The purpose of this study is examine the color planning in the different type of classroom to establish interior color planning. This study also uses environmental planning and practical use of basic data for color planning to future school facilities. The summary of this study is as followed. The primary school and middle school classrooms as well as the open space classrooms floor color recommended of brown and the primary school wall color is light yellow, middle school wall color is light yellow and brown. The high school classroom color is recommended brown and wall color to light yellow and green system. The recommended floor color of primary school which includes in computer room and language study room, library of the multi-purpose of media room recommended are gray, brown and pink. The recommended wall color in primary school is light gray. The middle school floor color propose gray and light brown and wall recommended color is light brown, gray, ivory with the high school the computer room, language study room and library. The floor color is recommended gray, green and the wall propose blue. Moreover, recognize that importance of color effectiveness in school interior facilities considering with Interior covering material in class room.

The purpose of this study is in providing a systematic method for school building color scheme. This study analyzed the cases of color uses in domestic and foreign school buildings. The results from this study tells that the colors in school buildings should take into account the environmental, psychological and functional elements at the same time to effectively function as environmental color, effect color and induction color.

The objectives of this study were to classify the T-shirts color preferences and to examine how T-shirts color preferences and appearances satisfaction vary according to sex school and extroversion. Questionnaire was comprised of four sections: 8 Likert type items of T-shirts color preference: 10 Likert type items of appearance satisfaction: 10 Likert type items of extroversion : and 2 demographic variables. Samples were 335 high school and college students in Kwangju Korea. The data were analyxed using factor analysis and three-way ANOVA. The results of the study were the followings 1. Three segments of T-shirts color preferences derived from factor analysis :F.1 'warm' F. 2 'dark' F.3 'commonplace' 2. Women in high extroversion group liked red color better than men and low extroversion group 3. There were not significant differences in blue and orange color preference according to sex school and extroversion. 4. Therer was interaction effect between sex and school on dark blue color preference. Women liked dark blue color better than did men. 5. Men liked green color better than did women. 6. Women and college students liked pink color better than did men and high school students. 7. College students liked yellow color better than high school students. 8. Men and middle level extroversion group liked purple color better than did women and high and low extroversion group. 9. Men and high level extroversion group had more appearance satisaction than women and low extroversion.

The skin color of a human being is the important memory color influencing image quality for color display. Therefore, in this paper, the preferred skin color axis is defined on HSV color space by analyzing some previous research, and the preferred skin color reproduction algorithm is performed by rotating the center axis of skin distribution of an input image to the preferred skin color axis.

Color-normal observers (CNOs) and color-deficient observers (CDOs) have different preferences and emotions for color images. A color-image quality-enhancement algorithm for a CDO is developed to easily adjust images according to each observer's preference or image quality factors. The color-perception differences between CDO and CNO are analyzed and modeled in terms of the YCbCr chroma ratio and hue difference; then the color-shift method is designed to control the degree of color difference.

This research designed usable standard color chart which was planned by hue and tone color system. This research studied 5 types standard color chart by designed tone map and preceding research. "Basic Color Chart 14 Colors" was planned for kindergarteners. "Primary Color Chart 63 Colors" was planned for schoolboys. "Middle Grade Color Chart 114 Colors" was planned for junior high school students. "High Grade Color Chart 152 Colors" was planned for senior high school students. "Hue and Tone 205 Colors" was planned for university students and general publics. These 5 types standard color chart were produced the trial color coordinate card and attached the Munsell notation which could reappear the spare color paper when needed. These 5 types standard color chart would be offered the data base for efficient color coordinate education as school age.

This paper presents a mobile color-compensating application using a RGB color compensation algorithm. The proposed application enables color vision deficiencies to differentiate images which cannot be distinguished by them. The suggested mobile application has two functions: converting images taken by camera and converting contents in the device screen. The proposed application is computationally inexpensive, since it does not require color space transformation. Simulation results show that the proposed application enables color vision deficiencies to receive information expressed by colors such as subway line maps.

We report on a new method of fabricating color filters based on selective wetting of color inks. The reversible formation of a hydrophobic layer provides sequential generation and protection of successive color filter patterns through a simple coating process. The transmittance and geometrical properties of the fabricated color filter were described.

It is often desirable that manufacturers and users can convert the reference white of display into the preferred color temperature by controlling the color temperature that is one of representative color characteristics of a light source. Accordingly, this paper proposes an efficient method of color compensation for displaying the uncalibrated video signal in PDP-TV and is also shown to be successfully coupled with flexible color temperature conversion based on the signal processing technique.

Presented herein is a novel stereoscopic three-dimensional (3D) display system with active color filter glasses. This system provides full-color 3D images by applying the time-multiplexing technique on the original anaglyph method. By switching between the opposite anaglyph statuses, a full-color anaglyph is presented. A liquid crystal panel from a 3D monitor serves as an active color filter operating at 120 Hz. A display panel and a color filter are connected to one graphic card as a dual-link system, for synchronization. To test the quality of this system, a left/right-eye image separation test and an experiment with stereoscopic images were carried out. Although there was some crosstalk and blur, the system, as expected, provided full-color 3D display. This system overcomes a monochromatic 3D image, which is the major weakness of the original anaglyph system.
