대학도서관은 장애인 이용자의 정보이용 및 학습의 기회를 보장하기 위해 적절한 시설과 장비를 구비하고 서비스를 제공해야 한다. 본 연구는 국내 외 현황 조사와 장애인 이용자와의 심층면접을 기초로 대학도서관에 서 제공하고 있는 장애인 서비스에 대한 개선 방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 조사 결과 도서관에서 제공하고 있는 장애인 서비스를 개선하고 장애인 이용자의 이용을 높이기 위해서는 장비 도입과 서비스 제공 시 요구분석과 의견 수렴과정을 통해 장애인 이용자들의 의견이 반영될 수 있도록 해야 하며, 시설과 서비스를 효과적으로 결합할 수 있는 전용공간을 제공할 필요가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 도서관 직원에 대한 지속적이고 정기적인 장애인 서비스 교육과 함께 장애인 전담사서를 지정해 One-stop 서비스를 제공할 필요가 있다. 이와 함께 장애인 지원을 위한 교내 외 기관, 단체 등과의 협력 및 연계와 함께 서비스 개선을 위한 정기적인 실태조사와 평가가 이루어질 필요가 있는 것으로 분석되었다.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the oral health promotion of the disabled persons by voluntary dental services in Ulsan Metropolitan City. Two dentists taken a calibration training for national oral health survey examined the oral health status of 473 disabled persons from two special schools for the disabled children and adolescents, a residential facility and a gymnasium for the disabled persons in 2009-2010. The surveyed disabled persons in the age range was from 7 to 74 years old. Voluntary dentists, oral hygienists and other civilian volunteers had supplied with the oral health care services to the disabled persons at dental clinics of special schools for the disabled children and adolescents, and a dental clinic supported from Nam-Gu Public Health Center in Ulsan Metropolitan City since 1997. The obtained data from these surveys were analyzed with the SPSS statistical package. Among subjects aged 12-14 years, subjects with decayed, missing and filled teeth (DMFT) in permanent dentition was 46.9%; subjects with untreated decayed teeth, 17.2%. The number of decayed, missing and filled teeth in permanent dentition was 1.36. The proportion of decayed components of DMFT score was 28.00%; proportion of missing components of DMFT score, 1.43%; proportion of filled components of DMFT score, 70.57%. The proportion of filled components of DMFT score among disabled persons of all age group in Ulsan were evaluated to be a similar level to non-disabled citizens in Ulsan from 2010 Korean National Survey. The oral health care programs for disabled persons by voluntary services of dental professionals and other civilians are evaluated to be effective for the oral health promotion of disabled persons in Ulsan.

This study proposed a registered dentist model for the disabled based on consumer in-depth interview and supplier survey. This study proposed that dental clinics in the community take role as registered dentists for the disabled. Qualification screening and facility prerequisites are required to be selected as the registered dentists for the disabled and patients of the registered dentists were restricted to the disabled who can cooperate to dental treatment services with or without the aid of physical bondage. In order to encourage the participation in the program, subsidies for the registered dentists were necessary. Also, this study proposed financial supports for the medical expenses for patients at the same level as the current dental care center for the disabled. The registered dentist program for the disabled meets the needs of disabled consumers, such as accessibility of medical institutions, expertise of medical staff, and ongoing treatments with familiar medical staff. The registered dentist program for the disabled is expected to provide prevention and ongoing management for oral health promotion of disabled people and it also contribute to lower economic burden of oral health care of the disabled.

The purpose of this study was supply basic information and positive attitude needed to understand the disabled person through the analysing EMT Dept. student reaction on the disabled person. The subjects for this study were 251 students from G-college in In-Cheon City. The subjects were separated as the EMT dept. students and general dept student. The instrument used for this study were Lazer. Bonett and Granaff(1973). The scale of attitude on the disabled person. Data were analyzed by use of two-sample t-test and correlation coefficient with SAS program. Results are as follows ; 1. Frist, the EMT Dept. students showed more positive and optimistic attitude on the disabled person as safety prevention with their family life and safety prevention with first impression, but the general dept. student showed more positive and optimistic attitude on the disabled person as safety prevention with their self-consciousness, safety prevention with operative capacity, safety prevention with social life and safety prevention with school life. 2. Second, on attitude of 1 or 2 grade, first grade showed more positive and optimistic attitude on the disabled person as safety prevention with self-consciousness and safety prevention with operative capacity. Second grade showed more positive and optimistic attitude on the disabled person as safety prevention with social life, safety prevention with family life and safety prevention with school life. and first impression. But disabled person as safety prevention with self-consciousness, safety prevention with operative capacity, safety prevention with social life, safety prevention with school life and first impression. 3. Third, in interrelation effect analysing each section department and grade. They showed and interrelated more positive and optimistic attitude on the disabled person as safety prevention with their social life and first impression. As a results, it is important to understand disabled person whose physical condition. Especially, this study suggests to need to endeavor safety prevention for disabled person.

