  • Ice cream color is delivered brand stories to consumer through visual sense stimulation. Today's consumption patterns reflect not just five-senses(look, taste, hear, touch, smell) satisfaction but also the consumption of satisfaction through brand value. these marketing of utilized color is using in beauty design area also. therefore these a study is consisting the theoretical and empirical research, that's for implemented of storytelling the beauty design. on this base contemplation 'B' brand ice cream's color and brand story through the theoretical research, and express the derived design on nails by the empirical research. As a result, a study is implied fusion of ice cream color and nail art design, that believed to serve as a basic source of beauty design and color imagnation that reflect the color of specific brand.

  • In the era of autonomous ships, artificial intelligence technology will be able to provide a more advanced immersive experience by combining AR and VR. Immersion technology can provide a real-like experience and sensibility by dazzling the five senses of the user. In autonomous operation through VR or AR, it is necessary to provide a natural environment in which seafarers can immerse themselves in navigation and interact with virtual ships. In this study, in preparation for the era of autonomous ships, what are the key characteristics that seafarer can realize immersive user experience during autonomous navigation through VR or AR.

Effects of Snoezelen Room on Agitated Behavior of People with Dementia (스노잘렌 공간이 치매노인 동요행동에 미치는 영향)

  • Snoezelen, multi-sensory stimulation, provides stimulation through the visual, aural, tactile, olfactory, gustatory and proprioceptive senses. Its aim is to be a relaxing, feeling of safety, novelty and stimulation with no expectations for performance. Agitated behavior of people with dementia causes significant problems and distress for cares. The objective of this research study was to test the effects of Snoezelen room on physical and verbal agitated behaviors of people with dementia. Four patients participated five sessions in Snoezelen room of 'F' dementia care facility in Sweden. Assessment instrument was basically used Cohen-Mansfield Agitation Inventory-Short Form to be rated by caregivers on a 5-point frequency scale. Pre-trial and post-trial assessments were carried out during $27^{th}$ Aug.-$27^{th}$ Sept. 2007. Result shows that Snoezelen room has some short-term positive effect on agitated behavior even though there was a considerable variation individuals responded. This result adds to the increasing evidence that Snoezelen could be a therapeutic environment for the elderly with dementia. Further research study, with larger number of participation, and a control group is required to establish more scientific evidence of Snoezelen effects on health outcome.

  • With today's new media environment throughout Ubiquitous information innovation, live and dynamic fluid space is being created by integrating organic integration between electronic space and physical space and transplanting intelligence to materials. In other words, perception occurs in fluid space itself in a new media environment so has complicatedly organic relationship with environment and humans. In addition, emotion, time and movement have actively attempted to enter the space so designs appealing to humans' emotions are made through stimulation of synaesthetic sensory organs. This can be understood in the same context that media is eventually expansion of human body. Fluid space has characteristics of a live organism with factors such as sensor, perception and behavior so it needs to interpret perceptual system relationally and synthetically through an organic study method. This study looks into characteristics of organic perceptual system in terms of the meaning that fluid space with movements have as the sensory-perceptive subject and accordingly makes the world more sufficient as the third space, prepares a possibility to get out of limited five senses, and will develop fluid space as the organic environment making stimulation by itself.

  • Taste is one of the five senses that detect vital information about what we are eating. Comprehending taste is crucial for enhancing the flavor of foodstuffs and high-protein foods like meat. Umami has global recognition as the fifth elementary taste, alongside sweetness, sourness, saltiness, and bitterness. Umami compounds are known to enhance the sensation of recognized flavors such as salty, sweet, bitter, and others. This could end up in greater food consumption by consumption by consumers. With the rising global population, meat consumption is rising and is projected to double by 2025. It is crucial to comprehend the umami mechanism of meat and meat products, identify novel compounds, and employ laboratory methodologies to gather varied information. This knowledge will aid in the development of new consumer products. Although very limited information is available on umami taste and compounds in meat through research data. This article discusses recent advancements in umami compounds in other foodstuff as well as meat to aid in designing future research and meat product development. Moreover, another objective of this review is to learn present techniques in foodstuffs to enhance umami taste and utilize that knowledge in meat products.

