Mathematical basis of interpretation of data from nondestructive evaluation (NDE) methods in bridge inspection is presented. In bridge inspection with NDE methods, NDE data are not assessments. NDE data must be interpreted as condition of element. Interpretation is then assessment. Correct assessments of conditions of bridge elements depend on the accuracy and variability in test data as well as on the uncertainty of correlations between attributes (what is measured) and conditions (what is sought in the inspection). Inaccuracy and variability in test data defines the qualify or NDE test. The qualify or test itself is important, but in view of condition assessment, the significance of uncertainty in correlations of attributes and conditions must be combined. NDE methods that are accurate in their measurements may still be found to be poor methods if attributes are uncertain indicators of condition of bridge elements. This paper reports mathematical presentation of inaccuracy and variability in test data and of uncertainty in correlation of attributes to element conditions with three examples of NDE methods.
Web-based analysis programs for reliability assessment of machine tools were developed in this study. First, the reliability data analysis program was developed to search for failure rate using failure data and reliability test data of mechanical part. Second, failure mode analysis was developed through performance tests like circular movement test vibration test for machine tools. This analysis program shows correlation between failure mode and performance test result. Third, tool life was predicted by correlation between flank wear and cutting time, using the extended Taylor tool life equation in turning data and the equivalently converted equation in order to apply ball endmill data to Taylor tool life equation in milling data. All the information related to input and result data can be stored in theses programs.

In this research, we propose a nonparametric test procedure for the right censored and grouped data under the additive hazards model. For deriving the test statistics, we use the likelihood principle. Then we illustrate proposed test with an example and compare the performance with other procedure by obtaining empirical powers. Finally we discuss some interesting features concerning the proposed test.
Step-drawdown test is one of the widely-used aquifer test methods to evaluate aquifer and well losses. Various approaches have been suggested to estimate well losses using the step-drawdown test data but the uncertainties associated with data interpretation and analysis still exist. In this study, we applied three different step-drawdown test analysis methods -Jacob (1947), Labadie and Helweg (1975), Gupta (1989)- to the step-drawdown test data in Seobu-myeon, Hongseong-gun, South Korea and estimated aquifer and well losses. Comparisons of different step-drawdown test analysis methods revealed that the estimated well losses showed different values depending on the applied methods and these variations are likely to be related to the limitation of the assumptions for each analysis method. Based on the detailed analysis of time-drawdown data, we performed step-drawdown test analysis after removing outlier data during the initial stage of step drawdown test. The results showed that the application of the revised time-drawdown data could substantially decrease the error of the analysis as well as the variations in the estimated well losses from different analysis methods.
하지만 DDS(Data Distribution Service)를 활용하여 제안하는 시스템의 토픽 설계는 다음과 같은 장점들이 있다.
In the military field, according to the MIL-STD-188-220, which is an Ad-Hoc communication protocol used for sending out or receiving data and voice smoothly among nodes in the situation that wireless communication nodes move arbitrarily, data communication is cut off because nodes can not know topology changes perpetually in the link disconnection state due to node movement in the case that transmitters do not confirm whether data is delivered to receivers or not, and transmit only the data having routine precedence continuously. In order to solve this problem, we have proposed the technique that makes efficient data communication possible by achieving a rapid topology change detection and link information update using TEST frame. We have analyzed TEST frame application effects in the two aspects of the topology update delay time and the data transmission success ratio.

The COMS IMPS (Communication Ocean and Meteorological Satellite IMage Pre-processing Subsystem) is developed for image pre-processing of COMS. For a test of the COMS IMPS, 7 support software are developed in KARI GS using simulated MI/GOCI WB (Wide-Band) data; COMS Fill Adder, MI (Meteorological Imager) CADU generator, GOCI (Geostationary Ocean Colour Imager) CADU generator, COMS CADU combiner, MI SD (Sensor Data) analyzer, GOCI SD analyzer, and COMS DM (Decomposition Module) test harness. This paper explains functions of developed support software and the COMS IMPS test using those software.

This paper presents a new SOC test compression scheme in Embedded Deterministic Test (EDT) compression environment. Compressed test data is brought over the TAM from the tester to the cores in SOC and decompressed in the cores. The proposed scheme allows cores tested at the same time to share some test channels. By sharing free variables in these channels across test cubes of different cores decompressed at the same time, high encoding efficiency is achieved. Moreover, no excess control data is required in this scheme. The ability to reuse excess free variables eliminates the need for high precision in matching the number of test channels with the number of care bits for every core. Experimental results obtained for some SOC designs illustrate effectiveness of the proposed test application scheme.
