강판 형상비 및 판폭두께비에 따른 강판전단벽의 변형모드 및 이력특성 (Hysteretic Characteristics and Deformation Modes of Steel Plate Shear Walls According to Aspect Ratios and Width-to-Thickness Ratios)

  • Steel plate shear walls (SPSWs) have been recognized as an effective seismic-force resisting systems due to their excellent strength and stiffness characteristics. The infill steel plate in a SPSW is constrained by a boundary frame consisting of vertical and horizontal structural members. The main purpose of this study was to investigate deformation modes and hysteretic characteristics of steel plate shear walls (SPSWs) to consider the effects of their aspect ratios and width-to-thicness ratios. The finite element model (FEM) was establish in order to simulate cyclic responses of SPSWs which have the two-side clamped boundary condition and made of conventional steel grade. The stress distribution obtained from the FEA results demonstrated that the principal stresses on steel plate with large thickness-to-width ratio were more uniformly distributed along its horizontal cross section due to the formation of multiple struts.

Al-Cu-Zr 합금 초소성 성형품의 기계적 성질 (mechanical properties of Al-Cu-Zr alloy parts by superplastic forming)

  • Although the bulge forming technique is currently employed in commercial superplastic forming processes, the uniaxial tensile test is still the most commonly used method for the evaluation of the superplasticity of materials due to its simplicity in testing. However, the results obtained from the uniaxial tensile test can not be applied in analyzing the characteristics of the real parts formed in multi-axial stress state. In this paper, using the tensile test specimen obtained from the square cup manufactured by superplastic forming, tensile strength and elongation have been investigated according to the strain and cavity volume fraction. From the result of experiment, tensile strength and elongation are decreased according to the strain and cavity in Al-6%Cu-0.4%Zr alloy. On condition of uniaxial stress, cavity volume fraction is increased on linear according to the increasement of thickness strain. However, on condition of biaxial stress there are critical point( E t=1.5-1.6) that the slope, the ratio of cavity volume fraction and strain, have been changed. Therefore, cavity volume fraction is different with respect to stress condition, although the same strain.

Le Fort I 상악골이동술 후 상순과 비부의 연조직 변화에 대한 임상통계학적 연구 (A clinico-statistical study of soft tissue changes of upper lip & nose following Le Fort I maxillary movement)

  • The purpose of this study was to assess the soft tissue changes of upper lip & nose using 38 patients who treated with Le Fort I osteotomy for the correction of dentofacial deformities. Patients were devided into three groups. One was advancement group of maxilla(Group I, N=14), another was impaction group of maxilla(Group II, N=12) and the other was combination group(advancement & impaction)(Group III, N=12). Preop. and 1 month postop. (T1), preop. and 6 months postop.(T2) were analyzed and compared. The results obtained were as follows : 1. The upper lip thickness(UL-VP) moved anteriorly approximately 62% of the horizontal maxillary change and this was significant in the advancement group(Group I) 2. The upper lip length(Stm-Sn) and the lower border of upper lip(Stm) moved superiorly 25%, 40% of the maxillary impaction group(Group II) (P<0.05) 3. There was significancy in the upper lip thicness(UL-VP) approximately 56% of the combination group(Group III) (P<0.05) 4. The nasolabial angle decreased in all groups, but there were no significancy.

한반도 남부 지각평형과 암석권의 유효탄성두께 (On the isostasy and effective elastic thicness of the lithosphere in southern prt of the Korean Peninsula)

  • 본 연구에서는 2002년까지 수집된 우리나라 일원의 각종 중력자료와 지형자료를 이용하여 한반도 남부지역(위도 $36.5^{\circ}N$, 경도 $127.5^{\circ}E$를 중심으로 하는 $332km{\times}332km$의 지역)에서 탄성판모델을 설정했을 때의 지각평형과 암석권의 탄성강도 및 유효탄성두께에 대하여 고찰해 보았다. 연구범위의 설정에 있어 이질적인 판구조환경을 가지고 있을 것으로 생각되는 동해의 영향을 배제하도록 하였다. 연구지역에서 파워스펙트럼분석에 의한 모호면의 평균깊이가 30km로 계산되었다. 지각을 단일층으로 가정하고 탄성판모델을 적용한 결과, 관측 코히어런스에서 짐이 300km이상의 파장을 가지면 거의 평형을 이루고 있고, 80km에서 300km 사이는 부분적으로 암석권의 강도에 의해 보상되고 있으며, 80km 이하의 파장의 경우는 거의 암석권의 강도에 의해 지지되고 있음이 나타난다. 지각모델과 강도를 가정하고 계산한 예측 코히어런스와 비교한 결과, 암석권의 탄성강도(flexural rigidity)는 $3.0{\times}10^{22}Nm$(유효탄성두께는 15km)로 나타났다. 이는 우리나라의 지각강도가 상당히 약하다는 것을 지시하며, 안정되고 오래된 지역에서 얻어진 결과보다는 해양이나 판의 경계부에서의 결과와 비슷하다. 우리나라의 경우 대규모의 지각변동과 그에 수반된 마그마의 관입이나 화산활동, 그리고 습곡과 단층 등의 영향은 암석권의 강도를 작게 만드는 원인으로 작용했을 것이다.
