  • 최근 선원재해 감소를 위한 국내선사들의 많은 노력에도 불구하고 그 감소율은 둔감하고 있는 실정이며, 이에 관한 일과성 유사연구 사례는 있으나 선원정책의 인적요소를 중심으로하는 본격적인 연구는 부족한 실정이다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 현재 승선중이거나 승선경험이 있는 선원을 중심으로 설문조사를 실시하여 선원재해에 관한 의식현황을 분석하여 해상안전 및 선원재해에 관한 대비책을 제시하고자 한다.

로지스틱회귀분석 모델을 활용한 화학사고 사상사고 예측모형 개발 연구 (A Study on Accident Prediction Models for Chemical Accidents Using the Logistic Regression Analysis Model)

  • 본 연구를 통해 화학사고 사상사고 예측모형을 개발하였다. 모형은 로지스틱회귀분석 모델을 활용하여 사상사고에 영향을 주는 변수를 도출하여 적용하였고, 통계적 검증방법과 오즈비를 활용하여 모형의 신뢰성 및 정확성을 검증하였다. 모형에 활용한 사고 자료는 과거 발생했던 화학사고 통계를 분석하여 활용하였으며, 사고의 유형, 원인, 발생 장소, 사상자 현황 및 사상자를 발생시킨 화학사고 등의 자료 분석을 통해 통계적으로 유의하게 나타난 독립변수(p < 0.05)를 적용하였다. 본 연구에서 개발한 모형은 사업장에서 화학사고로 인해 발생하는 사상사고의 예방 및 안전시스템 구축을 위한 연구로서 의의가 있다고 할 수 있다. 모형에 의한 분석결과 사상사고 발생에 가장 크게 영향을 미치는 변수는 폭발에 의한 화학사고인 것으로 조사되었다. 따라서 사업장에서 발생하는 폭발 유형의 화학사고를 예방하기 위한 대책마련이 시급하다고 판단된다.

고령운전자를 고려한 도시부 교차로 기하구조 개선방안에 관한 연구 (Higher Accident Rates for Older Drivers at Specific Urban Intersections Study on the Improvement of the Road Geometry)

  • PURPOSES : With the increasing number of older drivers in an aging society, there is a growing need for research and planning on traffic safety for the older drivers using an improved road geometry design. This study also proposed a modified urban road interchange design, which aims to keep the older drivers away from accident-prone and high-traffic areas of the city. METHODS : In this study, we examined accident data records of older drivers to identify accident-prone zones and intersections; we studied the road geometry at these zones and analyzed if it was an underlying cause for higher number of accidents. Based on the research and subsequent analysis, we suggested plans for improvement of road geometry design at these intersections. RESULTS :By studying historic data and analyzing factors that affect the likelihood of accidents of vehicles driven by older drivers and after studying suitable traffic accident prediction models, we identified the major variables that need to be modified at accident-prone intersections, such as the width of a left turn lane at an intersection and the radius of the right turn lane at a street corner. The results have a significance probability of less than 0.001 and a 95% confidence level. To improve safety at the identified intersection, this study suggests the installation of a left-turn-lane-shaped Positive Offset and a right-turn-lane-shaped Slip Lane concept and an adjustment of intervals between intersections.

Comparative Study of PSO-ANN in Estimating Traffic Accident Severity

  • Due to Traffic accidents people faces health and economical casualties around the world. As the population increases vehicles on road increase which leads to congestion in cities. Congestion can lead to increasing accident risks due to the expansion in transportation systems. Modern cities are adopting various technologies to minimize traffic accidents by predicting mathematically. Traffic accidents cause economical casualties and potential death. Therefore, to ensure people's safety, the concept of the smart city makes sense. In a smart city, traffic accident factors like road condition, light condition, weather condition etcetera are important to consider to predict traffic accident severity. Several machine learning models can significantly be employed to determine and predict traffic accident severity. This research paper illustrated the performance of a hybridized neural network and compared it with other machine learning models in order to measure the accuracy of predicting traffic accident severity. Dataset of city Leeds, UK is being used to train and test the model. Then the results are being compared with each other. Particle Swarm optimization with artificial neural network (PSO-ANN) gave promising results compared to other machine learning models like Random Forest, Naïve Bayes, Nearest Centroid, K Nearest Neighbor Classification. PSO- ANN model can be adopted in the transportation system to counter traffic accident issues. The nearest centroid model gave the lowest accuracy score whereas PSO-ANN gave the highest accuracy score. All the test results and findings obtained in our study can provide valuable information on reducing traffic accidents.

저전압에서의 감전보호에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Protection of Electric Shock, in Low Voltage)

  • Recently, due to the increase of 220V distribution lines and equipments preventive measures to cope with several kinds of electric accidents is revealed as an urgent problem. This study investigates the following matters; the cause and present condition of e1ectric shock accident, the influence of electric shock on human body, the safety limit of electric shock, the method of distribution voltage, the insulation of electrical load apparatus, the teachnics of electric shock prevention and foreign materials concerned with this subject etc. This paper present the fundamental cause of electric shock and syntbetic preventive counter measure of electric shock, too.

