With the introduction of the ubiquitous technology, the housing culture centers have demonstrated future housing image or technology. But Ubiquitous Home Services in the future housing were more focused on implementation of environment for the future than exhibition that consumers can experience. The purpose of this study was to identify ubiquitous home services which were realized in domestic future housing and to compare those with results of previous researches on demand for u-services. For this study, field study was conducted with 3 domestic future housings and 14 previous studies on demand of u-services were analyzed by the standard of residents demand. The results of the study showed that u-services for housework and leisure life more than those for security and health, were applied in the future housing. However, residents prefered u-services for security and control of indoor environment to those for housework and leisure life. As a result, it was found thatu-services which residents needed mainly were discordant with those that were displayed frequently in future housing. Also developing u-services reflected the needs of residents, a test bed has to be established in the future housing and then pre-evaluaiton can be conducted.

In this paper, we described the unique and novel method to prepare two kinds of electro-active particles, black and white particles with different polarity. The surface of the particles was characterized to be uniform and clean by adopting spray dryer as a tool for genesis of particles; neither surfactants nor high dielectric medium like water was employed during particle preparation step. The other purpose of this study is to investigate the factors that contribute high driving voltage of particlebased display like QR-LPD. We extracted parameters interaction between particle and electrode, and between oppositely charged particles. Here we reported an excellent behavior of particle-based display that showed low operating voltage, high contrast ratio as high as 8:1 without scarification of quick response time. By optimizing the particle size, charge per mass, selection of external additive sets, a lower driving voltage as low as 40V for the particles with $10{\mu}m$ volume average diameter was obtained.

Purpose: This study verified the characteristics and types of perceptions and attitudes toward a positive image of nurses, as perceived by new nurses, by applying Q-methodology. Methods: Participants were 37 new nurses serving at tertiary hospitals accommodating over 300 beds. Data were collected from April 1~30, 2021. Results: A positive image of nurses was categorized into four types: professional leadership, skilled empathy, experienced responsiveness, and cooperative sincerity. It is believed that this study will help establish a professional view of nurses by verifying the positive image of new nurses, who are likely to lead the future. Conclusion: Furthermore, by reducing the turnover of new nurses and increasing their job satisfaction, it would be possible to secure professional nursing personnel and the public's perception of good nurses, thereby contributing to the enhanced social status of nurses.

This study evaluated the effect of image type of the beauty trainer on satisfaction and stress regarding the major. The data were analyzed by spss 18.0. Frequency analysis, causal analysis, reliability analysis, T-test, one-way variance analysis, and multiple regression analysis were carried out, and the result is as following. First, as the result of analysis the image of beauty trainer, we defined inner, outer, and social image. Second, the difference between images of beauty trainers revealed that people with high interest in the major ranked the inner image of beauty trainer the highest. Respondent with the lowest and the higher class satisfaction also deemed inner image important. The same was for respondents with beauty awareness. For outer image, people with the lowest class satisfaction ranked outer image the highest. And people with beauty awareness recognized beauty trainer's outer image more important. Respondents who said the major have bleak future deemed outer image even important. While the social image was recognized the highest by respondents with lowest class satisfaction. Third, as we analyzed the correlation between the image type of beauty trainer and major stress/satisfaction, the higher the satisfaction for the trainer's outer and social image gave higher class satisfaction. And less stress about the major resulted in higher major satisfaction. Fourth, we evaluated the effect of trainer's image on the class satisfaction and stress. Fifth, the lower the awareness of inner image and the higher awareness of social image resulted in higher major stress. Lower inner image gave high major satisfaction, while high social image resulted in high major stress.

