창업보육센터 성공전략 분석 (Success Strategy Analysis of Business Incubator)

  • 본 연구에서는 창업보육센터의 성공요인에 근거하여 창업보육센터의 효율적 운영을 위한 평가요인을 크게 목표$.$운영전략, 인적$.$물적 자원, 보육지원서비스, 연계프로그램으로, 그리고 이들 요인들을 성공적으로 지원하기 위한 전략은 산$.$$.$연 연계체제 구축, 창업보육센터의 특성화 및 전문화, 창업보육센터의 재정자립 기반 구축, 전문 운영인력 확보 등으로 분류하였다. 그리고 창업보육센터를 효율적으로 운영하기 위해서는 어떤 성공전략을 우선적으로 고려하여 일관성 있게 추진해야 하는지를 본 연구에서 제안한 AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) 기법을 적용한 평가모델을 활용하여 입주기업, 졸업기업, 창업보육센터 소장의 측면에서 분석하였으며, 최종적으로는 창업보육센터의 성공전략을 제시하였다.

국가 연구개발을 위한 웹기반의 과제관리 시스템 (A WEB-BASED PROJECT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR GOVERNMENT R&D PROGRAMS)

  • Government R&D Project Management in Korea has had considerable difficulties because of the lack of project monitoring systems and insufficient communication. The National Program for Tera-level Nanodevices (TND Program) is a ten-year R&D program for commercialization in the area of nano technology. Collaboration and communication among the various participants such as business companies, universities, and government R&D institutes are key success factors in this R&D program. TND Program office has developed a Web-based project management system. This system consists of mostly four sub-management functions: (1) Milestones management of all R&D projects; (2) DR (Design Review) management as the mechanism for checking the performance against milestones; (3) Project activity management using the WBS (Work Breakdown Structure); (4) Budget management. Additionally, it also has many R&D supporting functions such as technology information bulletin board, community management, and visual summary of project progress and performance. This system is effective for monitoring research project as well as measuring project performance of the overall research program. This Web-based system has become the useful tool of R&D moving target mechanism and effective communication and collaboration tool. System features and adoption process of the system are also suggested.

과학기술 정책의 과학화 서비스 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on Developing Science Service of Science and Technology Policy)

  • The development of science and technology oriented knowledge society accelerates the convergence between scientific theory and industrial technology and increases the complexity problem of social and economic sectors. These cause the difficulty of securing the reliability and objectivity of science and technology policy. These also are barriers of balanced evaluation between rational science and technology policy making, management, and policy coordination. In this regard, Advanced countries in science and technology develops policy support system and promotes the program of evidence-based SciSIP(Science of Science and Innovation policy) together. This paper introduces a new approach developing science service of science and technology policy utilizing business intelligence technology in Korea. Also, it proposes the integration method of policy knowledge base and component-based service supporting S&T policy decision-making process and introduces services case studies.

When VMI with Consignment Brings Benefit to Supply Chain Members?

  • Purpose: This study intends to examine how VMI with consignment performs over time and find out its on-going impacts on the individual supply chain member's achievement. Research design, data, and methodology: This study formulates the mathematical model that represents two-stage supply chain system. By analyzing the numerical examples, this study compares VMI with consignment with the traditional system. Results: VMI with consignment eventually makes higher supply chain profit than the traditional system, even though it's early performance is poor. The influence of VMI with consignment on the performance of the supply chain member is distinct depending on the individual member and time. The consignment may not be helpful to increase the system profit, but it reduces the manufacturer's burden of costs. Conclusions: VMI with consignment improves the supply chain performance after all, and it still takes times until its benefit becomes fully realized. To be a successful collaboration program, VMI with consignment requires a carefully designed incentive scheme that provides the timely compensation to the individual supply chain members. This study also finds out that the consignment contract of this collaboration program plays a role of financially supporting the manufacturer at the early stage of its implementation.

