한국형 고속전철 시제차량용 알루미늄차체 설계개선 및 시험평가 (Design improvement and test and evaluation of aluminium carbody of korea high speed rolling stock)

  • In this paper, the design improvement for high speed train carbody, which made by aluminium alloy, was described. The design improvements was achieved in fields of economical efficiency, extrusion, welding, assembling, etc. This paper also describes the result of carbody test. The purpose of the test is to evaluate an safety under the load and operation condition. This strength test based on KTX and reference code is UIC 566 and JIS E 7105. The test results shows that aluminium carbody structural have enough strength for all part.

스마트 무인기 지상시험장치의 다물체 동역학 및 구조진동해석 (Multi-body Dynamics and Structural Vibration Analyses of Smart UAV Ground Test Equipment)

  • In this study, computational multi-body dynamics and structural vibration analyses including some impact condition have been conducted for the ground flight test system of the developed smart UAV model. Designed ground test system has four degree-of-freedom motions with limited motion control mechanism. Design safety margin designs for several structural components are tested and verified considering expected critical motions (pitching and rolling) of the test smart UAV model. Computational results for various analysis conditions are practically presented in detail. Futhermore, proper design modifications of the initially designed test equipment in order to guarantee or increase structural safety have been successfully conducted in the design stage.

Insulation Design and Reliability Evaluation of ±80kV HVDC XLPE Cables

  • This paper describes insulation design and its reliability evaluation of ${\pm}80kV$ HVDC XLPE cable. Recently, the construction of HVDC transmission system, which is combined overhead line with underground cable, has been completed. This system is installed with existing 154 kV AC transmission line on the same tower. In this paper, the lightning transient analysis is firstly reviewed for selection of basic impulse insulation level and nominal insulation thickness. Then the electrical performance tests including load cycle test and superimposed impulse test based on CIGRE TB 496 are performed to evaluate the reliability of newly designed HVDC cable. There is no breakdown for ${\pm}80kV$ HVDC XLPE cable during electrical performance test. Finally, this system is installed in Jeju island based on successful electrical performance test (Type test). After installation tests are also successfully completed.

  • 본 논문에서는 고정익 항공기 환경제어장치(Environmental Control System) 운용 시 발생될 수 있는 냉각공기의 급격한 온도변화가 항공전자장비에 미치는 영향성을 알아보기 위한 시험장비 구성 및 설계안을 제시한다. ECS 시동 시, 항공기 ECS에서 공급되는 공기의 온도는 초당 5.0℃로 높아질 수 있다. 항공전자장비 개발 시 ECS에서 냉각공기를 제공받는 항공전자장비의 운용성 확보를 위하여, 냉각공기 특성 시험환경을 구현할 수 있는 시험장비가 필요하다. 시험장비 설계 시 열/유동해석을 수행하여 냉각공기의 급격한 온도변화율의 가능성을 확인하였고, 실제 탑재되는 항공전자장비를 적용하여 구현된 시험장비의 성능을 확인하였다.

중앙119구조본부 소방대원용 화학 보호복과 방열복의 동작적합성 평가 및 디자인 개선 (Enhancing Design and Evaluating Mobility of Firefighting Chemical and Flame Protective Clothing for the National 119 Rescue Headquarters)

  • The present study developed a test protocol for evaluating the mobility of firefighting chemical and flame personal protective equipment (PPE) for the National 119 Rescue Headquarters in Korea and suggested ergonomic design factors to improve their mobility and performance. Six types of PPE were employed, including three types for flame protective PPE (5 ~ 6 kg excluding the self-contained breathing apparatus), and three types for chemical and flame protective PPE (8 ~ 11 kg). These PPEs are used by the 119 Rescue firefighters. Three male firefighters (34.3 ± 1.2 y in age, 175 ± 8 cm in height, 81 ± 13 kg in body weight) participated in the mobility test and interview. A mobility test protocol consisting of 16 components (nine postures and seven motions including a dexterity test) along with a visibility test were developed based on pre-interviews and literature reviews. The findings indicated that the clothing microclimate humidity on the neck and chest exceeded 85%RH on average for all the six PPE conditions, with the chest area reaching as high as 98%RH. This high humidity caused fogging inside the visor and impaired visibility. The requirements for improving the PPE design in terms of mobility varied depending on whether it was the separated types or all-in-one types, particularly regarding the hood and gloves design. The findings of this study can be applied to improve the design of Level A_PPE for firefighters. The mobility test protocol and visibility test developed in this study can also be applied to other types of Level A impermeable PPE.