디지털 운행기록에 근거한 시내버스 운전자의 사고발생 예측모형 개발 (Development for City Bus Dirver's Accident Occurrence Prediction Model Based on Digital Tachometer Records)

  • 본 연구는 시내버스 운전자의 실제 운행기록 정보를 토대로 사고발생 가능성을 내포한 운전자를 판단할 수 있는 모형개발을 목적으로 하였다. 본 연구를 위하여 사고발생 운전자 및 사고 미발생 운전자의 실제 운행기록 정보에서 교통사고와 관련한 유의변수를 도출하는 한편, 판별분석(Discriminant Analysis) 및 로지스틱회귀분석(Logistic Regression Analysis)을 적용하여 개발된 분류모형에 대한 모형간 정확도를 비교하였다. 또한, 개발된 모형을 다른 운전자들의 운행기록자료에 적용하여 모형의 정확도를 검증하였다. 사고발생 가능성을 내포한 운전자 분류모형을 개발한 결과 감속도($X_{deceleration}$) 및 우측방향 가속도($Y_{right}$)가 동시에 작용할 때 이 변수가 사고발생 운전자 분류의 최적 요인변수로 도출되었으며, 판별분석에 의한 예측모형은 최대 62.8%, 로지스틱회귀분석에 의한 예측모형은 최대 76.7%의 비율로 사고 발생 운전자 분류가 가능한 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 모형 예측력에 대한 검증결과 84.1%의 적중률을 보이는 것으로 나타났다.

실험실 화학사고 특성 분석에 관한 연구 (Study fo the Characteristics Analysis of Laboratory Chemical Accidents)

  • 본 연구는 실험실 화학사고를 대상으로 각 연도별 사고현황, 사고유형, 사고원인 등의 화학물질사고 특성을 분석하였다. 그 결과 실험실에서 발생한 화학사고는 총 30건이었으며, 이중 25건이 학교 실험실에서 발생하였다. 실험실화학사고의 사고유형 중 유출 및 누출에 의한 사고가 가장 많이 발생했으며, 사고원인에 대해서는 작업자부주의로 인한 사고가 가장 많았던 것으로 나타났다. 실험실 사고예방과 연구활동 종사자의 보호를 위해서는 현장점검 강화, 유해화학물질 관리 감독 강화, 안전교육 강화 등 다각적인 정책적 노력이 필요할 것으로 사료된다.

회전 카메라를 이용한 블랙박스 시스템 구현 (Implementation of a Dashcam System using a Rotating Camera)

  • In this paper, we implement a Dashcam system capable of shooting 360 degrees using a Raspberry Pi, shock sensors, distance sensors, and rotating camera with a servo motor. If there is an object approaching the vehicle by the distance sensor, the camera rotates to take a video. In the event of an external shock, videos and images are stored in the server to analyze the cause of the vehicle's accident and prevent the user from forging or tampering with videos or images. We also implement functions that transmit the message with the location and the intensity of the impact when the accident occurs and send the vehicle information to an insurance authority with by linking the system with a smart device. It is advantage that the authority analyzes the transmitted message and provides the accident handling information giving the user's safety and convenience.

스키 리프트 기계안전사고 원인분석에 관한 연구 (A Study on Cause Analysis of the Crash for the Ski Lift)

  • A ski lifter for winter sports is one of the necessary and familiar facilities. But recently safety concern about ski lifter has been built. The ski lifter crash in Pocheon happened recently showed an example of safety concern and frigidity for safety awareness. In this report, the cause of the ski lifter crash in Pocheon was reviewed, and some suggestions were made to prevent a similar accident base on this review.

초등학교 안전사고가 초등교사의 교육활동에 미치는 영향 (The Impact of Safety Accident on Teacher's Educational Activities in Elementary School)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of school safety accident on teacher's normal educational activities and to seek some desirable ways to cope with it. The subjects in this study were 351 class teachers randomly selected from Seoul and Kyonggi Province and surveyed from April through July, 2000. The conclusions were as follows; 1. Actual Condition of School Safety Accident 1) Approximately many teachers investigated had had an experience to suffer safety accident. Safety accident occurred most during break or class, but there was a significant difference according to service area. 2) Safety accident took place most in playground, and the most common cause was student's own carelessness, and the most widely occurred accident type was an injury. But there was no significant difference caused by the general characteristics of the teachers. 2. Influence of Safety Accident On Teacher's Educational Activities. 1) The largest reason they offered safety education was to ensure student safety. The greatest number of them had an opinion they would consider changing or giving up a planned normal educational activity if they recognized any possibilities of safety accident. There was a significant difference in this point according to gender and career. 2) They worried about possible safety accident most during field study, but there was a significant difference according to gender or presence or absence of safety accident experience. 3) The general characteristics of teacher produced a significant difference to an experience of avoiding educational activity due to psychological withdrawal, but safety accident experience didn't make any difference. 3. Minimization of Teacher Damage or Loss from Safety Accident. 1) The dominant opinion about teacher's small mistake for any occurrence of safety accident was that the responsibility should be escaped to maintain teacher's authority. For severe mistake, however, there were two different opinions at the same percentage: one was being exempted and the other was taking civil liability. 2) Establishing teacher insurance was preferred as a way to minimize teacher's economic loss from safety accident, but there was a significant difference according to gender. 3) The dominant opinion about the payment of insurance premium for safety accident was that it should be paid from school operating expenses.