The Effect of Dyadic Social Intrapreneurship and Organizational Transformation on Competitive Advantage

  • The study aims to investigate new theoretical approaches in an effort to resolve conceptual contradictions regarding the impact of organizational culture on developing culture for change, first by providing socio-structural frameworks supporting intrapreneurship, and second through encouraging professional culture behavior with management practices or organizational members acting as agents of change forming a deeper culture of values and behavior. The design of this research is quantitative. This study employs survey data of managers and section heads, which met the sampling requirements. Data analysis in this research used structural equation modeling (SEM) with the help of the AMOS program. The results show that all hypotheses are supported. The findings of this study suggest that the organizational culture transformation and dyadic social intrapreneurship based on professional culture (DSIBPC) have significant positive influence as antecedents of competitive advantage. This research also shows that DSIBPC is able to act as an important mediator that fills a gap in the relationship between organizational culture transformation toward competitive advantage, as well as being an alternative strategy for organizations in an effort to increase their competitive advantage. Referring to the results of this research, organizations need to focus and pay attention to the DSIBPC.

가맹본부의 지원제도가 본부에 대한 태도 및 가맹점의 재무성과에 미치는 영향 : 지역상권 경쟁강도의 조절효과를 중심으로 (Influence of Franchisors' Supporting Strategy on Franchisee Attitude and Performance: Moderating Effect of Competitive Intensity)

  • Purpose - This article aims to present and test a model regarding franchisors' supporting activities that may positively influence franchisees' attitude toward the franchising headquarter and their own business performance. Moreover, the authors examine the moderating effect of competitive intensity between franchisee attitude and business performance. Most previous research focused on behavioral performance measurements such as satisfaction, trust, and commitment. There are few empirical studies that focus on financial performance data because it is difficult to determine a relational mechanism between behavioral and financial performance. Moreover, financial data is confidential and difficult to collect in many cases. However, this study measures financial performance (e.g., sales revenue per square meter) differently than most previous research, which is mostly focused on the behavioral performance measurements. Research design, data, and methodology - To test our hypotheses, we selected 137 franchisee managers who are running chains of one of the foremost bakery franchise brands in South Korea. This study carefully investigated the reliability, content validity, convergent validity, and discriminant validity of the proposed instrument by analyzing the data obtained from the samples. The data was analyzed using the AMOS structural equation modeling program. Results - The results indicated that: non-financial support activities (e.g., information exchange and communication) had a positive impact on the franchisee attitude toward the franchising headquarter. The franchisee attitude in turn had a positive effect on the headquarters' business performance. Furthermore, competitive intensity could enhance the relationship between franchisee attitude toward franchising headquarter and business performance in a local franchise market. However, financial support activities (e.g., rewards and promotional support) and training had no relationship with either franchisee attitude or business performance. Conclusions - This study provides some practical implications to franchisors in terms of franchise operation and store opening strategies. With respect to the franchise operation strategy, franchisors need to focus on non-financial rather than financial support. Most franchisees consider the necessity of financial support activities and not their sufficiency because these activities are specified in their franchise contract. In addition, it is important for franchisees to maintain a positive attitude for the franchise headquarters. The franchisees with a positive attitude for the franchisor can show a high degree of solidarity for various support activities, and it consequently determines franchisees' sales performance. In terms of franchise store opening strategy, this study suggests an additional criterion that can be considered in determining the location of direct and non-direct management stores (e.g., franchisees' stores). In this research, franchise stores located within high level of competitive intensity are shown to have a high relationship between franchisee attitudes of franchisor support activities and business performance compared to the franchisees located within low competitive intensity level. This result shows that opening non-direct franchise stores is more effective than direct stores in higher competitive market situations. Research contribution, implications, and further research directions are discussed at the end of the paper.

중소기업의 정보화를 위한 CALS 도입 정책 방안 (CALS Implementation Policy for Information-based Management of Small and Medium Companies)

  • This study aims to suggest CALS implementation strategies and policies for information-based management of small and medium companies in Korea. At the turning point from traditional document-based management to recent digital-based one, it is well known that implementation of CALS concept is crucial for advancing business management of small and medium enterprises In order to attack the aim, this paper critically analyzes the empirical difficulties and obstacles of the current information-based management of small and medium companies in Korea. On the basis of the above analysis, this paper suggests the strategic plans and policies of CALS implementation for small and medium enterprises in Korea as follows. First, government should provide the supporting policies and proper system so that the large enterprise can be linked with small and medium companies for sharing necessary information. Second, similar enterprises should be integrated on the basis of information and automation evaluation. Third, implementation strategies and plans should be advanced on the basis of the informationalized phases with respect to the technology level of small and medium enterprises. For more efficient CALS implementation, this paper also proposes the following subsidiary policies. First, it is substantially important to publicize the nation-wide spreading of CALS mind. Second, it is strongly recommended to educate and train CALS specialist on a consistant basis. Third, government should support the enterprises by providing sufficient fund for CALS implementation. Fourth, the ideal CALS implementation models for small and medium enterprises should be developed. Fifth, the consulting and training program for CALS implementation should be established through ECRC (Electronic Commerce Resource Center). The Relationship between Network Marketing Organization and the Related Industry Sustainability in Indonesia