A Systematic Review of Forest Therapy Programs for Elementary School Students (초등학생 대상의 산림치유 프로그램에 대한 체계적 문헌고찰)

  • Purpose: There are many forest and outdoor programs being offered but systematic reviews of effects are lacking. This study was done to identify content, format, and strategies of forest therapy programs for elementary school students. Methods: Literature search using keywords in English and Korean was performed using 6 electronic databases in December 2016. Search participants were elementary school students and interventions conducted in the forest. Seventeen forest therapy studies were selected for evaluation. Risk of Bias Assessment tool for non-randomized study was used for quality assessment. Results: All studies were quasi-experimental designs. Forest therapy programs included various activities in forests such as experience of five senses, meditation in the forest, walking in the forest, ecological play, observation of animals and insects. All studies used psychosocial health variables and forest healing programs had positive effects on sociality, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, stress, aggression, anger, and school adjustment. Limitations of these studies were vague reporting of the study, lack of ethical review and rigorous research designs. Conclusion: Forest therapy for elementary school child can be an effective way to improve psychosocial health. Future studies with rigorous study designs are needed to assess long-term effects of forest therapy on physical and psychosocial health.

  • This study's leading tourist destination in Busan Haeundae, Gwangalli, APEC Naru Park, including seven regional surveys conducted by selecting a feel for the waterfront area was investigated.   • The purpose of this study was to investigate satisfaction of student, adult and forest interpreters about facilities and program of children's garden, which was constructed as edutainment space within Korea National Arboretum on May 2011. The results are as follows. First, an information about construction of children's garden should be provided actively, because 70.8% student and 68.6% adult of respondent did not know existence of children's garden. Second, it has been analysed that a fundamental conception of GREEN-I be reflected in construction children's garden, especially, reflecting conception of Enjoy and Edutainment was comparatively high. Third, It was found that ecological experiencing activities program of children's garden was positively to develop environmental literacy for student. Fourth, It was found that satisfaction of uncommon planting area was very low among planting area and satisfaction of forest interpreters was very low about place of ecological experience learning using five senses. Finally, for effective operation of children's garden, children's garden should be provided planting for environmental education connected with the school curriculum and ecological experiencing activities program to enjoy time with the family. Therefore, these results will be applied to improve children's garden and could be applied to construct other children's garden in botanical gardens.

Tactile Value Expressed in the Design of Madeleine Vionnet (마들렌 비요네 디자인에 나타난 촉각적 가치)

  • As designs that simulate man's five wits are important, all five senses used are complex. Tactil value by Bernard Berenson means that the object in fine art makes the spectator feel like his or her finger is touching something, although the spectator is distant from the art piece. Especially as costumes have a relationship with the flexible skin and moving body, tactile modality and tactile value is more important. In order to analyze how Madeleine Vionnet realized a new femininity through the application of the principal of tactile value to dress design and in order to define tactile value in the field of fashion, this study examines the theory of tactile value, sculpture, painting, contemporary art, and product design as well as the design of Madeleine Vionnet from 1925 to 1937 because she was in the fashion business enlarging dress shops in New york during this period. The shape of Madeleine Vionnet's dresses made the concealed body alive through organic curves pressed against the body from cuts and dissections based on the anatomy of a supple body with curves and movement. In the garments, soft physical characteristics or the glossy touch of silk or pile textile imitated smooth skin while colors similar to a woman's eye, hair, and skin color continue the impression of the dress extending to the body through these design elements, Madeleine Vionnet's dresses reinforce the will to touch female body hidden under the dress by tactile values, not by the body's modification or visual exposure.

  • 유비쿼터스 시대의 도래에 따른 서비스의 고급화는 다양한 형태의 사용자 단말기의 개발을 유도 하였으며, 이러한 사용자 단말기의 변화는 다양한 형태의 인간친화형 사용자 인터페이스의 개발로 이어지게 되었다. 이러한 다양한 형태의 인간친화형 사용자 인터페이스 중, 인간의 뇌를 활용한 사용자 인터페이스, 즉 BCI에 관한 연구가 산발적으로 다양하게 진행되고 있다. 현재 진행되어지고 있는 다양한 형태의 BCI관련 연구들은, 연구 초기 수준을 극복하지 못하는 실정이며, 이러한 연구 개발의 지체 이유로는 DB구축부터 시작한 체계적인 연구가 이루어지고 있지 않는 점을 들 수 있다. 또한, 뇌파 신호의 수집 시 효율적인 피험자 지침 관련 연구가 없는 실정이며 기 구현되어진 대부분의 시스템이 로컬시스템 형태로 구성되어져 DB 구축 시 한정적인 피험자 수, 대용량의 뇌파 DB수집 시 한계, 뇌파 DB의 신뢰성이 저하되는 문제점을 야기한다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점을 극복하기 위하여 VoiceXML을 활용한 온라인 기반의 DB구축 시스템 구현을 제안 하며 신뢰성 및 객관성을 확보 하고자 한다.
