It is generally believed that Seonjeong-jeon and Heejeong-dang respectively served as Pyeonjeon of Chang-deok Palace in the earlier and the later period of Joseon dynasty. However, such belief is based on the concept of Pyeonjeon that emerged after the time of King Soonjo's reign(1800~1834). The concept and functions of Pyeonjeon varied among times ranging from Koryo to late Joseon dynasty. In the earlier Koryo dynasty, the word Pyeonjeon signified both "Pyeonjeon in relation to Jeong-jeon" or "Pyeonjeon as a casual office for the king". The ambiguity of the word was resolved when Bopyung-cheong and Jogye-cheong were established in the earlier Joseon dynasty. These buildings in Chang-deok Palace (and only Bopyung-cheong in Gyeong-bok Palace) held rituals related to events in Jeong-jeon, as well as their exclusive political rituals. Thus, the meaning of the term "Pyeon-jeon" became restricted to its second meaning, namely a casual building for the king's everyday office work and small banquets. However, the ambiguity reemerged from around the time of King Seong-jong's reign(1469~1494). In this period, Pyeonjeon as in relation to Jeong-jeon was often referred to as "Jeong-jeon", or "Beop-jeon" from the mid-16th century. In the 19th century, Pyeonjeon as king's casual office took over the characteristics and functions of Beop-jeon. Thus, the popular notion of "Pyeon-jeon" was newly established and passed onto nowadays.
The purpose of this study was to construct a grounded theory as the basis for nursing intervention by describing and analysing the holistic lived experiences of clients receiving long-term hemodialysis. The subjects of this study were fifteen persons receiving regular hemodialysis regimen at artificial kindey treatment centers in two different university hospitals, and who were able to participate in conversation and were available for long and dup interviews. Eight of the subjects were male and seven were female and their ages ranged from 30's to 60's. The length of the hemodialysis experience ranged from two months to six years. The collection and analysis of data were done in accordance with the grounded theory methodology of Strauss & Corbin. The method to collect the data mainly depended. on long and deep interviews, participant observation and focused group interviews and the equipment used to collect data were a portable tape recorder and field notes. The study is summarized as follows : 1. The meaning of holistic lived experiences of clients receiving long -term hemodialysis was found to be uncertainty. which was identified as the core category. 2. The main categories following the core category were found to be shock, ambiguity, social support and quality of life. 3. Through the main category the type of behavior newly formed by clients receiving long-term hemodialysis was found to be as follows. That is to say, in the circumstances of shock caused by the identified fact and the ambiguity of hemodilysis they formed a quality of life based on social support, which was found to be a kind of chaotic phenomenon. 4. The lived experiences of clients receiving long-tern hemodialysis was found to include nine categories : emotional shock, feelings of isolation, burden, unclearness, dependency, help from others, coping strategies, maintenance of self-esteem and transitional life. 5. The intervening factors influencing each category are as follows : 1) The factors influencing 'emetional shock' were found to be set age, the level of knowledge received in advance, locus of control, the period of struggle against the disease before hemodialysis and whether any serious illness existed. 2) The factors influencing 'feelings of isolation' were found to be religion and the length of the hemodialysis experience. 3) The factors influencing 'burden' were found to be sex, economic situation, employment status and the length of the hemodialysis experience. 4) The factors influencing 'unclearness' were found to be sex, age, religion. economic situation, the length of the hemodiaysis experience, whether they had had a transfusion and whether there were any complications. 5) The factors influencing 'help from others' were found to be religion. economic situation, past experiences and whether family members lived together. 6) The factors influencing 'coping strategies' were foung to be age, level of education, experiences of illness and locus of control. 7) The factors influeruing 'maintenance of self-esteem' were found to be the length of the hemodialysis experience and self-actualization. 8) The factors influencing 'transitional life' were found to be age, religion, economic situation, employment status. locus of control. past experiences and whether there was a plan for a kidney transplant.
