터보팬 및 터보샤프트 엔진 시운전실 Correlation 시험 절차 비교와 분석에 관한 연구 (A Study on Comparison and Analysis of Correlation Test Procedure for a Turbofan and Turboshaft Engine Test Cell)

  • 엔진 시운전실은 엔진의 성능 및 운용 특성 요구도를 적절하게 검증할 수 있도록 통제된 시험 환경을 제공해야 한다. 하지만 시운전 설비마다 구조 및 특성이 완전히 같을 수는 없기 때문에, 신규 시운전실은 기준 시운전실과의 Correlation 시험을 통해 시험 결과의 신뢰성을 검증하고 차이점을 보정하는 과정이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 터보팬과 터보샤프트 엔진의 공통점과 차이점을 바탕으로 Correlation 시험을 수행할 때 고려사항들을 연구하였으며, 경험에 따른 Correlation 시험 절차의 예시를 제시하였다. 향후 본 연구가 엔진 종류에 따른 시험 설비의 인증 표준을 설정하는 것에 도움을 줄 것으로 기대한다.

국내 철도 노반 흙재료의 반복재하에 따른 영구변형 발생 특성 및 상관성 분석 (Characteristic Analysis of Permanent Deformation in Railway Track Soil Subgrade Using Cyclic Triaxial Compression Tests)

  • 철도궤도 상부 흙노반은 궤광으로부터 전달된 열차하중을 지지하고 분산하는 기능을 갖는다. 성토체의 일반적인 흙노반은 흙재료를 다짐하여 조성하며 차량 반복하중에 의해 공용중 잔류침하가 발생하는 데 일정부분 기여한다. 흙노반의 잔류침하는 회복불가능한 영구변형이어서 궤도틀림 등 궤도 안전성을 크게 저하시킨다. 그럼에도 불구하고 현재까지 흙노반재료에 대한 역학적 시험을 바탕으로 합리적인 잔류침하 관리기준이 제시된 바 없다. 반면에 흙노반의 현장관리 및 판정기준은 강성평가 또는 현장들밀도시험에 의해서만 이루어지고 있어 불합리하다. 본 연구에서는 흙노반이 경험하는 전단응력비(${\tau}/{\tau}_f$)와 구속압(${\sigma}_3$)을 수치해석을 통해 구하고 이를 반영한 실내 흙노반 영구변형시험방법을 제시하였다. 제시된 시험방법을 이용하여 대표적인 철도건설현장 흙노반 재료로 만든 다짐시편에 대하여 반복삼축시험을 실시하였으며 이로부터 향후 잔류침하의 추정에 활용할 수 있는 기본 영구변형예측모델 모델계수를 구속압 및 전단응력비 수준별로 제시할 수 있었다.

  • In the industry, accelerated corrosion test is used for the life time prediction. When anti-corrosion test proceeds in real environments, it is difficult that we predict and evaluate the corrosion life time because of the long test time such as 10 years or more time. Accelerated corrosion test and Salt spray test are able to test corrosion life time of products in the laboratory instead of outdoor corrosion test. Experimental procedure is selected for the corrosion standard specimen, exposure of the specimens, measurements of the mass loss and evaluating the mass loss data. As a result, the acceleration factor of the accelerated corrosion test to the outdoor corrosion test is 414.8. Therefore we can predict the corrosion life time of carbon steel during a short time period.

감소(減少)하는 고장률(故障率)하에서 오류예측 및 테스트 시간(時間)의 최적화(最適化)에 관한 연구(硏究) (Error Forecasting & Optimal Stopping Rule under Decreasing Failure Rate)

  • This paper is concerned with forecasting the existing number of errors in the computer software and optimizing the stopping time of the software test based upon the forecasted number of errors. The most commonly used models have assessed software reliability under the assumption that the software failure late is proportional to the current fault content of the software but invariant to time since software faults are independents of others and equally likely to cause a failure during testing. In practice, it has been observed that in many situations, the failure rate decrease. Hence, this paper proposes a mathematical model to describe testing situations where the failure rate of software limearly decreases proportional to testing time. The least square method is used to estimate parameters of the mathematical model. A cost model to optimize the software testing time is also proposed. In this cost mode two cost factors are considered. The first cost is to test execution cost directly proportional to test time and the second cost is the failure cost incurred after delivery of the software to user. The failure cost is assumed to be proportional to the number of errors remained in the software at the test stopping time. The optimal stopping time is determined to minimize the total cost, which is the sum of test execution cast and the failure cost. A numerical example is solved to illustrate the proposed procedure.

베이지안 로지스틱 회귀모형에서의 추론에 대한 연구 (Inferential Problems in Bayesian Logistic Regression Models)

  • 기존의 frequentist 추론에 비해 Bayesian 추론에서의 가설 검정 및 모형 선택 문제는 학자들 간에 일치된 견해를 보이지 못하고 있으며 아직도 논란이 되는 것들이 많다. Bayesian 추론에서 가설 검정 및 모형 선택의 기준으로 널리 쓰이는 Bayes factor는 이해하기 쉬우나 여러 경우에 구하기 어려운 단점이 존재한다. 그 외에 다른 기준으로 Spiegelhalter 등 (2002)가 제시한 DIC(Deviance Information Criterion)과 frequentist 추론에서의 P-value에 대비되는 Bayesian P-value가 있다. 본 논문에서는 Swiss banknote 자료를 Bayesian 로지스틱 회귀모형으로 분석하고 관련 기준들을 구하여 각 기준들이 일관성 있는 결론을 보이는지 확인하고자 한다.