복합 유도무기체계의 신뢰성 확보를 위한 체계 통합 시험 설계 (System Integration Test Design to Ensure Reliability of Complex Guided Missile System)

  • In this paper, we have proposed a methodology which can make effective test for system integration of complex guided missile system. System integration test play a significant role in the development of weapon system, providing the means to detect and isolate faults on first linkage between sub-systems. Integration tests for domestic weapon system has executed not a technology-intensive method based on tool but labor-intensive method based on experience. Higher cost, longer period, and more resource are required to execute system integration test for complex guided missile system comparing with past weapon systems, because recently weapon systems have more complex and more networked functions. Because the proposed design method for system integration test decreases number of test case, it lead to a decrease of cost, period, and resource for integration test of weapon system. The proposed configuration for system integration test will ensure reliability through detection and isolation of fault on linkage between sub-systems.

  • 본 논문에서는 스캔 체인의 레이아웃 거리를 고려한 효율적인 Test Wrapper 설계 방식을 제안한다. SoC내의 스캔체인들을 태스트하기 위해서는 외부 TAM 라인(line)에 각 스캔체인들을 할당해야 한다. IP 내에 존재하는 스캔체인들은 정상모드에서는 타이밍 위반(Timing Violation)이 발생하지 않도록 레이아웃이 되지만, 테스트 모드에서는 TAM 라인(line)과 연결되는 스캔체인들 간에 부가적인 레이아웃 거리를 갖게 되므로 스캔체인에서 타이밍 위반이 발생될 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 타이밍 위반이 발생하지 않도록 체인간 레이아웃거리를 고려하여 스캔체인을 할당하는 새로운 test wrapper 설계 방식을 제안하였다.

  • In this paper, we proposed mobile LCD module test device on embedded based, when operating the existing LCD, divide flicker clearly in full frame, and configuration so as to support between other CPU interface, MDDI, SPI, 24Bit RGB interface, etc. that is based on a high-speed CPU. In addition, when demand to test about each pixel of LCD, it is possible to change IP design of H/W, FPGA, but proposed system is application possible without other design changing. Proposed system is made smaller and equipped with battery, so secure with mobility for effective test the LCD/OLED module and it is able to test the pattern by the client program, for example exiting picture, mpeg, simple pattern test and test per pixel, scale, rotation, Odd/Even pixel per video, etc. From now on, if integrating with independent test system and it is configured that is able to mutual communication and test, it is expected to reduce consumption of human resources and improve productivity for LCD module test.

경중량 수직형 충격 시험 장비의 선형 동역학 모델 수립을 통한 충격 시험 설계 기법에 관한 연구 (A Study on Shock Test Design Method Using Linear Dynamic Model of Light Weight Vertical Shock Test Machine)

  • Naval surface ships and submarines could be exposed to non-contact underwater explosion(UNDEX) environment. Equipment installed on the ships and submarines could be damaged by shock load generated by UNDEX environment. Therefore, shock survivability of equipment generally evaluated by shock tests. Ground based shock test machine such as Light weight shock test machine(LVSM) is developed to simulate shock load caused by UNDEX environment. In this study, linear dynamic model of LVSM is proposed and evaluated to improve shock test design procedure. Parameters of the model are decided by optimizing time domain response compared to zero payload experiment. Proposed model is verified by comparing simulation results and test results of maximum payload experiment. Finally, shock test design using the model is described for various test equipment weight.

  • 본 논문에서는 초고층 건축물이 풍화대지반에 위치하여 대구경 현장타설 말뚝기초로 지지되고 있는 사례를 분석하였다. 본 논문에서 제시한 말뚝기초의 설계 사례는 "예비설계-검증시험-예비설계의 보완"의 3단계를 거쳐 말뚝기초의 설계를 완성한 대표적인 사례로 볼 수 있으며, 검증시험으로 2회의 양방향 고유압 말뚝재하시험이 수행되었다. 이와 같은 설계절차를 준수할 경우 말뚝기초의 경제적인 설계를 수행할 수 있으며, 이를 통하여 말뚝기초 공사비의 대폭적인 절감을 이룰 수 있을 것이다.
