{0.90}Co_{0.05}Ti_{0.05}O_2$ 양극 활물질은 2.7~4.3 V (vs. $Li/Li^+$)의 전압 범위에서 0.5 C의 전류를 인가했을 때, 187 mAh/g의 용량을 보이며 50 사이클 이후 94.7%의 용량 유지율을 보였다. 상대적으로 고전압인 2.7~4.5 V (vs. $Li/Li^+$)의 전압 범위에서는 200 mAh/g의 높은 용량을 보이며 50 사이클 이후 80.5%의 용량 유지율을 나타냈다.

  • The effect of NiO addition on the microstructure and microwave dielectric properties of (Zr$_{0.8}$Sn$_{0.2}$)TiO$_4$(ZST) was investigated. With the NiO addition, a dense ZST body of density higher than 95% has been achieved in the sintering temperature range of 1400 to 150$0^{\circ}C$. Energy dispersive X-ray spectrometry (EDS) analysis of sintered specimen shows the presence of second phase at grain boundaries, which is considered to be NiTiO$_3$. Dielectric constant of the specimen is found to increase linearly with density. Q-values and TC$_{f}$decrease with increasing NiO content. The variation of dielectric properties with NiO content is discussed in term of the second phase. The ZST ceramics with small amount of additive gave $\varepsilon$$_{r}$=38, Q=7000 at 7 GHz and TC$_{f}$=-0.5 ppm/$^{\circ}C$, comparable with the values obtained by previous investigation.stigation.

  • Lead-free bismuth-layered perovskite ferroelectric europium-substituted $Bi_{4}Ti_{3}O_{12}(BTO)$ thin films have been successfully deposited on Pt/Ti/$SiO_2$/Si substrate by a sol-gel spin-coating process. $Bi(TMHD)_3,\;Eu(THMD)_3,\;Ti(OiPr)_4$ were used as the precursors, which were dissolved in 2-methoxyethanol. The thin films were annealed at various temperatures from $600^{\circ}\;to\;720^{\circ}C$ in oxygen ambient for 1 hr, which was followed by post-annealed for 1 hr after depositing a Pt electrode to enhance the electrical properties. X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) were used to analyze the crystallinity and surface morphology of layered perovskite phase, respectively. The remanent polarization value of the BET thin films annealed at $720^{\circ}C\;was\;25.95{\mu}C/cm^2$ at an applied voltage of 5 V.

Sb-doped SnO2를 코팅한 도전성 섬유의 제조 (Fabrication of the Conductive Fiber Coated Sb-doped SnO2 Layer)

  • 본 연구는 티탄산칼륨 섬유(K2O·$nTiO_2$)를 제조한 후, 도전율이 우수한 Sb-doped $SnO_2$(ATO: Antimony Tin Oxide)를 티탄산 칼륨 섬유에 코팅하는 기술을 개발하는데 목적이 있다. 티탄산칼륨 섬유는 서냉 소성법으로 제조하였으며 섬유의 평균 길이는 $15{\mu}m$, 평균 직경은 $0.5{\mu}m$이었다. ATO를 졸-겔법, 공침법, 균일침전법등 세가지 방법으로 티탄산칼륨 섬유에 코팅 하였으며 ATO 코팅된 티탄산칼륨 섬유는 ATO 함량(5∼70 wt%), Sb 함량(0∼20 wt%), 온도($450∼800^{\circ}C$), 수세 여부 및 회수(3∼4회) 등을 변화 시키며 비저항 변화를 관찰하였다. 공침법의 경우 ATO 함량이 30wt%에서 103${\Omega}$·cm 낮은 비저항을 나타내었으며, 그 이상의 함량에서는 거의 일정한 값($60{\Omega}{\cdot}cm∼90{\Omega}{\cdot}$cm)을 보였다.

홀뮴 도핑된 TiO2를 이용한 광전기화학 수소 제조 (Photoelectrochemical Hydrogen Production with Holmium-doped TiO2)

  • Holmium-doped TiO2 nanotubes (Ho-TNTs) were manufactured through anodization treatment and electrochemical deposition, and optimization experiments were conducted using various Holmium doping concentrations and time as variables. Surface as well as electrochemical characteristics were analyzed to study the prepared photocatalysts. Ho-TNTs were found to exist only in anatase phase through X-ray diffraction analysis. Ho-TNTs with 0.01 wt% 100 seconds shows a photocurrent density of 3.788 mA/cm2 and an effective photo-conversion efficiency (PCE) of 4.30%, which is more efficient than pure TiO2 nanotubes (pure-TNTs) (at bias potential 1.5 V vs. Hg/HgO). The photocatalytic activity of the aforementioned Ho-TNTs for hydrogen production was evaluated with the result of -29.20 µmol/h·cm2.

The Dual-frequency (20/40 kHz) Ultrasound Assisted Photocatalysis with the Active Carbon Fiber-loaded Fe3+-TiO2 as Photocatalyst for Degradation of Organic Dye

  • Dual-frequency ultrasound assisted photocatalysis (DUAP) method was proposed to degrade a stable organic model effluent, cresol red (CR), using the prepared $Fe^{3+}$-doped $TiO_2$ with active carbon fiber loading ($Fe^{3+}-TiO_2/ACF$) as photocatalyst. The influence of key factors, including Fe doping amount and power density of dual-frequency ultrasounds (20/40 kHz), on the degradation efficiency was investigated. The degradation efficiency rises to 98.7% in 60 min accompanied by the color removal of CR liquid samples from yellow to colorless transparent at optimal conditions. A synergy index of 1.40 was yielded by comparison with single ultrasound assisted photocatalysis (SUAP) and the photocatalysis without ultrasound assisted (UV/$TiO_2$), indicating that a clear synergistic effect exists for the DUAP process. Obvious enhancement of degradation efficiency for the DUAP process should be attributed to production of large amount of free radicals by strong cavitational effects of dual ultrasounds.

  • $Li_{0.44}MnO_2$양극재료는 리튬의 삽입과정에서 높은 가역성을 가지며 과충전이나 과방전 과정에서 쉽게 손상되지 않는다. $Mn_2O_3$가 불순물로 자주 나타나며 전기화학적으로 비활성이기 때문에 전극의 전기화학적 용량을 감소시킨다. 잉여의 NaOH 첨가는 $Mn_2O_3$를 X선 회절에 검출되지 않는 정도로 낮추었다. 용량 증가는 큰 단위세포를 가지는 양극재료에서 얻어질 수 있으므로, 망간의 일부를 이온반경이 큰 티타니움으로 치환하였으며, $Li_{0.44}T_{iy}Mn_{1-y}O_2$(여기서 y = 0.11, 0.22, 0.33, 0.44, 0.55) 조성의 분말들을 합성하여 특성을 평가하였다. ECPS 실험결과 $Li/P(EO)_8$LiTFSI/$LixTi_{0.22}Mn_{0.78}O_2$전지에서 150 mAh/g 최대가역용량 값이 얻어졌다. 티타니움이 치환된 망간산화물을 사용한 전지는 충방전당 0.12 %나 그 이하의 용량감소율을 나타내었다.