  • Network marketing in Indonesia, especially in a time of crisis, is massively rising and has become a popular opportunity among other industries. Network marketing organizations, consists of partnership and trust, a community of connections and contact between individuals. This article has tried to examine the potential strategy to mitigate low trust in network marketing organizations specifically in the Indonesia market, where no studies on the subject has been done before. In doing this research assignment employed a secondary research methodology by reviewing previous academic literatures, by exploration and evaluation. For the purpose, 6 main articles and 25 relevant supporting articles were selected, there is an interesting and prominent research in an effort to repair trust in the perspective of the organization's efforts to build trust and control trust framework in strategy trust repair. The result of this analysis showed that the application of trust-building activities studies reveals how trust-building behavior is related to controls and how the efforts towards fostering subordinate cooperation are motivated by different types of controls and display of trustworthiness. It can be concluded that by implementing this trust repair model consistently and with a full commitment, it can gradually restore people's trust in the network marketing industry, sustain industry existence and exalted purpose of this industry can be achieved.

농업후계인력 육성을 위한 농촌청소년교육 및 지원방향 (The Directions of Supporting Policy and Education Strategy for Young Agricultural Workforce)

  • The supporting system for agricultural workforce and education strategy has been changing both domestically and worldwide range term. To change the fundamental directions, much more needs to be learned about the process of structural adjustment regarding the dynamics of the agricultural and rural sectors. A rural development doctrine must pay more attention to the ongoing problems of population imbalance and the dissolution of the countryside. The focus should be young people prefer to live in cities because there are more opportunities, services, and great personal fulfillment. This paper was described the effective fostering directions of young agricultural workforce and educational program to prepare future and young farmer for teaching careers in agriculture, food, farm management, and marketing. To achieve these goals, the specific approaches are 1) establish the strong partnership between related organizations of agricultural business, 2) strengthen the management and marketing education of products, 3) create the various in-farming or out-fanning incomes including green tourism, 4) enhance the aggressive marketing strategies by Internet, Telephone, and TV etc, 5) make the association among the same items for the effective research and risk management.

수출역량강화사업이 수출성과에 미치는 효과연구: 경기지역 창업 중소기업을 중심으로 (A study on the Effect of Export Support Policy to Export Performance: Focusing on Small-Medium Start-up Enterprises in Gyeonggi Area)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 중소기업청의 수출지원사업 중 수출역량강화사업(이하 '사업')이 중소기업, 특히, 업력 7년 미만의 창업 중소기업(중소기업창업지원법 제2조 제2호에 의함)의 수출증대에 미치는 효과를 분석하는데 있다. 이 목적을 달성하기 위하여 전국 12개 지방 중소기업청에 사업을 신청한 기업중 2014년, 2015년에 경기지방 중소기업청을 통하여 사업에 참여한 1,690개 기업의 수출성과에 대한 정량적 분석을 하고자 한다. 본 연구에서는 기존연구들을 바탕으로 기업의 수출성과와 관련된 선행연구들을 조사하여 주요 변수를 선정하였다. 또한 2000년대 이후 수출 입 관련 통계상 매년도 1위를 차지하고 있고, 산업별 고용인원이 1위인 경기지역의 사업 참여업체를 대상으로 표본을 수집하였다. 실증분석결과, 첫째로 사업은 중소기업의 수출성과에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 사업은 업력 7년 미만의 창업 중소기업의 수출성과에 긍정적인 효과를 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로, 사업은 일반 중소기업보다 업력 7년 미만의 창업 중소기업에 더욱 긍정적인 효과를 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 향후 본 연구는 수출입 규모가 경기지역 다음으로 큰 울산지역과 서울지역에서 동일한 기간에 사업에 참여하였던 기업들의 수출성과를 추가하여 유의한 결과가 도출되는지에 대한 후행 연구를 하고자 한다.
