The purpose of this study is to enhance the understanding of consumer experience and behavior of Internet of Things (IoT) services and to provide practical implications through investigating the impact of benefits-cost factors and network externalities on consumers' adoption intention of IoT services. An online survey was conducted on general consumers in their 20s to 60s who were aware of the IoT services and 328 data were collected. Using SPSS 24.0, frequency analysis, correlation analysis, factor analysis, and hierarchical regression analysis were conducted. As a result, the level of consumers' IoT service experience in various contexts was examined, and entertainment, informativeness, loss of humanity, compatibility, and complementarity were found to have a significant effect on consumers' adoption intention of IoT services. This study suggests that strengthening network externality effects by increasing compatibility and complementarity is important in promoting consumers' adoption of IoT services. In future studies, it is necessary to adopt specific Internet of Things services to verify the validity of the models developed in this study.
Since the end devices of the Internet of Things (IoT) are battery operated products, careful consideration for ultra-low power (ULP) is required. The Micro Controller Unit (MCU) industry has developed very effective functions to save energy, but developers have difficulty in selecting the MCU because various operating modes are applied to reduce energy consumption by manufacturers. Therefore, this paper introduces ULPMark benchmark, a standardized benchmark method that can compare MCUs of various vendors and feature sets, and provides hardware functions for ultra-low-power operation of the two platforms that received the high evaluation scores from ULPMark. In addition, we investigated and analyzed how developers can utilize the functions for ultra low power consumption through driver APIs and detailed register control.
This paper proposes a control method of ASMR(autonomous sensory meridian response) contents to relieve user's stress and improve his attention. The proposed method measures EEG(electroencephalography), attention, meditation, and eyeblink data from an EEG device and sends them to an oneM2M-compliant IoT(internet of things) server platform through an Android IoT Application. Then a SVM(support vector machine) model is built to classify user's mental health status by using EEG, attention and meditation data collected in the server platform. The ASMR contents are controlled by the mental health status classified by a SVM model and the eyeblink data. When comparing the SVM models according to types of data used, the SVM model with attention and meditation data showed accuracy of 85.7%. It was verified that the proposed control algorithm of ASMR contents properly worked as the mental health status from the SVM model and the eyeblink data changed.
In this paper, we propose a SDN-based fog computing service mobility support scheme. Fog computing architecture has been attracted because it enables task offloading services to IoT(Internet of Things) devices which has limited computing and power resources. However, since static as well as mobile IoT devices are candidate service targets for the fog computing service, the efficient task offloading scheme considering the mobility should be required. Especially for the IoT services which need low-latency response, the new connection and task offloading delay with the new fog computing node after handover can occur QoS(Quality of Service) degradation. Therefore, this paper proposes an efficient service mobility support scheme which considers both task migration and flow rule pre-installations. Task migration allows for the service connectivity when the fog computing node needs to be changed. In addition, the flow rule pre-installations into the forwarding nodes along the path after handover enables to reduce the connection delay and service interruption time.
The combination of blockchain (BC), artificial Intelligence (AI), quantum computing (QC), and the Internet of Things (IoT) can potentially transform various industries and domains, including healthcare, logistics, and finance. In this paper, we look at the trends and developments in integrating these emerging technologies and the potential benefits and challenges that come with them. We present a conceptual framework for integrating BC, AI, QC, and IoT and discuss the framework's key characteristics and challenges. We also look at the most recent cutting-edge research and developments in integrating these technologies, as well as the key challenges and opportunities that come with them. Our analysis highlights the potential benefits of integrating the technologies and looks to increased security, privacy, and efficiency to provide insights into the future of these technologies.
Due to the prolonged infectious disease of COVID-19 worldwide, there are various security threats due to network attacks on Internet of Things devices that are vulnerable to telecommuting. Initially, users of Internet of Things devices were exploited for vulnerabilities in Remote Desktop Protocol, spear phishing and APT attacks. Since then, the technology of network attacks has gradually evolved, exploiting the simple service discovery protocol of Internet of Things devices, and DRDoS attacks have continued to increase. Existing SSDPs are accessible to unauthorized devices on the network, resulting in problems with information disclosure and amplification attacks on SSDP servers. To compensate for the problem with the authentication procedure of existing SSDPs, we propose a hash-based SSDP that encrypts server-specific information with hash and adds authentication fields to both Notify and M-Search message packets to determine whether an authorized IoT device is present.
This paper proposes a video content delivery scheme for vehicles. Today, we spend a lot of time commuting to work in vehicles such as trains and cars. In addition, the number of users who enjoy video content such as YouTube and Netflix in order to appease the boredom in the vehicle is increasing rapidly. Video content requires a larger amount of data usage than text-based content. Hence, the user's mobile communication data usage increases rapidly along with the cost. The proposed video content delivery scheme downloads a lot of video content in advance when the vehicle is in a free Wi-Fi area. In this way, it is possible to play video content in a vehicle at a low cost. It is expected that the proposed scheme can be applied to the Internet of Things(IoT) for moving objects.

Container Security Device (ConTracer) which is suggested in this study is to monitor temperature, humidity, and impact inside of the container while the container is transported. ConTracer could also give information to users when a door of the container is opened over 2 inch within 1 second. Additionally, GPS/GLONASS based global position and status information about container are transmitted to a remote server using IoT (Internet of Things) based communication. In this research, we are looking into the development trend of global container security devices; and applying ConTracer to real freight transport from domestic to overseas using Global Roaming Service which is offered for domestic Mobile Communication Companies as well. As a result, we estimate the performance of ConTracer and verify it.

In this paper, a smart elevator system was studied using real-time object detection technology based on YOLO(You only look once)v5. When an external elevator button is pressed, the YOLOv5 model analyzes the camera video to determine whether there are people waiting, and if it determines that there are no people waiting, the button is automatically canceled. The study introduces an effective method of implementing object detection and communication technology through YOLOv5 and MQTT (Message Queuing Telemetry Transport) used in the Internet of Things. And using this, we implemented a smart elevator system that determines in real time whether there are people waiting. The proposed system can play the role of CCTV (closed-circuit television) while reducing unnecessary power consumption. Therefore, the proposed smart elevator system is expected to contribute to safety and security issues.

This study analyzed the influence of experiential marketing factors of 3D printing and Internet services on technology acceptance factors and usage intention. Furthermore, we analyzed how the user's innovativeness shows the effect on the intention to use. Data acquired from a total of 518 college students was used for the final analysis, which was perfromed by SPSS 21.0 and AMOS 23.0 programs. The results of this study are as follows. We analyzed the influence of the experiential marketing factors of fashion service utilizing the 3D printing and the Internet of Things on the acceptance of technology and intention to use these technologies. As for 3D printing, first, sensory and behavioral factors are positively related to the acceptance of technology. Second, emotional and cognitive factors have negative effects on all technology acceptance. Third, relational factors did not show a significant influence on several conditions of technology acceptance. Fourth, the effects of technology acceptance on the willingness to use have a positive effect on several conditions factors, except the effort expectation. As for the result concerning the Internet of Things first, behavioral factors have a positive effect on all technology acceptance. Second, emotional factors have a negative effect on all technology acceptance. Third, cognitive factors did not have a significant effect on various conditions and showed negative effects on several factors. Fourth, sensory and relational factors did not affect the acceptance of technology.