A Practical Intent Fuzzing Tool for Robustness of Inter-Component Communication in Android Apps

  • This research aims at a new practical Intent fuzzing tool for detecting Intent vulnerabilities of Android apps causing the robustness problem. We proposed two new ideas. First, we designed an Intent specification language to describe the structure of Intent, which makes our Intent fuzz testing tool flexible. Second, we proposed an automatic tally method classifying unique failures. With the two ideas, we implemented an Intent fuzz testing tool called Hwacha, and evaluated it with 50 commercial Android apps. Our tool offers an arbitrary combination of automatic and manual Intent generators with executors such as ADB and JUnit due to the use of the Intent specification language. The automatic tally method excluded almost 80% of duplicate failures in our experiment, reducing efforts of testers very much in review of failures. The tool uncovered more than 400 unique failures including what is unknown so far. We also measured execution time for Intent fuzz testing, which has been rarely reported before. Our tool is practical because the whole procedure of fuzz testing is fully automatic and the tool is applicable to the large number of Android apps with no human intervention.

시편두께 및 균열깊이 영향을 고려한 비표준시편의 J 시험법 및 구속효과의 정량화 (Specimen Thickness and Crack Depth Effects on J Testing and Crack Tip Constraint for Non-standard Specimen)

  • This paper compiles solutions of plastic $\eta$ factors and crack tip stress triaxialites for standard and nonstandard fracture toughness testing specimens, via detailed three-dimensional (3-D) finite element (FE) analyses. Fracture toughness testing specimens include a middle cracked tension (M(T)) specimen, SE(B), single-edge cracked bar in tension (SE(T)) and C(T) specimen. The ligament-to-thickness ratio of the specimen is systematically varied. It is found that the use of the CMOD overall provides more robust experimental J estimation than that of the LLD, for all cases considered in the present work. Moreover, the J estimation based on the load-CMOD record is shown to be insensitive to the specimen thickness, and thus can be used for testing specimen with any thickness. The effects of in-plane and out-of-plane constraint on the crack tip stress triaxiality are also quantified, so that when experimental J value is estimated according to the procedure recommended in this paper, the corresponding crack tip stress triaxiality can be estimated. Moreover, it is found that the out-of-plane constraint effect is related to the in-plane constraint effect.

전동화된 자동차의 출력측정방법 개발 (Development of Power Measurement Method for Electrified Vehicles)

  • Electrified vehicles can be classified with hybrid electric vehicles, battery electric vehicles and fuel cell electric vehicles. These vehicles have two more than energy converters which are the part of a powertrain. It is particularly difficult to estimate the power of hybrid electric vehicles due to two different energy converters with different power characteristics. Therefore, a new power concept for these vehicles is needed. The vehicle power as the new concept for solving this problem was defined in this study. The test method and the procedure were made a development in this study. Four electrified vehicles with different electric fraction were used to validate the method. Two percentage of COV was suggested as a criterion for the maximum vehicles power based on the previous studies. The repeatability of this method was within ${\pm}2$ per cent for the maximum vehicle power and within ${\pm}5$ per cent for the vehicle speed at maximum vehicle power.

  • 본 논문은 모델 기반 내장형 소프트웨어의 자동 생성 코드에 대한 효율적인 신뢰성 시험 절차와 구체화된 동적 시험 방안에 대해서 제시하고 있다. 모델 정적/동적 시험 각각을 코드 정적/동적 시험 전에 수행함으로서 코드 신뢰성 시험 수행의 이점이 있음을 기술하였다. 또한, 모델과 코드의 신뢰성 시험 상관관계를 모델의 경우 Model Advisor와 Verification and Validation tool, 코드의 경우 Polyspace와 LDRA를 이용하여 살펴보고 제시한 절차대로 수행한 신뢰성 시험의 결과를 보여주고 있다.

  • The use of System-on-Chip (SoC) solutions in the design of on-board data handling systems is an important step towards further miniaturization in space. However, the Total Ionizing Dose (TID) and Single Event Effects (SEE) characterization of these complex devices present new challenges that are either not fully addressed by current testing guidelines or may result in expensive, cumbersome test configurations. In this paper we report the test setups, procedures and results for TID testing of a SoC microcontroller both using standard $^{60}Co$ and low-energy protons beams. This paper specifically points out the differences in the test methodology and in the challenges between TID testing with proton beam and with the conventional gamma ray irradiation. New test setup and procedures are proposed which are capable of emulating typical mission conditions (clock, bias, software, reprogramming, etc.) while keeping the test setup as simple as possible at the same time.
