  • This paper proposes a layered protocol to interpret voice commands of the user´s own language to a machine, to control it in real time. The layers consist of speech signal capturing layer, lexical analysis layer, interpretation layer and finally activation layer, where each layer tries to mimic the human counterparts in command following. The contents of a continuous voice command are captured by using Hidden Markov Model based speech recognizer. Then the concepts of Artificial Neural Network are devised to classify the contents of the recognized voice command ...

  • Numerical Simulation was performed to investigate the role of vortex generator. Vortex generator installed on the upper surface of the wing, generates vortex flow, mimic the external flow with boundary layer flow and transfer energy from outside to wall boundary. Vortex generator, thus, retards the flow separation and increases the lift and drag of the wing.

  • We present the numerical implementation, simulation, and validation of the high-velocity impact experiments that have been described in the companion article. In this part, numerical investigations and simulations performed to mimic the tests are presented. The experiments were analyzed by the explicit integration-based software ABAQUS for improved simulations. Targets were modeled with a damaged plasticity model for concrete. Computational results of residual velocity and crater dimensions yielded acceptable results.

  • The ${\beta}$-turn has been implicated as an important conformation for biological recognition of peptides or proteins. Benzodiazepine classes have been known as one of the non peptide ${\beta}$-turn mimic scaffolds. We have developed an efficient approach for the synthesis and derivatization of a scaffold of hydroxytetrahydrodizepinone class in order to screen compound library in various protein targets for new lead generations as well as for structure activity relationships of the scaffold. • Scaffolds play a crucial role in the tissue engineering. Biodegradable polymers with great processing flexibility and biocompatability are predominant scaffolding materials. New developments in biodegradable polymers and their nanocomposites for the tissue engineering are discussed. Recent development in the scaffold designs that mimic nano and micro features of the extracellular matrix (ECM) of bones, cartilages, and vascular vessels are presented as well.

  • In the paper [1], an explicit correspondence between certain cubic irreducible polynomials over $\mathbb{F}_q$ and cubic irreducible polynomials of special type over $\mathbb{F}_{q^2}$ was established. In this paper, we show that we can mimic such a correspondence for quintic polynomials. Our transformations are rather constructive so that it can be used to generate irreducible polynomials in one of the finite fields, by using certain irreducible polynomials given in the other field.

  • In special effects industry there is a high demand to convincingly mimic the appearance and behavior of natural phenomena such as smoke, waterfall, rain, and fire. Particle systems are methods adequate for modeling fuzzy objects of natural phenomena. This paper presents particle system graphics library for generating special effects in video games and virtual reality applications. The library is a set of functions that allow c++ programs to simulate the dynamics of particles for special effects in interactive and non-interactive graphics applications, not for scientific simulation.

  • Gastric tuberculosis is rare even in the endemic areas of tuberculosis, and can mimic neoplasm by causing elevation of the mucosa with or without ulceration. Here, we report a case in which a 54-year-old female patient admitted for resection of early gastric cancer was found to have coexisting histopathologically and bacteriologically confirmed gastric cancer and tuberculosis.
