Some traditional definitions of information are examined to seek for the mutual concept of them. Mun-hun(文獻, biblio) is defined to clarify its modernized concept. Transformation of library science into Biblio-information science, with the application of information science, are maintained. The results mentioned above are as the followings; 1. The mutual concept of information should be defined as the factor which gives the motivations of certain perception and thinking to the brain of which is the contral center of thinking and behavior of man, and as the factor of knowledge and science. 2. Mun-hun(文獻) means originally "books and wise men". It is elucidated that books mean recorded information, and wise men mean oral information. And so, mun-hun means composite information. 3. It is the inevitable need to investigate the "effective means and methods for the effective use of the best information in a great information flow, and for the recreation of the more advanced information. Biblio information science should be the science to meet the need. 4. Biblio information science should be formed with the application of library science and information science. 5. Biblio information science can be defined as a science to investigate the effective means and methods of selection, processing, ac. cumulation and use of information materials, for the recreation of the more advanced information.

This study reviews articles in published in the The Journal of Korean Biblio Society for Library and Information Science (JKBSLIS) over 5 years from 2010 to 2014 for identifying the academic characteristics and the recent research trends of the JKBSLIS. 300 articles of JKBSLIS are analyzed in terms of bibliometric factors, research theme, methodology, author keywords, and intellectual structure comparing with 344 articles of the Journal of Korean Society for Library and Information Science (JKSLIS) and 283 articles of the Journal of Korean Society for Information Management (JKOSIM). In results, there is no differences between JKBSLIS and the other two journals, JKSLIS and JKOSIM regards on bibliometric factors. The domain research areas in the JKBSLIS are 'Information Services', 'Library Management' and 'Reading Education'. It is also found that the most popular methods are 'survey' and 'case study' and that the main research areas in the shown intellectual structure are 'public library & reading', 'academic library & collection management', and 'school library & information literacy education'.

This study developed and applied Biblio-counseling program based on Alfred Adler's individual psychology targeting upper elementary school students who are in transitional stage of physical and psychological development and examined the effect of the program on the children's sense of inferiority, social interest, personality priority. The program was applied to 20 fourth and fifth graders enrolled in K Elementary School located in S City, Gyeonggi-do Province who were evenly divided into experimental group and control group who was applied for a total of 12 sessions. Main results of this study can be summarized as follows. First, in an analysis regarding the analysis result, the sense of inferiority,the social interest and personality priority showed a statistically significant difference between the two groups. Second, the Biblio-counseling program based on individual psychology had positive impact on the subjective response of the upper elementary school students. And students' interest in books and reading books improved.