In this paper, a comparison between different methods to combine predictions from neural networks will be given. These methods are bagging, bumping, and balancing. Those are based on the analysis of the ensemble generalization error into an ambiguity term and a term incorporating generalization performances of individual networks. Neural Networks and AI machine learning models are prone to overfitting. A strategy to prevent a neural network from overfitting, is to stop training in early stage of the learning process. The complete data set is spilt up into a training set and a validation set. Training is stopped when the error on the validation set starts increasing. The stability of the networks is highly dependent on the division in training and validation set, and also on the random initial weights and the chosen minimization procedure. This causes early stopped networks to be rather unstable: a small change in the data or different initial conditions can produce large changes in the prediction. Therefore, it is advisable to apply the same procedure several times starting from different initial weights. This technique is often referred to as training ensembles of neural networks. In this paper, we presented a comparison of three statistical methods to prevent overfitting of neural network.
This paper proposes a fuzzy dual method for analyzing long-term transmission system expansion planning problem considering ambiguities of the power system using fuzzy lineal programming. Transmission expansion planning problem can be formulated integer programming or linear programming with minimization total cost subject to reliability (load balance). A long-term expansion planning problem of a grid is very complex, which have uncertainties fur budget, reliability criteria and construction time. Too much computation time is asked for actual system. Fuzzy set theory can be used efficiently in order to consider ambiguity of the investment budget (economics) for constructing the new transmission lines and the delivery marginal rate (reliability criteria) of the system in this paper. This paper presents formulation of fuzzy dual method as first step for developing a fuzzy Ford-Fulkerson algorithm in future and demonstrates sample study. In application study, firstly, a case study using fuzzy integer programming with branch and bound method is presented for practical system. Secondly, the other case study with crisp Ford Fulkerson is presented.

This paper presents a fuzzy relaxation algorithm, which is based on the possibility and FAM instead of he probability and compatibility coefficients used in most of existing probabilistic relaxation algorithms, Because of eliminating stages for estimating of compatibility coefficients and normalization of the probability estimates, the proposed fuzzy relaxation algorithms increases the parallelism and has a simple iteration scheme. The construction of fuzzy relaxation scheme consists of the following three tasks: (1) definition of in/output linguistic variables, their term sets, and possibility. (2) Definition of FAM rule bases for relaxation using fuzzy compound relations. (3) Construction of the iteration scheme for calculating the new possibility estimate. Applications to region segmentation an ege detectiojn algorithms show that he proposed method can be used for not only reducing the image ambiguity and segmentation errors, but also enhancing the raw edge iteratively.
We analyzed the terminology and classification related to the risk management of radiation treatment overseas to establish the terminology and classification system for Korea. This study investigated the terminology and classification for radiotherapy risk management through overseas research materials from related organizations and associations, including the IAEA, WHO, British group, EC, and AAPM. Overseas risk management commonly uses the terms "near miss", "incident", and "adverse event", classified according to the degree of severity. However, several organizations have ambiguous terminologies. They use the term "near miss" for events such as a near event, close call, and good catch; the term "incident" for an event; and the term "adverse event" for the likes of an accident and an event. In addition, different organizations use different classifications: a "near miss" is generally classified as "incident" in most cases but not classified as such in BIR et al. Confusion might also be caused by the disunity of the terminology and classification, and by the ambiguity of definitions. Patient safety management of medical institutions in Korea uses the terms "near miss", "adverse event", and "sentinel event", which it classifies into eight levels according to the severity of risk to the patient. Therefore, the terminology and classification for radiotherapy risk management based on the patient safety management of medical institutions in Korea will help in improving the safety and quality of radiotherapy.

