일반 시설물의 지반-구조물 상호작용 해석 기준에 대한 고찰 (Overview on Standards for Soil-Structure Interaction Analysis used in Design of Infrastructure)

  • This study reviews concepts, theories and formulas included in standards on soil-structure interaction and also shows practical example of application for engineers. Real structures are 3 dimensional and multi degree of freedom but they are often idealized to single degree of freedom for convenience. In this study, detailed procedures to calculate soil spring constants and damping coefficients and method to model soil-structure system are explained. Additionally, case studies to judge fixed base condition and evaluation of applicability of simple analysis method based on response spectra are performed.

구조물-가진기 상호작용에 의한 공진주파수 변동에 대한 해석 (Analysis on the Measured Natural Frequencies Due to the Structure-Exciter Interaction)

  • The purpose of this paper is to investigate the influence of the exciter attached for the measurement of natural frequencies when extracting the frequency response functions of the test structure in experimental modal analysis. The procedure is first to model the attached exciter as an additional degree of freedom system and next to verify the suggested model by experimentally extracting the natural frequencies of the test structure with various values of exciter mass, stinger stiffness and attachment position of the exciter on the test structure. It is concluded that as additional degree of freedom system which includes the natural frequency of the exciter itself and axial stiffness of stinger should be considered to quantatively define the coupling effects of structure-exciter interaction on the measured natural frequencies. It is not the mass of the exciter itself but the coupling effect of the additional degree of freedom mass-spring system consisting of exciter body and armature coil that characterizes the natural frequency deviation. Therefore, when the natural frequency of this additional mass-spring system is outside of the test frequency range, the coupling effect of structure-exciter interaction can be minimized.

  • The aim of this study is to analyze the green-tourism centrality considering spatial interaction using Gravity Model and social network method. The degree centrality and prestige centrality were applied as green-tourism centrality index. The rural amenity resources and human resources were counted as attraction factors, and a distance among villages was used as friction factor in gravity model. The weights of rural tourism amenity resources were calculated using the analytic hierarchy process(AHP) method and applied to evaluate green-tourism potentiality. The distance was measured with the shortest path among villages using geographic information system(GIS) network analysis. The spatial interaction from gravity model were employed as link weights between nodal points; a pair villages. Using the spatial interaction, the degree-centrality and prestige-centrality indices were calculated by social network analysis and demonstrated possibility of developing integrated green-tourism region centered on high centrality villages.

웹기반 협력학습에서 참여와 상호작용의 차이에 대한 고찰 (The Effects of learner participation and interaction in web-based collaborative learning)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 웹기반 협력학습에서 참여와 상호작용 가운데 협력적 자기효능감과 성취도를 예측하는 변인이 무엇인지를 확인하는 것이다. 본 연구에서 상호작용은 둘 이상의 행위자 간의 관계에서 발생하는 의사소통을 의미하는 것으로 참여와 구분된다. 이러한 구분에 따라 보다 타당한 측정을 위한 지표로 연결중심성 지표 중 하나인 외향중심성과 내향중심성을 사용하였다. 구체적으로, 참여, 외향중심성, 내향중심성 가운데 어떠한 변인이 협력적 자기효능감과 성취도를 예측하는지 분석하였다. 이를 위해 대학생을 대상으로 2주에 걸쳐 온라인 협력학습을 실시하고, 설문, 참여도, 사회연결망분석을 통한 상호작용 및 성취도 자료를 수집한 후 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과 상호작용의 내향중심성이 협력적 자기효능감을 예측하였으며, 상호작용의 외향중심성이 성취도를 예측하였다. 이는 동료로부터 많은 반응과 피드백을 받을수록 협력적 자기효능감이 높아지며, 타인의 글에 대하여 자신의 생각을 정리하는 과정을 거치는 경험이 성취도 수준과 관련이 있음을 시사한다.

사회복지 관리체제간의 상호작용수준에 관한 실증적 연구 (Empirical Study on The Interaction Degree between Social Welfare Management Systems)

  • 본 연구는 사회복지 기관 내부 구성원을 두 부류로 구분하여 대상자들을 직접적으로 관리, 감독하는 1차 조직과 이를 지원, 보조하는 2차 조직으로 분류하고, 양 조직을 조직간 관계이론 중 협력관계와 관련하여 양자의 상호작용 수준을 기반으로 하여 어느 정도의 협력수준을 확보하고 있는지에 대하여 실증적 연구를 통하여 분석하였다. 이는 사회복지 업무의 특성상 대상자와 관계인 들이 필요로 하는 궁극적인 목적에 효과적으로 도달하기 위해서는 양자의 유기적인 협력이 필수 요소로 추정되기 때문이다. 이 연구결과를 통하여 양자는 관리체제간의 협력의 필요성에 대해 모두 폭넓게 인식하고 있으며, 조직 간의 유기적 협력을 위해 조직 내부적인 차원에서 담당자들의 협력에 대한 가치관과 행태의 정립이 우선시되어야 한다는 정책적 시사점이 도출되었다.

  • In this study, effects of thurster axis tilting angle on the thruster-hull interaction and propulsion performance in a dynamic positioning system of offshore plant are numerically investigated. Straight and 7-degree tilted downward thruster models as a form of ducted propeller are considered. For numerical simulations, Reynolds averaged Navier-Stokes equations with SST turbulence model are solved by using STAR-CCM+. Results show that thruster-hull interaction is reduced in 7-degree tilted thruster model with lower vortex strength between thruster and hull bottom, although the propulsion performance does not have noticeable difference in a bollard condition.