To evaluate the effects of planned visiting nursing services for homebound disabled persons in the community who have had a cerebrovascular accident Methods: One group pre-test and post-test research deign was applied to 61 disabled persons who were undergoing rehabilitation with visiting nursing services to evaluate the effects on the health status (SF-36) and activity daily living (ADL/IADL) from March to August, 2001. Results: The health status score by SF-36 of homebound disabled people was significantly improved; the average score was 28.56$\pm$21.24 before service, 34.29$\pm$22.30 at 3 months after, and 40.84$\pm$=27.41 at 6 months after. The activity daily living score by OASIS II was also significantly increased (z= -6.09, p=.000; z= -6.04, p= .000) at 3 months and 6 months after home visiting nursing services. Conclusion: The strategy plan for developing a visiting nursing service in health centers should be prepared to develop community based rehabilitation (CBR) programs as well as to improve the level of health status and ADL/IADL for homebound disabled people in the community.

This study aims to help utilize the dental treatment institutions for the disabled and provide high quality of medical services in the future by identifying the satisfaction factors for the patients of the dental clinics for the disabled. As a study method, surveys were completed 200 patients who visited the dental hospital for the disabled. Among these, the surveys from 187 patients were statistically analyzed. The main findings of this study are as follow. Since the study showed that there were differences in the satisfaction factors between the disabled and non-disabled people, subsequent studies needs to be done to develop measuring tools to accurately accommodate the satisfaction factors of the disabled. In addition, as the low spatial accessibility in terms of distance and location was found in this study, more dental treatment institutions for the disabled are required. In the meantime, the survey results found that the most satisfactory aspect was the lower treatment cost compared to other clinics, and that the most important factor when choosing a clinic was also treatment. In addition, given the fact that the group that took a prosthetic treatment, which was non-insured treatment, showed higher satisfaction compared to the group that did not, it suggests that the economic burden plays an important role for the dental treatment of the disabled.

본 연구는 장애인서비스 전문사서 양성 교과과정 모형개발을 위한 기초연구이다. 이를 위하여 문헌을 통한 이론적 연구를 수행하고 국내 문헌정보학과 교육과정 장애인서비스 담당사서의 계속 교육과정 및 서울시 공공도서관의 장애인서비스 현황을 조사 분석하였다. 조사 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 학부 대학원 과정의 경우 현재 각각 한 곳에 장애인서비스 전문사서 양성과 관련된 교과과정이 개설되어 있었다. 둘째, 장애인서비스 담당사서의 계속 교육과정은 국립중앙도서관에서 2010년 처음 강좌를 개설한 이후 매년 강좌를 개최하고 있으며, 강좌 이수 후 설문조사를 실시하여 이수자들의 의견을 다음 강좌내용 선정에 반영하고 있다. 셋째, 현재 공공도서관을 이용하는 장애인은 시각장애인보다는 지체장애, 정신지체, 정서 행동장애, 자폐성 장애가 있는 이용자가 많은 것으로 나타났다. 장애인서비스는 관외대출서비스가 대부분을 차지하고 있었으며 일반자료를 대상으로 이루어지고 있었다. 전화인터뷰에 의하면 현재 장애인서비스를 적극적으로 수행하고 있는 소수 기관의 담당사서들은 장애인에 대한 이해, 장애인 문화프로그램 운영 기획에 관한 정보를 필요로 하고 있었다.

이 연구는 우리나라 도서관 장애인서비스의 현재 수준을 알아보기 위하여 전국 공공도서관, 장애인도서관(점자 도서관)을 대상으로 현황을 조사 분석하였다. 설문조사는 공공도서관 768개관, 장애인도서관 36개관이며, 일반현황, 편의시설, 대체자료, 보조공학기기, 자료 및 정보서비스, 문화프로그램 6개 영역으로 구분하여 다양한 측면들을 조사 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 장애인서비스의 수준과 내용에서 도서관 운영주체, 내용적 측면, 지역에 따라 다양한 편차가 나타났다. 이 가운데 공공도서관 장애인자료실과 장애인코너에 전담직원이 있는 경우, 장애인 서비스의 질적 수준이 상대적으로 높은 것으로 나타났다.

공공도서관은 지역사회의 모든 주민에게 지식정보와 평생교육을 제공하고 정보접근을 도와주며 정보격차를 줄여주는 중추적인 기관으로서의 역할을 수행하기 위하여 설립 운영되고 있다. 그러나 국내의 경우, 특히 지역사회의 지식정보 취약계층으로 간주되는 시각장애인을 위한 공공도서관 서비스가 상당히 부실하고 시각장애인도 공공도서관을 거의 이용하지 않고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 시각장애인이 공공도서관을 이용하지 않는 이유에 대한 인식도를 다각도로 조사 분석하여 상관성이 높은 공통된 요인을 추출하고 왜 그러한 결과가 나타났는지에 대해 살펴봄으로써 그들의 정보접근 및 이용권을 보장하는 동시에 공공도서관의 이용을 활성화하는데 기여하고자 한다.