Despite the advantage of unlimited access, there are insufficient studies for the accuracy and stability of FKP that blocks the spread of the system for various applications. Therefore, we performed a long-term analysis from continuous real-time positioning, and investigated the error characteristics dependent on the size and the surrounding environment. The FKP shows significant changes in the positioning accuracy at different times of day, where the accuracy during daytime is worse than that of nighttime. In addition, the size and deviation of FKP correction may change with the ionospheric conditions, and high correlation between ambiguity resolution rate and the deviation of correction was observed. The receivers continuously request the correction information in order to cope with sudden variability of ionosphere. On the other hand, the correction information was not received up to an hour in case of stable ionospheric condition. It is noteworthy that the outliers of FKP are clustered in their position with some biases. Since several meters of errors can be occurred for kinematic positioning with FKP, therefore, it is necessary to make appropriate preparation for real-time applications.
Many presentations of documents are rejected because credits have been incorrectly issued. One reason of rejecting the documents is related with error in application stage of L/C. Errors may take the form of mismatches between the terms of the sales contract and the provisions stipulated in the credit. Thus, Article 5 encourages applicants to make their contribution to the smooth running of the letter of credit process by being unambiguous and brief. Another reason that the banks reject the documents relates to the ambiguity of the term "International Standard Banking Practice" That is to say, UCP500 Art.13 introduced the term "International Standard Banking Practice"(ISBP) without the definition so that one wonder what ISBP is or how ISBP apply in daily work of bankers, examination of documents. From hence, International Chamber of Commerce(ICC) started the work to document ISBP at May 2000, finally approved the result last year and published the publication titled "International Standard Banking Practice for the examination of documents under documentary credits." By applying ISBP in document examination stage, I expect that the freqency of rejecting the documents grow less and bankers' work of examination become easy. On the other hand, ISBP is supplement to UCP500 so that the interpretation of ISBP is made on the basis of understanding of UCP and its underlying principles. So, I reviewed each paragraphs of ISBP on this basis and tried to indicate contradiction between ISBP and UCP500. But because of reading not enough, I failed to search the connotative sense many paragraphs have.
For continuous and successful innovation, changes in innovation system are required and have been magnified as a new controversy. With high public interest in changes of innovation system, Transition theory and policy in Netherlands are now attracting attentions of many researchers and policymakers. Transition policy in Netherlands is distinguished from existing policies for fundamental system change in that take remarkably different views and methods. Typical examples of transition in Netherlands are such as sustainable energy transition, biodiversity and natural resource transition, sustainable agriculture transition, and sustainable transportation. Transitions in Netherlands are still in the early stage of it but several positive effects are witnessing. However some problems - linking theory and practice, ambiguity of transition concept, linking long-term vision and short-term, resistance of existing regime, implementation problem, diffusion of support, etc.- to be tackled are still remaining. In spite of those problems, many lessons can be drawn from them. To guide structural changes in innovation system into the right path and cope with lock-in problem by existing system and regime, we need to learn from Transition theory and policy in Netherlands.
The increasing interest in big data analysis using various data mining techniques indicates that many commercial data mining tools now need to be equipped with fundamental text analysis modules. The most essential prerequisite for accurate analysis of text documents is an understanding of the exact semantics of each term in a document. The main difficulties in understanding the exact semantics of terms are mainly attributable to homonym and synonym problems, which is a traditional problem in the natural language processing field. Some major text mining tools provide a thesaurus to solve these problems, but a thesaurus cannot be used to resolve complex synonym problems. Furthermore, the use of a thesaurus is irrelevant to the issue of homonym problems and hence cannot solve them. In this paper, we propose a semantic text mining methodology that uses ontologies to improve the quality of text mining results by resolving the semantic ambiguity caused by homonym and synonym problems. We evaluate the practical applicability of the proposed methodology by performing a classification analysis to predict customer churn using real transactional data and Q&A articles from the "S" online shopping mall in Korea. The experiments revealed that the prediction model produced by our proposed semantic text mining method outperformed the model produced by traditional text mining in terms of prediction accuracy such as the response, captured response, and lift.