간호대학생들의 상호작용 특징과 대인관계성향의 관계: 사회연결망 분석을 중심으로 (Relationship between the Interpersonal Disposition and Interactive Characteristics of Nursing College Students: A Social Network Analysis)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to use the social network analysis to verify the relationship between the interpersonal disposition and interactive characteristics of nursing college students. Five classes, a total of 117 nursing students were included in the study. Methods: The study interaction network centralization, density and in-degree & out-degree centrality were used as indicators for measuring students' study interaction. Also, the students' interpersonal disposition was measured using verified tool. Results: The results indicated that the ordinary type which gave and took the information generally showed the highest proportions in the study interaction network. Also, the empathic-acceptable tendency of social relation domain showed the highest proportions in the interpersonal disposition. Moreover, the students who play the isolate and the carrier role in the study interaction network had no relation with the expression tendency, and the transmitter role play students had no relation with the role tendency. Conclusion: Based on the results, the tutors should consider the students' interpersonal relationship disposition when implementing the instructional strategy in PBL curriculum.

소비자 지각측면의 브랜드 가치가 수직적 브랜드확장의 확장방향성 형태별 제품 수용도에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Consumers' Perceptual Brand Value on the Receptive Degree of Product in Extension Types of Vertical Brand Extension)

  • 본 연구는 실제 브랜드를 이용하여 소비자 지각측면에서 인식되고 있는 브랜드 가치의 구성요소들이 수직적 브랜드확장의 제품 수용도에 미치는 영향과 그에 따른 확장 방향성 형태별 제품 수용도의 차이를 규명하였다. 첫째, 브랜드 인지도는 상향적 확장과 하향적 확장 모두에서 긍정적인 영향을 주며, 제품 수용도가 상향적 확장보다는 하향적 확장에서 더 큰 것으로 확인되었다. 둘째, 브랜드 연상은 상향적 확장에서는 긍정적인 영향이 주지 못한 반면에 하향적 확장에서는 긍정적인 영향을 주고 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 셋째, 지각된 품질은 브랜드 인지도와 같은 결과를 보이고 있는 가운데 지각된 품질이 높은 경우에서 상향적 확장의 제품 수용도가 브랜드 인지도가 높은 경우와 브랜드 연상이 높은 경우와 비교해 더 높은 것으로 확인되었다. 넷째, 브랜드 가치 구성요소들의 상호작용에 따른 영향을 분석한 결과, 브랜드 인지도 및 브랜드 연상은 하향적 확장에서만, 브랜드 인지도 및 지각된 품질과 브랜드 연상 및 지각된 품질은 상향적 확장과 하향적 확장 모두에서 상호작용효과로 인해 제품 수용도의 차이가 더 큰 것으로 확인되었다.

The Protein-Protein Interaction Network of Hereditary Parkinsonism Genes Is a Hierarchical Scale-Free Network

  • Purpose Hereditary parkinsonism genes consist of causative genes of familial Parkinson's disease (PD) with a locus symbol prefix (PARK genes) and hereditary atypical parkinsonian disorders that present atypical features and limited responsiveness to levodopa (non-PARK genes). Although studies have shown that hereditary parkinsonism genes are related to idiopathic PD at the phenotypic, gene expression, and genomic levels, no study has systematically investigated connectivity among the proteins encoded by these genes at the protein-protein interaction (PPI) level. Materials and Methods Topological measurements and physical interaction enrichment were performed to assess PPI networks constructed using some or all the proteins encoded by hereditary parkinsonism genes (n=96), which were curated using the Online Mendelian Inheritance in Man database and literature. Results Non-PARK and PARK genes were involved in common functional modules related to autophagy, mitochondrial or lysosomal organization, catecholamine metabolic process, chemical synapse transmission, response to oxidative stress, neuronal apoptosis, regulation of cellular protein catabolic process, and vesicle-mediated transport in synapse. The hereditary parkinsonism proteins formed a single large network comprising 51 nodes, 83 edges, and three PPI pairs. The probability of degree distribution followed a power-law scaling behavior, with a degree exponent of 1.24 and a correlation coefficient of 0.92. LRRK2 was identified as a hub gene with the highest degree of betweenness centrality; its physical interaction enrichment score was 1.28, which was highly significant. Conclusion Both PARK and non-PARK genes show high connectivity at the PPI and biological functional levels.

Structure-Reactivity Relationship of Substituted Phenylethyl Arenesulfonates with Substituted Pyridines under High Pressure

  • Nucleophilic substitution reactions of (Z)-phenylethyl (X)-benzenesulfonates with (Y)-pyridines were investigated in acetonitrile at 60 ℃ under respective pressures. The magnitudes of the Hammett reaction constants, ρX, ρY and ρZ indicate that a stronger nucleophile leads to a greater degree of bond formation of C-N and a better leaving group is accompanied by a less degree of bond breaking. The magnitude of correlation interaction term, ρij can be used to determine the structure of the transition state (TS) for the SN reaction. As the pressure is increased, the Hammett reaction constants, ρX and |ρY|, are decreased, but correlation interaction coefficient, ρXZ and |ρYZ|, are increased. The results indicate that the reaction of (Z)-phenylethyl (X)-benzenesulfonates with (Y)-pyridines probably moves from a dissociative SN2 to early-type concerted SN2 mechanism by increasing pressure. This result shows that the correlation interaction term ρij can be useful tool to determine the structure of TS, and also the sign of the product ρXZ·ρYZ can be predict the movement of the TS.
