  • We examine the moduli space of oriented locally homogeneous manifolds of Type ${\mathcal{A}}$ which have non-degenerate symmetric Ricci tensor both in the setting of manifolds with torsion and also in the torsion free setting where the dimension is at least 3. These exhibit phenomena that is very different than in the case of surfaces. In dimension 3, we determine all the possible symmetry groups in the torsion free setting.

  • We study linearly dependent subsets with prescribed cardinality s of a multiprojective space. If the set S is a circuit, there is an upper bound on the number of factors of the minimal multiprojective space containing S. B. Lovitz gave a sharp upper bound for this number. If S has higher dependency, this may be not true without strong assumptions (and we give examples and suitable assumptions). We describe the dependent subsets S with #S = 6.

  • It is shown that the linear stability coincides with the thermodynamic stability in the case of stress tensor evolution for simple dense fluids even if the constitutive (evolution) equation for the stress tensor is nolinear. The domain of coincidence can be defined in the space of parameters appearing in the constitutive equation and we find the domain is confined in an elliptical cone in a three-dimensional parameter space. The corresponding state theory in rheology of simple dense fluids is also further examined. The validity of the idea is strengthened by the examination.

  • Let M be a real hypersurface with almost contact metric structure (, ξ, , g) in a nonflat complex space form Mn(c). We denote S and Rξ by the Ricci tensor of M and by the structure Jacobi operator with respect to the vector field ξ respectively. In this paper, we prove that M is a Hopf hypersurface of type (A) in Mn(c) if it satisfies Rξ = Rξ and at the same time satisfies $({\nabla}_{{\phi}{\nabla}_{\xi}{\xi}}R_{\xi}){\xi}=0$ or RξS = SRξ.

  • Let M be a real hypersurface in a complex space form Mn(c), c ≠ 0. In this paper, we prove that if (∇Xϕ)Y + (∇Yϕ)X = 0 holds on M, then M is a Hopf hypersurface, where ϕ is the tangential projection of the complex structure of Mn(c). We characterize such Hopf hypersurfaces of Mn(c).

  • Let T be a bounded linear operator on a complex Hilbert space $\mathcal{H}$. An operator T is called class A operator if ${\left|{T^2}\right|}{\geq}{\left|{T^2}\right|}$ and is called class A(k) operator if $({T^*\left|T\right|^{2k}T})^{\frac{1}{k+1}}{\geq}{\left|T\right|}^2$. In this paper, we show that ${\sigma}$ is continuous when restricted to the set of class A operators and consider the tensor products of class A(k) operators.

  • Let M be a real hypersurface of a complex space form with almost contact metric structure (${\phi}$, ${\xi}$, ${\eta}$, g). In this paper, we study real hypersurfaces in a complex space form whose structure Jacobi operator $R_{\xi}=R({\cdot},\;{\xi}){\xi}$ is ${\xi}$-parallel. In particular, we prove that the condition ${\nabla}_{\xi}R_{\xi}=0$ characterizes the homogeneous real hypersurfaces of type A in a complex projective space or a complex hyperbolic space when $R_{\xi}{\phi}S=R_{\xi}S{\phi}$ holds on M, where S denotes the Ricci tensor of type (1,1) on M.

  • We describe the Haagerup tensor product ${\ell}^{\infty}{\otimes}_h{\ell}^{\infty}$ and the extended Haagerup tensor product ${\ell}^{\infty}{\otimes}_{eh}{\ell}^{\infty}$ in terms of Schur product maps, and show that ${\ell}^{\infty}{\otimes}_h{\ell}^{\infty}{\cap}\mathbb{B}({\ell}^2)$(resp. ${\ell}^{\infty}{\otimes}_{eh}{\ell}^{\infty}{\cap}\mathbb{B}({\ell}^2)$) coincides with $c_0{\otimes}_hc_0{\cap}\mathbb{B}({\ell}^2)$(resp. $c_0{\otimes}_{eh}c_0{\cap}\mathbb{B}({\ell}^2)$). For $C^*2$-algebras A, B, it is shown that $A{\otimes}_hB=A{\otimes}_{eh}B$ if and only if A or B is finite-dimensional.
