  • PDP is watched as a wall-mounted flat displayer for merits, such as ability to visual maximize and natural color reproduction. But it is more necessary to research video quality why PDP is competing with another displayer. This paper is explaned HDL software architecture implementaion for PDP test-bed module and producing board using FPGA to research 42" PDP video quality.

  • In Korea, new total energy-saving solution has planned to build test-bed in underground subway station. Breaking energy is one of the most energy saving method in railway, but it has not be fully used up for economical purpose. This paper demonstrates on energy saving technology application including breaking energy and heating energy to underground subway station. It also offer solution of optimization of power energy flow. Moreover, economic feasibility analysis performed for undergound test bed constuction.

  • In this paper, the algorithms increase the capacity of the forward link channel are studied in the DS-CDMA mobile communication system with the technology of transmit antenna array. Through of the implementation of the test bed with PC and DSP boards, the hardware implementation and optimization of the algorithms, the operation scenario and architecture of the test bed, are considered. In addition, the performance analyses are achieved about the execution time of the algorithms.

  • This paper presents an experimental measurement system for 3-6 GHz microwave tomography (MT) of the breast. The measurement system is constructed as a minimal test bed to verify key components such as the sensing antennas, radio frequency (RF) transceiver, sensing mechanism, and image reconstruction method for our advanced MT system detecting breast cancer at an early stage. The test bed has eight RF channels operating at 3 to 6 GHz for high spatial resolution and a two-axis scanning mechanism for three-dimensional measurement. The measurement results from the test bed are shown and discussed.

  • 건축물에서 화재가 발생할 경우 연기에 의한 요인이 인명피해의 주요 원인으로 파악되고 있다. 특히 건축물이 고층화, 복합화, 대형화되면서 화재시 연기에 취약한 건축물이 증가하고 있고, 또한 기존의 연기제어 설계기준이 개선되어야 할 필요가 발생하고 있다. 이러한 요구에 부응하기 위해서는 새로운 조건에 대한 연기확산 및 연기제어에 대한 수행되어야 하며, 이론 수치해석적 연구와 더불어 실제적인 실험적 연구가 되어야 한다. 한국건설기술연구원 화재안전연구센터에는 5층규모의 제배연 실험동이 건립되어 있으며, 다양한 건축물 조건 및 연기제어 방식에 따른 실규모의 실험적 연구가 가능하도록 설비가 구성되어 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 Pre-Pilot Test Bed의 구축현황과 관련 실험내용을 소개하고자 한다.

  • As the Long-life certification system is recently introduced in the Housing Law in Korea, it is expected that an application of the lightweight wall panel will be increased in apartment construction as the main wall system. However, the performance criteria for lightweight wall is in the early phase of its action. Therefore, it is necessary to establish the performance criteria properly by investigating performance requirement in the user's perspective. The purpose of this study is to identify of the weight of the required performance items for the lightweight wall in apartment house. To analyze the priority in the performance, an interview survey is performed; after monitering the test-bed of the lightweight walls, user and experts evaluate the performance requirements. The weight of the performance requirement is developed by AHP method.

  • 본 논문은 코어의 다양한 재질, 단면적으로 인한 인덕터의 특성변화를 시뮬레이션 하기 위해 PSIM의 Saturable Core를 이용하여 인덕터 구성을 한다. 특히 전기자동차의 LDC (Low-voltage DC-DC Converter)용 인덕터의 Test-Bed를 구성하고, 인덕터 설계 시 코어의 변화에 따른 인덕터 특성의 변화를 시뮬레이션을 통해 구현한다. 또한 설계된 인덕터를 시뮬레이션에 구현하여 비 이상적인 특성을 가지는 인덕터를 구현하고, 이를 통해 시뮬레이션을 통한 인덕터 검증의 필요성을 제시한다.

  • This presentation summarizes the development of the integration information search system for a Test-bed area located in Daejeon. It will be used for the validation of software components developed for the high resolution satellite image processing. The system development utilizes the Java programming language and implements the web browse capabilities to search, manage, and augment the satellite image data, the Ground Control Point(GCP) data, the spectral information on land cover types, the atmospheric data, and the topographical map.

The Effect of Meridian Acupressure on Constipation in the Bed-ridden Aged with Stroke (경혈지압이 뇌졸중 와상노인 환자의 변비완화에 미치는 효과)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the effect of meridian acupressure on constipation in bed-ridden aged inpatients. Methods: The research design was a non-synchronized non-equivalent control group pretest-posttest design. The subjects consisted of 28 bed-ridden aged inpatients. Meridian acupressure was administered to the experimental group at 30 minutes before breakfast every morning for two weeks. Each meridian was pressured for 10 seconds, 10 times. The frequency of defecation and stool form were examined every day. The data was analyzed by the $x^2$-test, Fisher's exact test, t-test and repeated measures ANOVA. Results: The experimental group given Meridian Acupressure had a higher frequency of defecation(F = 59.372, p = .000) and normal stool(F = 46.046, p = .000) than the control group. Conclusion: The results suggest that Meridian Acupressure was an effective method for the relief of constipation for bed-ridden aged inpatients. A follow -up research is needed to validate that other patients with constipation can use the Meridian Acupressure as a non-invasive nursing intervention instead of a laxative or enema.