The purpose of this study is to suggest the direction of the future fashion by grasping the cyber fashion, which is discussed outstandingly in the recent fashion world, into internal expression and external features. The result of this study is as follows: Cyber fashion means the application of the electronic image, dynamic phenonmenon of machine, and the effects of light to fashion, and it has some external features of geometrical pattern, dynamic structure, and high-tech material and color: Aside from this noticeable characteristics, cyber fashion has some internal features of the direction toward future, the anti-culture, and the surreal. In this cyber fashion, first, computer will be introduced and used as the means to realize a dream of human being. Second, it will be designed with the ideal feature of future society. Third, it will be possible to develope material and design to solve ecological issue of human beings. Fourth, the fashion to give the peace and stability to human being will be popular.

At the moment, construction industry has negative images such as faulty construction, 3D industry and corruption/bribe and they are being projected onto normal people and those engaged in the industry through various news media. Not only does this worsen the lack of skilled manpower by affecting high school students who will be responsible for the construction industry in the future but also makes the future of the industry uncertain by promoting the avoidance of industrial jobs. Therefore, this study suggested basic data for improving the images of construction industry by investigating interest and images of workers in the industry that high school students think as promising construction manpower, and extracting the present negative images through evaluation of associated images.

AI is bringing about drastic changes not only in the aspect of technologies but also in society and culture. Medical AI based on deep learning have developed rapidly. Especially, the field of medical image analysis has been proven that AI can identify the characteristics of medical images more accurately and quickly than clinicians. Evaluating the latest results of the AI-based medical image processing is important for the implication for the development direction of medical AI. In this paper, we analyze and evaluate the latest trends in AI-based medical image analysis, which is showing great achievements in the field of medical AI in the healthcare industry. We analyze deep learning models for medical image analysis and AI-based medical image segmentation for quantitative analysis. Also, we evaluate the future development direction in terms of marketability as well as the size and characteristics of the medical AI market and the restrictions to market growth. For evaluating the latest trend in the deep learning-based medical image processing, we analyze the latest research results on the deep learning-based medical image processing and data of medical AI market. The analyzed trends provide the overall views and implication for the developing deep learning in the medical fields.

As the accuracy of digital photogrammetry is restricted by the resolution of image to be used, it is axiomatic that the resolution of image should be improved. As for the method to constitute hardware with CCD sensor that capacity was expanded or the method to acquire the image of high resolution by deciding the quantity of sub-pixel in advance through moving sensor, the price is expensive. This study tries to enhance the resolution of low resolution image by acquiring the image with the digital camera that the price is cheap and deciding shifts and rotations through matching multiple digital image by means of least square method. As the result of study, the resolution of digital image was improved greatly. So, not only the digital photogrammetry which has the competitive power of price economically is possible in the future but also the application is expected widely.

This study examined the pixel's expression trend and nature featured in contemporary fashion, which works as a basic unit symbolizing the digital image, paying attention to its formativeness. The work through this process aimed at suggesting an opportunity for recognition about pixel image utilized as a formative component beyond its simple meaning of unit and providing the fundamental materials for usage in creative fashion design reflecting the digital emotion in the future, In research method, literature review was followed on pixel and the empirical study about its image was also performed that was found in the modern fashion. As a result, the trend in pixel has these characteristics. Its first nature lies in its plane expression. It was printed as mosaic or graphic grid image or expressed through patchwork technique. Also, rather than a certain form or figure, its unique image was emphasized according to the applied color, size, and position. Second, a stepwise pattern in pixel was applied to external format for part of clothing, eye glass and necktie, indicating some interest and wit. Third, in application to plane and external shape, the graphically modernized effect was realized, not to mention the illusive image with cubic expression. As shown, the characteristics in contemporary fashion via pixel expression were given in fantastic image, optical humor, and reflection of digital value.

The technologies of image acquisition, display, and storage of the breast have been developed in their specialized fields in recent years. The image acquisition system is a device that absorbs and stores images after examining breast tissue using X-ray. Due to the specificity and sensitivity of imaging, the early detection of breast cancer is feasible. In this paper, the current technologies for digital mammography are reviewed, and we propose a digital mammography and evaluate the performance of the implemented system.
