  • Electronic public records are classified simultaneously as production, a preservation period is granted, and after a certain period, they are transferred to an archive and preserved. This study intends to find a way to improve the efficiency in classifying transferred records and maintain consistent standards. To this end, the current record classification work process carried out by the National Archives of Korea was analyzed, and problems were identified. As a way to minimize the manual work of record classification by converging the required improvement, the process of identifying outlier candidates based on a list consisting of classified information of the transferred records was proposed and systemized. Furthermore, the proposed outlier discrimination process was applied to the actual records transferred to the National Archives of Korea. The results were standardized and constructed as a training data format that can be used for machine learning in the future.

  • This major sites of liquidperoxidation-damage within the cell are at biomembrances, especially those of subcellular organells such as mitochondria and microsomes whose membranes contain relatively large amount of polyunsaturated fatty acids. Mitochondria are the power plants of eukaryotic cells. Hence their damage by liquid peroxidation can profoundly affect cellular function.

  • A stereoselective and sensitive high performance liquid chromatography using fluoresecence deterctor was examined for the determination of R(-) and S(+)-salbutamol in human plasma. Solid phase extraction method using silica as sorbent was used to extract salbutamol racemates from the plasma matrices. After fractionation and freeze-drying of the eluates containing salbutamol racemates, they were separated and quantified on a chirla stationary column. The detection limit of each enantiomer was 2 ng/ml in human plasma (S/N=3).

  • Tissue factor (TF), a principal initiator of the veertebrate coagulation cascade, is expressed in organ tissues, cells and blood. TF is konwn to be induced in endothelial cells, monocytes and macrophages by inflammatory stimuli and in many pathologic conditions. By using the modified method for in vido TF activity assay, we found that turpentine oil injection as an inflamatory stimulus also induced the TF activity in lung and brain tissues of rats. And the age-related increase in Tf activity was observed in healthy rat brain tissue.

  • Two alkaloids were isolated from the roots of Glycyrrhiza uralensis Fisch. They were identified as 5, 6, 7, 8-tetrahydro-2, 4-dimethylquinoline (1) and 5, 6, 7, 8-tetrahydro-4-methylquinoline (2) by spectral data. The isolation of alkaloid from glycyrrhiza species is reported for the first time.

  • An anticoagulant, 4-hydroxy-3-[1, 2, 3, 4-tetrahydro-3-[4-(4-trifluoromethylbenzyloxy)phenyll-1 -naphthyl]coumarin (Flocoumafen) was synthesized in 8 steps starting from phenylacetyl shloride and anisole. The key step in the synthesis involves the reaction of 3-(4-methoxyphenyl)-1-teralol with 4-hydroxycoumarin to give 4-hydroxy-3 [1, 2, 3, 4-tetrahydro-3-[4-emthoxyphenyl]-1-naphthyl]coumarin.
