  • The research which sees observed the region symbol and tourism image(theme) of ChungCheongbuk-Do oneself and saw and problem point with the escape box, foundation of hereafter countermeasure under preparing boil. The region symbol and tourism theme of research result ChungCheongbuk-Do undergarment each oneself the image which is consistent public information description below appeared with the difficult thing, this is many being difficult from the side which is sightseeing public information, appeared with the fact that is an element will be able to cause. The hereafter countermeasure first, when becomes the area public information water and connection, from, must produce tourism symbol of the inter linkage will be able to accommodate tourism theme, second, must compose of the slogan which corresponds with tourism theme, three, must enforce establishes tourism information plan which is the possibility of having a connectedness.

  • This study aims to examine the Visitor's selection attributes and types of preference regarding Rural Theme Village, and gather useful information for establishing differentiated marketing strategies suitable for market segments by the Visitor's selection attributes. In addition, it will contribute to securing competitiveness in providing Visitors with better service by extracting differentiating factors of Rural Theme Villages, and exploring the right direction of Rural Tourism. For the empirical analysis, the attributes were extracted based on the preliminary studies, and a survey was conducted among Visitors and users of Rural Theme Village to examine such factors as importance of selection attributes status, motives of using such Rural Theme Villages, demographic characteristics, and general features of the Rural Theme Villages.

  • In 21st century, According to development of Information Technology, It is clear that the importance of tourism information is extended increasingly. For this reason, It should be needed to realize a general system which make it possible to enjoy cyber tourism based on knowledge information system to recover a local potential growth power, catch a jumping chance again, and hold a new competitive power. But to discuss a tourism information system, the matters of hard ware, software and information mediating system should be reviewed generally, this research is likely to provide a cyber tourism information system through internet as a way of cyber tours through multimedia technology and stereoscopic image technique using GIS (Geographic Information System) centering on the networking system of tourism information. Constructing $\ulcorner$cyber touristy city$\lrcorner$ on internet, foster a new industry, to go balanced with a present tourism industry and experience a virtual reality, various theme tours create high profit to shrunken tourism industry.

  • The purpose of this research is to analyze the problems of regional culture and tourism websites and to seek for the ways to improve those websites since the culture and tourism information websites of local government do not provide enough contents and service. This research is based on following 4 indicators, content evaluation, usability evaluation, design evaluation and interactivity evaluation which are used to evaluate tourism homepages of municipality by Korea Tourism Organization. The result of this research came out with the issue that regional cultural tourism websites lack user-oriented contents. Therefore, regional culture and tourism websites need to provide the custom-made information such as setting a free tourist route, complementing reservation system and diversifying the range of search.

  • This study was done to figure out what sort of service quality the visitors of a theme park think much of. The service quality of theme park is the most important factor for customer's satisfaction, and such satisfaction can lead them to have repurchase intention. Most of the customers revisit a theme park on the basis of their own past experience and information through their friends, which means that service quality plays an important role in the theme park. The intention of revisit is strongly influenced by the primary factor of service quality and price. The neat appearances of its clerks, guideboard, buildings, structures, facilities and so on are the most important part in the properties of service quality. By the above mentioned strategy, the customer's devotion and the long-term expectation of profits could be realized. In other words, high qualified service is the basis of the service marketing for the theme park, contributes to enhancing customer's trust, and promotes communications about the theme park with one another in a friendly way. Besides, it can increase the number of visitors and cause the customers to perceive highly the value of the theme park.

Present State of Experiencing Villages for Green Tourism in Rural Area (그린투어리즘을 위한 농산어촌 체험마을 현황 분석 - 농촌관광 인터넷 포털사이트 분석을 중심으로 -)

  • Recently, Environmentally friendliness and sustainability become the main concern of rural tourism. Green-tourism is the emerging and best alternative tourism development. This paper deals with the present state of experiencing villages for green-tourism in rural areas. Several internet portal sites for rural tourism were reviewed and analyzed. Totally, 863 village are designated for experiencing villages by several portal sites. There are 281 information oriented villages, 208 farm-stay villages, 122 green experiencing villages, 93 mountain villages, 93 fishing villages. Some villages were designated duplicately for each projects. In 'Green-tour' site, the distribution of experiencing villages by region were, 49 for Gangwon, 43 for Gyungbuk, 41 for Jeonnam, respectively. The types of experiencing villages were, green experiencing village, traditional theme village, mountain village, fishing village, information-oriented village, etc. Themes of experiencing activities were 6 types, experiencing agricultural life, fishing life, traditional foods, traditional culture, ecological nature, and health/leisure sports. The kinds of experiencing activities were abundant by agricultural life, traditional culture. Otherwise, fishing life experiencing activities were dull. Also, development of ecological nature experiencing programs are suggested.

VR Theme Park Activation Issues (VR 테마파크 활성화 이슈)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the problem of installing VR theme park in Korea and to find a solution for it. VR is expected to play a leading role in the fourth industrial revolution as a new industry, but it is a reality that it is hard to feel its value in actual field. This is a reality that can not move one step further because it is trapped in the existing legal network rather than the essence of VR because it sees VR from the existing law frame. Because VR is regarded as an amusement device in the amusement facility and is regarded as a game, the former is applied to the Tourism Promotion Law and the latter is applied to the game industry law. When one content and hardware are applied to both laws at the same time and other regulations are applied to it, it is practically impossible to operate VR properly. In order to solve this problem, it is necessary to revise each law little by little in each law and amend the law that can apply VR itself. This study is expected to contribute to the revitalization of VR industry by presenting the ultimate problems and solutions in creating VR theme parks in Korea.

  • Green tourism is a stay-flow activity between people in urban and rural area, using a natural view, tradition, and life in agricultural area. And green tourism provides rest, recreation, and new experience fur people living in urban area as well as opportunities to increase income for people in rural area. In recently, amenity is rapidly rising as a main factor fur a regional competitiveness. Boseong county shows a typical agriculture industrial structure with a weak independent base, but has a beautiful tea fields in full seasons. Boseong county is making an effort to activate the regional economy, but the result fall short of one's expectation. Several methods to activate the green tourism of Boseong county are as follows: i) introduction of specialized theme relating Boseong green tea; ii) provision of information regarding tourist resort and development of experience-program related to green tea business; iii) establishment of a sales network of products through accommodations in private houses; iv) establishment of networks among regions to achieve systematic sales of tourist experience, accommodations in private houses, and local speciality simultaneously.

VR Theme Park Regulatory Improvement Plan (VR 테마파크 규제개선방안)

  • This study aims to analyze the cases of VR space to improve the regulations. The space is divided according to the multi-use business act when the VR simulator and the VR game are simultaneously installed in a single space. It is necessary to amend the rules of the Tourism Promotion Act so that it can operate at a certain area of the youth game room subject to the Game Industry Law. Amendments that do not compartmentalize a space partition in the Multi-use Business Act should be carried out simultaneously. This is safer alternative by collective management rather than by the safety applied within a limited space by eliminating the compartment by industry. This is a legal amendment that allows VR simulator and VR game to be operated in the same space even in small sized amusement facilities such as other amusement facilities. This regulatory improvement plan is expected to help the activation of small sized VR theme parks.
